Amazing Experience

Dr. Lytle and his staff are just great! I have doing research and trying to find the right doctor for years. When I met Dr. Lytle and his staff i knew he was going to be my doctor. I went with a list of questions and didn't have to read not one of them because he covered every area of concern that i had. On November 21, 2024 I had my procedure and couldn't be happier.

Love my results - so happy I had it done

I decided to try the Morpheus 8 on my stretch marks, abdominal & my Mons. They were really bad & & I didn't think anything would help. Amazing! If my before & after pictures looked good I would post them but you really can't see much of a difference from the pictures. Let me tell you, my husband didn't know I was having anything done & he noticed the change. Which amazed me that he would notice just before my second treatment. I'm so happy I had it done.

Not Just a Surgeon but a Magician!

Dear Dr. Lytle and staff... I don’t know if you realize it, but you are all beyond AMAZING. This is not stated with the intention of flattery or exaggeration. (Yes it is) It is a fact. Your very talented surgical skills combined with the abundant amounts of compassion and care that you gave to me enabled the entire experience to progress very smoothly and positively. Dr Lytle is nothing less than observant, knowledgeable, attentive, passionate, humorous, skillful, trustworthy. Truly SPECIAL. I can not thank you enough for doing my surgery. You have NO idea (well maybe) how HAPPY I am. As a 52 year old single mother of 5 with limited income I have HATED my belly for over 20 years. What you did for me is soooo life changing. You took time to listen and time to explain. It's been almost 7 weeks since my surgery (Tummy tuck) and each and everyday I remain very impressed with my results. Thank you for changing my life. I believe you are a blessing sent to me and I am so thankful that I found YOU. Keep smiling and doing what you do so well. Can't wait to see you all again. THANK YOU!!

The Best Plastic Surgeon and Staff

Dr. Lytle to me is the best plastic surgeon around. he takes the time to explain everything to you what to expect on how you are going to feel after surgery, how long it will take to see results, and how important your overall satisfaction is with your experience from start to finish. He never sugar coats it and always is honest which to some people might be not what they want to hear but to me, I want to know the truth and honest answer to everything having to do with my procedure.  He and his staff make themselves available to you after hours if need be, they are there to answer any question you have even if you think its a silly one. I could not have asked for better care/service or treatment from a surgeon. Would for sure hands down only use Dr. Lytle and his team going forward.

How I Truly Feel

My experience with Dr. Lytle and his staff (nurse Cindy, Dena, and Kim) was AMAZING!! From the moment I walked into Dr. Lytle's office, Dena greeted me with such warmth it literally made me feel as if it was not my first visit (but it was). Nurse Cindy (OMG) is such a sweet lady. Words cannot describe her personality. She was extremely informative and helpful during each office visit. My first visit I instantly wanted to become her friend. That is how down to earth and kindhearted she is. Kim, who explains the insurance process, was very thorough and very helpful. These three women are just awesome and I can't thank them enough for making my visits a wonderful experience. Dr. Lytle, who is a plastic surgeon, is a GENIUS and has changed my LIFE. Because of Dr. Lytle, my life has started over for the better. I came out of the operating room feeling like a totally new person. Prior to my surgery, Dr. Lytle went over everything and made sure I understood the whole process. He educated me and he told me what I should expect, etc. Just an amazing Doctor! Dr. Lytle is very compassionate and caring to his patients. I had an episode (one of my drains came out on it's own) over the 4th of July weekend and Dr. Lytle, who was spending time with his family, went out of his way to call me and make sure everything was okay. Surgery in any form can cause anxiety and nervousness, so I am very fortunate for Dr. Lytle and his staff for making this entire process as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Lytle to anyone that is considering the services that he specializes in. I am looking forward to getting more stuff done in the future. Thank you again Dr. Lytle, nurse Cindy, Dena, and Kim, Ihsan (trouble) *insider* lol

