I've been a patient of Dr. Manolakakis for 8 years. I only wish that he could be my doctor for everything! His personality, his passion, his compassion, and his desire to treat his patients as "properly as possible" is why I trust him so much. He never suggest too much, but rather a limited treatment with the possibility of more. That is a true doctor, a true caretaker.

As always, a wonderful experience with Dr M and his staff. Had surgery on December 1st. All went well expect for some post surgery nausea from anesthesia. Dr M stayed with me for an additional 4 hours after surgery, text he hourly until 1 am ( when I told him to get some rest) and had me come to the office the next morning for hydration. I have healed perfectly and cannot say enough about his...

Tayna his assistant is also so kind and helpful , she took as,much time as,she needed to assist him in cleaning the wounds .I then saw him 1 week after and then the next week . He is very concerned about his patients and wants to make sure the recovery is going well . He takes great pride in his profession and it shows thru his willingness to listen at anytime , and also his office staff is just as kind and caring as he. I am very proud to say I made the rite choice in choosing Dr Manolis for my facelift, neck lift.

Skilled, compassionate, great personality and staff. Achieved the desired results. Extraordinary bedside manner. The morning of my surgery, my extreme anxiety instantly dissolved when he showed up with a huge smile on his face and a bounce in his step. He obviously loves what he does ,takes great pride in his work, and shows genuine concern and respect for his patients. The evening after my surgery, he called to follow up with my husband. He answered all of my husband's questions and concerns and spoke to me as well. Don't hesitate to go for a consultation. His approach is thorough, honest and not pushy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Manolakakis for many years. When I first met him I had so many concerns and so many things I wanted to do. Have you ever met a plastic surgeon who talked you out of the ten procedures you wanted? I hadn't until I met Dr. Mano. He was so honest about what he felt would give me the look I wanted with one procedure and I am so happy I listened to him! He was there for...

I've been a patient of Dr. M's for more than 8 years and he has always recommended the best and most appropriate procedure for my needs. I always say "I want a natural look" and that's what I leave with every time. Of course to keep a "natural look" you have to start early and not wait until it will be so obvious. Some of my visits I go in asking for this and that, but Dr. M is always...

Yes, men are getting Botox, fillers and surgery too. This isn’t news. They have been for years. Never mind that women still outnumber us more than 9 to 1 when it comes to cosmetic treatments, the fact is that the number of guys walking through my doors is growing. Anyone will tell you that the primary driver is to be “more competitive” in the workplace. But what exactly does that mean? A recent article published by CNBC finally nailed down one of the specific battles men face today as the...
In the cosmetic surgery industry, we talk a lot about the safety and effectiveness of various aesthetic treatments. And for many treatments, this hold true. There are clinical studies and years of results backing products like Botox and the assorted hyaluronic acid fillers. But one thing you don’t hear a lot about is the concept of the science of beauty or the artist behind the aesthetic. It’s these two components — the science and the art — that really make the difference between an ...
“Chin Up” has multiple meanings: To keep a positive attitude.A variation on the pull up that uses an underhanded grip.A literal repositioning of the chin by aesthetic means. Most of us know and use this phrase to give someone emotional support and encouragement. Hey, don’t let it get you down… Keep your chin up! And then there’s the strength training “chin up” we remember from high school gym class. Both of these share a common characteristic: To succeed with each r...
I’m not the first one to pose the question… probably not the last either. But with all the hype around Kybella, it’s one worth exploring. If you don’t know the history of Botox, here it is in a nutshell:An accidental discovery, botulinum toxin type A was initially used to treat eye muscle disorders (think crossed eyes, eye twitches). But when patients began to notice the wrinkles between their eyebrows softening as a side effect, the cosmetic treatment BOTOX was born. Since then, it’s beco...
Botox has been hailed as the anti-aging wonder drug of the 21st century. And, don’t get me wrong, it is. It has literally changed the face of cosmetic medicine. But it turns out this injectable youth elixir may also has a dark side: over-freeze your forehead for too long and you could eventually be in need of what you’ve been Botoxing to avoid — brow lift surgery. First, let me say, Botox really is like youth in a syringe. If you want to soften crow’s feet, smooth away the elevens...
