William Numa, MD, FACS

I get Botox done by Dr. Numa and I would not trust anyone else! He takes a very conservative approach so I leave looking natural and like myself. He has such a great bedside manner, explains everything in detail, and answers all of my questions. Would give 10 stars if possible - I highly recommend him!

I have a history - a long history of skin cancers . Dr. Numa has done the past two major facial reconstructions . 2014 and again different area 2017. Once they heal - no one can tell I've had surgeries . Hands down, this man is a genius and passionate about his work. His office staff mirror his graciousness and concern. He is the ONLY plastic surgeon I would recommend . You can't go wrong with a Dr who loves what he does and appreciates his patients .

I went back to Dr. Numa in Boston who does my botox. He did such a good job that I trusted him enough to go to him about getting filler. I am 27 years old and because of many years of smoking, tanning and weight loss, I found that my face was looking a little drawn and my under eyes were bothering me a lot. I was very scared for filler and wasn't sure if I was even going to go through with it. I explained to Dr. Numa what my concerns were and what I wanted. Instead of getting the filler under my eyes (which I thought I was going to) he recommenede that I get it in my cheeks, which would add the volume back to my face as well as help improve my under eyes. It didn't hurt at all!!! I had no bruising (since I stopped taking and tylenol or ibuprofen a week or so prior) I really love it!! I just went back today for my follow up and I had him add a little in my nasolabia folds. He is amazing and really is skilled at what he does!!! My cheeks are a little sore, nothing that is bothering me too much and I explained that to him today and he told me its pretty normal and just because I don't see any topical bruising, doesn't mean that I don't have bruising deeper. He really is the best and never pushes anything on you. He always listens o what you want and delivers every time. I always enter and exit his office feeling happy and confident!!! I had been wanting to try botox for a while. I did my research and ended up going to Dr. Numa in Boston. I LOVE IT! I first got my forehead done and when I went back for my two week follow up I got my crows feet done. I was nervous and he and his staff were so professional and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease about getting it done. He listened to what I wanted (which was natural and light, since it was my first time) I totally LOVE what it did for me. I am going back in a few weeks to get more done since I had originally had it done months ago. I also am going to have him do some juvederm for my smile lines.

I had the Fraxel Dual procedure done at Dr. Numa's office. I looked bronzed at first (as explained to me by his staff). After a few days, silky smooth skin with a remarkable decrease in the sun spots. It even made my eyelid bags look better! Looking forward to the rest of the treatments in the series.

Dr. Numa did my upper eyelids. The decision was not easy, and I saw two other surgeons locally who were recommended. As soon as I met him and we discussed my procedure I knew he was the right surgeon for me. I have a very natural appearance and everyone complements my eyes!!! Highly recommend the procedure and Dr. Numa.

I am very happy with Dr. Numa. it took me a long time to finally decide to try a treatment to improve my looks. I really like for my face to have a natural expression and it was my main goal. Dr. Numa was highly recommended and he understood my needs and concerns. He is an excellent facial plastic surgeon so I felt he had thorough knowledge of the face and its muscles and could provide the natural looks I wanted. I do not live in the Boston area but will continue getting my touch ups with him. A friend said to me: " You are looking much more relaxed, whatever you are doing keep it up"! Great location, private, beautiful and IMPECABLE office The staff is very nice.

I was initially pleased with my consult for septo/rhino with Dr. Numa. The office was nice and the staff were friendly. However, I asked the staff and was told before my appointment that the consult would be billed through my insurance and it was not, only the nasal endo was. Annoying, but not a dealbreaker for me. Dr. Numa himself was professional and patient in allowing questions and explained everything in as much detail as I requested. I know from my research and the consult that he is very skilled at what he does. However, I chose another surgeon primarily due to the price I was quoted for an open septo/rhino. The functional septoplasty will be billed to my insurance as I have difficulty breathing. The cosmetic rhinoplasty quote I received from Dr. Numa was over $31,000. No, that is not a typo... but it is what you can expect to spend on a brand new Lexus CT! Though I need an open procedure, this is an exorbitant price tag for a rhinoplasty in my opinion. I selected the next surgeon in Boston with whom I had a consult. He is also double board certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and does somewhere around 5-6 rhinos/ week, so he is well-practiced in rhinoplasty... but my quote for the cosmetic rhino is under $7,000. Even IF I had a money tree in my backyard, I would not go back to Dr. Numa because I see in hindsight that my surgeon did also spend more time with me and made me feel more at ease. TL;DR If you want a skilled surgeon, require a posh office experience, and have money to burn, then Dr. Numa is definitely your guy. Otherwise, you may be paying a premium to subsidize the office’s steep rent on Newbury Street.

Doctor Numa was my rhinoplasty surgeon and he did an amazing job!!! I can now breathe better than ever and my nose looks amazing and natural. I can recommend him to anyone with the same problem. He literally wrote the book on it. I researched this procedure extensively, and he came highly recommended.