I can not thank Dr. Lytle enough for giving me back my self confidence and self esteem back

On May 9, 2019 I had abdominoplasty/liposuction and blepharoplasty prior to surgery Dr. Lytle esplained everything to a "T" as to what would take place before during and after surgery; he could not have made me feel more comfortable with the procedures that were going to be performed. The Day of the surgery he came in and again went over the procedure with my husband and myself and let us know what to expect after surgery. I am now 5 weeks out and could not be more happy with the out come. I am still working on some swelling from the abdominoplasty and very little swelling from the blepharoplasty which I don't think anyone else notices but me. I can not thank Dr. Lytle enough for giving me back my self confidence and self esteem back. The staff could not be more supportive and professional.

Breast Reconstruction with Latissimus Flap

One of a Kind Plastic Surgeon, Amazing Latissimus Dorsi Flap

Dr. Lytle recently performed a Latissimus Dorsi Flap breast reconstruction for me. He and his staff are truly one of a kind in every best way possible. Dr. Lytle spent over an hour at an appt answering any questions I had about the procedure in great detail. Cindy the nurse was also available to address any concerns I had as the surgery approached at a moments notice. Kim and Dena helped with scheduling and insurance coordination with great ease that made it stress free. On the day of surgery Dr Lytle was early, the OR staff worked well together, and my family was kept up to date on my progress. Dr. Lytle left me with such wonderful surgical results that I did not know would ever be possible for me again. I finally feel like my old self again and that is truly such a wonderful feeling. There aren't enough words to say thank you to Dr. Lytle, Cindy and their whole staff for helping me feel like my old self both inside and out again. My entire family feels Dr. Lytle is one of a kind , and we would urge anyone needing plastic surgical needs to not look anywhere else. They are the best!

Getting my tummy back! Umbilical hernia repair, diastasis recti repair, and mini-abdominoplasty after having 4 babies

Just had this surgery 12/20/18. Surgery was a breeze, coming off of anesthesia was horrible (nausea, throwing up, cold sweats) then during the night my abdomen began swelling a lot. I called Dr. Lytle (he is AWESOME) and he met us (my 3 kids and husband and I) at his office right away at like 2:30am. Under local anesthesia he had to open the incision, drain the blood and fluid, clean it all out and see it back up. I felt no pain but being awake and aware of what was going on was very difficult for me and I could feel the cleaning instrument between my skin and muscle and the pulling of stitches. Dr. Lytle was very understanding and gentle and had me all fixed up quickly. He put a drain in so I haven’t had any fluid buildup or pressure since. It’s now 5 days later and my pain is very minimal, just having a hard time walking around still. There is some bruising around the incision, and my labia are swollen and purple, but none of it hurts. My only advice at this point is to opt for a drain during initial surgery so you won’t have to worry about fluid buildup, and if you happen to have a hematoma like I did (rare) you will know right away because the drain will fill up fast from it. Although it looks pretty gross right now, I’m really excited to see what it looks like once healed! I think it’s going to look great - maybe even better than before I had kids! I recommend Dr. Lytle 100% - he and his staff are all so wonderful and caring and professional. Thanks for reading! I’ll post more post-op pics later... Updated on 30 Dec 2018: Still hard to walk around which is the hardest part for me. Stomach feels so tight, back muscles are sore, and I’m sick of having this drain coming out of me. Looks like the scar is going to heal beautifully though! Super anxious to see what my belly button is going to look like... Updated on 3 Jan 2019: Just starting to be able to straighten out when standing or laying down stretching. Still not able to do too much before getting worn out. I had my checkup yesterday and did a lot of walking around during the day. I feel a bit sore from that now. Made my kids breakfast this morning and had to rest on the couch after we ate. Checkup went well. Finally got the drain out! Wasn’t bad. They snipped the stitch holding it in, then it slid right out and they stuck some gauze and tape on, done. Dr. Lytle said I’m recovering at a normal rate and it looks like it will heal beautifully. Still some time for swelling and bruising to disappear. Happy with everything and feeling pretty good! Updated on 6 Jan 2019: I feel like I’m turning a corner now - can walk much better and help around the house. No more pain, just stretching and a pulling feeling if I do too much. Ready for work tomorrow....I think. Updated on 6 Jan 2019: Forgot to include pictures - Updated on 9 Jan 2019: What a difference a week makes! I was stuck on the couch and now I’m doing laundry and playing with my kids ???? The skin above my belly button is loose but I don’t think anything could be done for that. Below my belly button is smooth and firm. My belly button is looking better to me now! The scar seems like it will heal nicely and there are no dog ears. I still have to go slow and can’t do a lot of things still but I’m able to work and take care of my kids and home again! Updated on 10 Jan 2019: Every morning I can stand a little more upright. My husband said I look like an evolution of man chart lol Updated on 12 Jan 2019: I’m comfortable wearing just Spanx now instead of my bulky hospital binder. Swelling is gone and I can stand straight, wear heels, and do my normal routine aside from heavy lifting or working out Updated on 18 Jan 2019: Feeling stronger every day! My abs were repaired all the way up to the top and the top muscles are still a bit tender if I over-do it. Coughing and sneezing still hurts, but I can spit and poop (tmi?) early now... swelling is minimal and belly button is changing a bit more.

