I am about 10 weeks post-reconstruction and I'm thrilled with my results! Dr. Amy Colwell performed my two-stage breast reconstruction. The first stage was with expanders after another excellent surgeon at Massachusetts General performed my double mastectomy. Recently, in June of 2023, Dr. Colwell performed the second (final) stage of surgery to replace my expanders with silicone implants at the Waltham Mass General location. I received Natrelle Gel Inspira Style Round Extra

Exceptional surgeon, amazing results!
Dr. Colwell is an outstanding surgeon. I was very nervous and felt overwhelmed with having a surgery and going through anesthesia. She took the time to listen to what result i was looking for and to how I wanted to keep a very conservative mastopexy with augmentation. She explained the procedure and answered all my concerns, and made me feel at ease. I am extremely happy with the results, could not imagine better. Truly perfect. From the post op, to the surgery and follow

A true body artist
Dr. Colwell. Is an artist. I never had abs, but I do know. I have a flatter stomach than my 28 year old daughter. I can't say enough about her. I highly reccomend her. She answered all my questions and was so concerned about my after care.
Wonderful Surgeon
Dr Colwell is an incredibly talented surgeon. She did both a tummy tuck and, few years later, a butt lift for me and I could not be happier. The scars were minimal right after surgery and basically are none existent now. (this is why I chose her...she invented a minimally scarring incision technique). My husband loves the result so much he said we should leave money to Dr Colwell in our Will :) She also has a sweet, kind bedside manner. I highly recommend her

If you're looking for someone who cares, explains the procedure and does an outstanding job look no more. I went to Dr. Colwell because I was unhappy with sagging skin and jowls. I held off for many years because I was afraid to have bad results that were irreversible. I met Dr. Colwell and instantly felt at ease. Her mannerism is soothing and she spent time explaining exactly what was going to happen during and after the surgery. I decided to do it and WOW it was the best
My BR surgery was done on August 26, happy with the results. Before surgery I was a 44DDD, Dr said I will be a 42C when all is healed and swelling is gone. I absolutely love my PS, her and her staff are awesome! I've only had to call twice since surgery just for a few questions. I stayed over nite at hospital after surgery, and thank God PS removed drains before I went home, that was my worst fear was having to change them at home but God did it hurt when she pulled them out
I had a gastric bypass 5 years ago which helped me lose 169 pounds. They cut off 12 pounds of extra skin total. Pain- very intense, but worth it. Needed help bathing, standing, getting up for 2 weeks. 6 weeks until back to life 100%. I needed and used all of my pain meds. Stayed in the hospital for 2 days. Money- Insurance paid for the front portion! I paid the difference to have the incision go all the way around! Out of pocket expense was $5,000 (without would be around

WOW! One year anniversary!
Hello! I am a 45 year old mom of two. Both born by cesarean. The second baby was 10lbs and my belly couldnt handle it. Pre baby years I had flat abs because I enjoy exercise. And i still exercise alot but it is clear an abdominalplasty is the only thing that is going to help my abs. I have been wrestling with the thought of surgery for years. Saying to myself "stop being so vain" or "its not that bad.". But every day I hate what I see when I am in the shower, gettting dressed,
