My Experience, from the start, was amazing. I had my consultation in Jan and I knew this was the team for me. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, experienced and ready to answer any questions that I had. Clear instructions were given and sent to me before the procedure that answered any additional questions that I may have had. My surgery experience went very smoothly and I was back home on the road to recovery before I knew it. I had a one week check up at the office to remove my staples and tubes which went well. I'm almost two weeks into recovery at the moment and a bit swollen still but I am told both nipples, incisions and my chest looks healthy. Coming from a VERY large sized chest with back issues and dysphoria, I am EXTREMELY happy about my results. Dr. Sherie, Max, Kevin and team are all highly recommended in my book! S/N: I have other pictures but they will not crop correctly in this app. I will continue to update and add more pics.
Dr Sherie and her staff are in a class of their own. I had Vaser Lipo from my knees to my tummy. I am still healing and rather uncomfortable from the garment but I can already tell she did an amazing job!! Before I selected Dr Sherie I did consultations with other doctors. I felt an immediate comfort with her. I appreciate her full disclosure sheet on pricing. She and her staff were always available for my calls and responded quickly to my emails.
I decided to do the buttonhole technique because I wanted to keep sensation of my nipples. I also got lipo included around my chest, and added lipo of my chin/neck area. I had a few complications but due to other medical conditions they were expected and easily resolved. I'm a bigger guy and also wanted some tissue left for symmetry. Updated on 5 Dec 2017: Things are finally settling. At the 3 month mark now exactly. Right side ended up behaving the most. Right nipple ended up losing pigmentation and he's a little receded, but not bad. Full sensation returned. Left side still has some lumps from the hematoma that has been gradually going down, but it's taking a while. Barely any sensation has returned so far, which is weird considering he's the 'prettier' nipple. ha. Staple scars ended up being a little puffy but I scar pretty badly so that was expected. Really pleased and can't wait til the scars settle even more. Updated on 14 Apr 2019: Happy with my results. They'll definitely look better one I build my chest up and drop some weight but the scars have settled and I'll get them tattooed soon. I have vague erotic sensation in both nipples but my left nipple it pretty damn sensitive to pain easily.
I'm a young trans person who was looking to get multiple procedures done. I'm a veteran of smaller procedures like botox and filler so I knew how to shop for surgeons but this was going to be my first time undergoing anesthesia. I had so many questions and insecurities and I talked to a lot, A LOT of surgeons about what I wanted. Dr. Hope Sherie was a clear choice to me by the end. She made so much time for me before I'd even decided she'd be my surgeon. She's so warm and kind, and am incredibly wealth of knowledge. I ended up consulting with her 4 times before deciding she was the the one, and all 4 times she treated my questions and concerns with respect and never made me feel like I was double talking, which I'm sure I was at some point lol. I'm still in recovery so I don't have a before and after to show but my BBL and tummy tuck look gorgeous. I couldn't be happier with my results. She's truly an angel and I'll definitely be seeing her for all my cosmetic surgical needs in the future.
I had Vaser Lipo of my stomach, flanks, waist and lower back with fat transfer to my buttocks back in March. Dr. Sherie and Noelle made me feel soo comfortable immediately when I got there. I originally was going to Florida to have my procedure done but the staff was so attentive and made me feel so comfortable I changed my mind lol They made sure to check on me after my procedure and even months later they still do! My results are amazing! She will definitely get the job done for you.