$6,760Mentor Breast Implants

amirafaith

31yo, nursed 4 years, under muscle 355cc silicone implants size AA to size D

After nursing for so long my average boobs turned into flat, wrinkly, empty flaps and I felt so self conscious and depressed about it. I decided to reward myself for nursing and get implants. I went to Dr. Ian Lytle in Dearborn, MI and couldn’t have been happier with him and his staff. I just went back to him for a mini-abdominoplasty I’ll review later... The implants I decided on were Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Round Silicone. I liked the round vs. teardrop because I was worried about them possibly moving/rotating and looking uneven. I chose smooth vs. textured because I just felt like textured would cause irritation or thicker scar tissue (just my thought, not sure if that’s true or not.) I chose the MemoryGel because they’re thick, kind of like gummy bear texture, and if they were to rupture or crack there wouldn’t be any materials leaking or moving through my body, it would just stay in the same spot. They still feel squishy and natural and (I think) much more durable. I chose under muscle because I have thin skin and didn’t want them to look fake. The only downside is they push toward my armpits when I flex my pectoral muscles and it creates some separation/pulling in the center, but I don’t do push-ups or body-building poses in front of people so this isn’t a big deal to me. For a couple weeks I wished I had gone bigger but I think this separation would be more obvious with bigger implants. I still prefer the natural under-muscle look. I like that they look natural and not noticeable with appropriate shirts, but I can also get good cleavage with the right push-up bra. I feel like Dr. Lytle gave me just what I asked for and they’re very proportionate to my body and I feel very confident now. Recovery was much easier than I’d expected. I was only off work for a week. Lifting things and opening jars was very difficult for a while. I think I was holding my 1 year old without difficulty after just a couple weeks. I kept a binder on while I slept on my back to keep them from separating further. I have a wide chest area and was worried I wouldn’t be able to get cleavage so I bound them pretty tight together while healing. After they dropped and fluffed they looked just right to me. Overall it was DEFINITELY worth it and I think everyone who is insecure about their breasts should consider it. Thanks for reading!

Wonderful staff and surgeon, confident you'll receive great care

Dr. Lytle corrected an area on my face that has bothered me for years, and I'm delighted with the results. His entire office was wonderful to work with from Dena at the front desk who helped to explain what to expect afterwards, to Cindy who helped with arranging the appointment. Follow-up care and the availability to have any questions easily answered is where Dr Lytle, Cindy, Dena and their ability to work together just shines. I can't recommend them enough, don't look anywhere else! Simply the best!
