WORTH IT$45,000
My BR surgery was done on August 26, happy with the results. Before surgery I was a 44DDD, Dr said I will be a 42C when all is healed and swelling is gone. I absolutely love my PS, her and her staff are awesome! I've only had to call twice since surgery just for a few questions. I stayed over nite at hospital after surgery, and thank God PS removed drains before I went home, that was my worst fear was having to change them at home but God did it hurt when she pulled them out and I couldn't believe how long they were!! I thought by now, its been 5 weeks, that I would be feeling like myself by now but I guess I'm a little impatient. I noticed this morning after taking shower that one areola is larger than the other and it kind of freaked me out. I don't know why I never noticed it before. I think my breast have a weird shape to them but I guess they r still swollen, I hope thats why they look weird to me. I still have weird pains sometimes but I guess thats to be expected. I see my PS on Wednesday for my 6 week check-up. I hope she says everything looks good, maybe then I'll feel alittle better. I just hate the fact that my stomach seems to be alot bigger and more noticeable now than before because my breast covered it but once I get the ok from PS, which hopefully I will when I see her then I can start exercising!!!! I would like to lose another 20 lbs. I've lost 71lbs in the last 2 years. I'm so happy I found this site, it has really helped me and I know I'm not alone and alot of u girls out there have a lot of the same issues and questions I have had in this long healing process.

I went back to my PS on Oct 8 for my 6 week followup. She said I'm healing great!!! I don't have to go back unless I have any issues!! I was really surprised. But she said to call if I have any problems. She said it would be at least 6 months until my breasts look the way they should for good, still have some swelling on the sides but nothing to bad, i can gradually get back to doing some exercise, she said it's all about how comfortable I am and not to over due it!! I don't have to much pain anymore, the only issue is on my right side, under my arm where the drain was it bleeds a little some times and feels like i'm being jabbed with a needle. PS says it can happen, the stitches inside that need to disolve can get tiny bumps around them and she rubbed around the side and boy did that hurt but she says I need to do that to help the scar loosen up but it freaks me out to touch it! Other than that I'm feeling pretty good. I don't regret a single part of this!! I told her she changed my life so much. I've lost a total of 71 lbs in the past 2 years( 7 lbs of it from BR surgery) I just want to lose 20 more and I'll be really happy!!! Gotta get rid of that extra stomach that I didn't realize I had because my boobs were covering it but now irs very noticeable ( thats the only bad part) but I have confidence that I can get rid of that with exercise!!! I'm so happy I fiubd this site, it has helped me so much!!! Good luck to any of u women out there waiting for their surgery, it's so worth it in the end!!!

3 months post op

Does anyone else still have some pain at this point in post op? Its not terrible pain but I didn't think I would still have pain by now. Its mostly on my right side right above incision line. Just started not wearing my surgi bra to bed, so I'm not sure if that is why i have the pain. I always slept on my right side before surgery but haven't attempted that yet, still sleeping partially sitting up, I'm still nervous about waking up in severe pain on right side when I wake up. Any thoughts ot suggestions would help alot!! Thanks!!

No I think it's normal to have some or a little pain. I just take an anti inflammatory and it works good. I'm almost 5 months postoperative and I still get a little pain here and there but nothing severe.

I also take ibuprofen for the pain and it does help. My doctor did say it would take a good 6 months til i would start feeling myself again. I guess she wasn't kidding!! LOL. Still absolutely no regrets!!! Glad ur doing well at almost 5 months. Thanks for replying back to me!!