I took the next step. I have been researching for years and I've been a member of RealSelf for some time. So the next step was the consultation. We talked about my expectations and talked about reality. I knew at that moment that the next step was moving forward. In two days I will have my procedure. Updated on 16 Sep 2016: I don't remember any part of getting home, but I went to bed as soon as I got home. Day 1, I was so tender and in moderate pain. Everything was so tight. Day 2, I drained a lot of fluids, so I tried to keep myself hydrated, moving, but also resting. Day 3, the bruises are coming in. I was up all night itching. I think it was the pain killers. Still very sore. No regrets. I go do a follow-up today. I'm looking forward to seeing my final results in the late Fall or Winter. Updated on 28 Sep 2016: At 1 week, I was draining constantly. I was really swollen and super tender. I quit taking pain meds after five days and haven't needed them since. I got my drain out from my crack. That is much more comfortable. The stitches from the entry under the butt and on my back itch. I drive and try to do an activity once a day for a few hours. It completely exhausts me. I've found that drinking water is my best friend and I'm not a water fan. The tummy tuck is definitely uncomfortable. And this compression garment. I empathize with women. I understand how uncomfortable sitting on a pad for days can be. To keep it real, I was able to resume sexual activities on day six. Just be careful and not too rough. Updated on 28 Sep 2016: I feel great. I'm a little tender around the tuck area. My butt has stopped being sore. The stitches under each butt cheek from the BBL have fallen out. My chest tuck has healed almost fully. My new belly button still has some healing, but it's looking good. I still drain even without the tube. Twice a day. And I still have to wear maternity pads. Not glamorous. I can't fit into a single our of my pants. I'm still far too swollen. I haven't worked for the last two weeks. I'm heading back to work tomorrow. I spend my days in this compression garment with my pad and gym shorts. I wash twice a day and change out garments to wash the crusty blood off of the inside. It gets itchy. My tummy tuck is healing up. It's tender when the seatbelt rubs it. I ball up a sock between me and the lap belt. I'm tired of taking so many pills, but my body definitely needs it. Also, I was always a guy who was hot natured. Now, I get chilly pretty easily. I have to make sure that I eat red meat every day or two or I will start feeling weak and becoming pale. I would love to be less swollen, I honestly don't know what I am going to wear. I have one pair of dress pants that are this big. Updated on 7 Oct 2016: I feel so much better. A lot of selling has gone down and I have dropped 10-15lbs since surgery. I can wear my pants again and I have moved down a size in shirts. I have moved down to the medium compression garment because the large was getting loose in spots and rubbing me. My tummy tuck hasn't healed all the way and it is still leaking a little goo. My drain hole between my butt cheeks has healed up and so I am swelling a little due to the fluids. I refilled my antibiotics to ensure a healthy recovery. I quit putting Aquaphor on my tummy tuck wound to allow it a better chance to dry. Standing up and sitting hurts the tuck as it stretches and contracts. My energy level is almost back up. I try to take in red meat every few days. I can sleep on my sides now with putting pillows beside me to help hold my belly in place. Everything in my stomach area is so tender. Shirts feel weird on my skin and every sensation is very intense. The compression garment is my protection. My lymph nodes on my chest, under my arms, on my sides, and various other places are swollen and tender. Updated on 7 Oct 2016: I feel so much better. My tummy has almost closed all of the way. I have decided to continue wearing the compression garment until it has closed completely. The only part that hasn't closed is right at the center. There is still some slight swelling and numbness in my chest. I'm back to my regular activities at full speed. Truthfully, the only uncomfortable part is standing and sitting. The garment runs the tuck right at the center where it is still healing. Also, my pubes growing back in catch in the fabric and that has an awkward sensation. If I put my hand over that spot, it helps reduce that movement when sitting and standing. I can wear all of my clothes again, but I have to be careful to not have pants that push that tender spot. I saw my whole family for the first time this last week. Everyone commented that I was skinnier. That was a nice feeling. My dad noticed that I had something on when he put his hand on my shoulder. I told him that it was a compression garment and he didn't ask for any additional information. Though I can see the Velcro shoulder straps, they aren't as noticeable to others. I'm hoping to be completely healed up and out of the garment completely by the weekend. Updated on 18 Oct 2016: Well, I tried to go without my compression suit for a few days. It didn't turn out well. I hadn't completely healed and so the waist of my boxers briefs and pants really dug into me. Also, my adult life may have put a bit of strain on my abdomen, as well. I tried to clean the area well and I'm trying to help it heal better. I had hoped that it would have closed up by now, but my activities have probably hindered that. I also taped the incision closed to keep it from opening and stretching as I sit and stand. My belly button has pretty much healed along with all of the other incisions. I can tell that I have some swelling in my chest and lower back. I'm just ready to be healed up. I can deal with the swelling, but this open wound needs to go ahead and close.
The facility is beautiful, inviting and super clean. The staff was really sweet! I knew going in that my first impression would weigh heavily on my decision. I was going there to talk about some very personal issues, very big changes and to find the doctor I was comfortable with helping me through those things. Dr. Sherie was kind and gentle and most importantly attentive. She did not just hear me, she listened. Surgery scheduled for November, let the anxiety begin! Updated on 9 Sep 2016: Dr. Sherie's office checked in on me to make sure I am getting ready and to see if I had any questions! I'm so nervous and they are doing great at helping ease those nerves a bit. Love them! I was interested in the experience of the Anesthetist and they told me they use two different Anesthetist and they have both had over 10 years of experience doing what they do. That definitely helped!
