I've Got My Face Back

I am so glad I found Professor Mahajan! For a long time, I’d been very unhappy about the way my face had dropped, the jowls that had formed, the ‘pouch’ of saggy skin under my chin and the deep nasolabial folds and marionette lines that had become deeper and deeper over the years.
I’m 71 years old but I feel decades younger. I’m lucky enough to be healthy, fit and active but my face didn’t reflect this. I wanted to have something done to try to improve all of these things but I didn’t want to undergo a general anaesthetic in order to achieve it.
Towards the end of last year, I started researching the possibility of facelifts using local anaesthetic. I found that not only is it possible but various surgeons have now started to offer this. By far the stand-out surgeon for me was Professor Mahajan. The before and after photos are amazing and the 5* reviews across the board made me start to think seriously about taking the plunge.
So earlier this year, I booked a consultation and travelled up from Hertfordshire to see Prof. Mahajan. He explained in detail about the procedure and suggested liposuction for the area beneath my jaw and chin. He then advised me to go away and think about things before making my decision but I knew by the end of the consultation that I was going to go ahead with the surgery.
A few weeks later, I was back ‘up north’ and being welcomed by the lovely staff at Evolve Medical and after my blood pressure was taken and final checks were completed, I was taken into the theatre.
Prof Mahajan and his lovely assistant Jay, were very professional and reassuring and checked with me regularly that I was doing ok. I was – throughout the whole procedure. Music was playing and we were chatting the whole time.
When the surgery was over, I sat up and was handed a mirror – and WOW!!
I have a beautifully defined jawline, the jowls have gone, the saggy ‘pouch’ under my chin and the marionette lines have gone. The deep nasolabial folds are now soft and natural. My neck is taut and no longer lined and crepey. The droopy, bloodhound, miserable-looking face I had has now gone, and I couldn’t be more delighted.
It’s now been four months since my surgery and I’m still amazed at the difference in my face. It’s made me feel more confident in myself and I feel I’m holding my head high and my back straight when I’m out and about walking and at the dance classes I attend. I can’t thank Prof. Mahajan enough – I’m so glad I found him. He’s an absolute expert in his field and I would recommend him to anyone.
So, if like me you are considering taking the plunge, do it! You will be so pleased that you did.
