Hello, my name is Dmetria and I received a BBL/Lipo360 from Dr.Ball. I was soooo nervous but Viviana made me feel so at ease. Dr.Ball is wonderful. I love my results. He did amazing with my Lipo 360, my butt looks very natural however I feel like it needed more of a big round look instead... but besides that everything is great. 

I have always hated by big, chunky arms and back rolls. No matter how much I worked out, I am just built wide as a billboard. I wanted the arm flab and the bra rolls to go! I decided to look in to surgery in June, and then I did my research. I'm from Kentucky and not too many doctors in my area do high volume liposuction, so I looked elsewhere. I love the results from my lipo and BBL three years ago in Miami, but I didn't have the time to fly to Miami and get all that arranged. I found Atlanta Liposuction Specialty Clinic in Norcross, GA (just north of Atlanta) and I was so impressed by Dr. Cole's work and reviews. I sent in my pictures for consultation and called to inquire about a quote. I was told that Dr. Cole had no appointments open until September, but Dr. Ball had some openings at the end of July. I was assured Dr. Ball's work was good, and I needed to go ahead and get the surgery done so I wouldn't have to take off a bunch or have to deal with recovery when I returned back to work in person. I went ahead and scheduled with Dr. Ball to have liposuction of my arms, waist, and back bra roll. My original surgery date was scheduled for 07/29/2021. I had a virtual pre op with Dr. Ball, and during the pre op, I asked if I was a good candidate for liposuction to my back rolls and what my expectations should be, and Dr. Ball told me he hadn't seen the pictures I sent in for my consultation because he wasn't provided with them. Needless to say, I was concerned. I had already paid my $500; however, so I proceeded. At the day of the pre-op, they expect you to pay the full amount. No problem. I had the funds available. After I paid my money, the surgery center called me and told me that they would have to reschedule my surgery because Dr. Ball had an emergency out of town and needed to leave for a month. Pushing the surgery back later didn't work for my schedule, so I insisted on transferring me to Dr. Cole or refunding my $8,500 I had already paid. I was understandably furious, and Victoria, the receptionist was incredibly patient with my frustration. She was super professional and listened to my concerns. Somehow Dr. Ball figured out how to reschedule his trip, and he moved all his surgery dates up so he could leave right after. My surgery was rescheduled for two weeks sooner, which ended up being 07/17/2021. I was excited about this because it would give me more time to recover before returning to work. Updated on 29 Jul 2021: On the day of surgery, I was scheduled to arrive by 7 a.m. I was told that at Atlanta Liposuction, the doctor's only see one patient per day, which I like that. I appreciate the individual attention and care. When I got there, the office was very nicely decorated and clean. The lady who works at the front desk was very sweet, as well. I'd was given meds for blood pressure and anti nausea. My pictures were taken and Dr. Ball came in to answer and last minute questions I had and to mark me up. After that I entered the room and got on the table. The nurse hooked up to an IV, and put on some music of my choice. Dr. Ball came in and put a shot in each of my thighs. One shot for pain and one shot for sedation. The shots had a little sting, but shortly after I started to fall asleep. Dr. Ball started to work on my back and on my arms, and I'm not going to lie, it hurt at times. I was laying in the most uncomfortable position on my arms for an hour per arm, which completely cut off the circulation in my arms. Dr. Ball scolded me every time I shifted, but I was so painfully uncomfortable, there was nothing else I could do. There was also three times during the surgery that I told Dr. Ball I was in severe pain (and I have high pain tolerance), but I feel like my request was ignored. By the time the procedure was coming to an end, the pain was unbearable. I was laying on the table, crying quiet tears, and it was only then that I feel like Dr. Ball put more numbing injections in to my back. The nurse, Lauren, was the absolute best. She would gently tap me and reassure me and remind me that it was almost over. I feel like she was actually empathetic and if it weren't for her being in the room, I wouldn't have made it through. When Dr. Ball was finished, he didn't say another word to me. He just left the room. Lauren helped me to the restroom and also helped me to get in to my compression garment. She walked me out to my car and gave my bf some instructions for after care. Dr. Ball called me a few days later, and his personality was a better. Sometimes his personality is fine, but during surgery his bedside manner is not very warm or friendly. His scolding of me to lay still and ignoring my request for more numbing made my discomfort and pain worse. Updated on 29 Jul 2021: I find that it helps me to look back later if I get another surgery how my recovery was. The day of surgery was hell. I slept most of the time and I drained so much. I put puppy pads on the bed, an old comforter, and some towels. I still leaked through all of those items and through the sheets. I could not lift my arms and I barely fit in to my compression garment due to the swelling and fullness from the fluids inside of me. By day 2, I wasn't draining nearly as much. I felt disgusting, so I had to take a shower by the end of the day and wash my compression garment. It was painful to move and I couldn't lift my arms up. It also was painful to get water on my back because the incisions were still open. I moved around and fixed myself easy meals, but I still slept a lot due to still being on pain meds. Day 3 and up, the pain, swelling and tenderness got better with time. No more pain meds were taken after day 3. I returned to work by day 7. Today is day 12 of being post op. I'm still wearing the compression garment 24 hours a day aside from when I'm taking a shower. The swelling is still unreal, and I'm ready for it to all go down so I can see the results. I know the swelling is bad because some of the shirts I could fit before in the arms no longer fit. Hopefully when swelling goes down, they'll be loose. My skin is still very tender as well, and I feel like under my arms there is hardness where I was lipo'd. My compression garment is uncomfortable as hell, but it's much looser now than it was when I first put it on after surgery. I'm a bit disappointed as of right now because I'm not seeing the results that I was hoping for. I wanted the back rolls gone, but they are still there for the most part. Also, I can't tell at this point that my arms are that much slimmer. I'm hoping when all the swelling subsides, there is a more dramatic improvement. I have started back on tracking my calories and when my work schedule allows, I'm going to incorporate working out back in to my schedule. Lightly, of course, to begin with. Updated on 3 Aug 2021: It's been about 18 days post op, and I had my post op appointment and complimentary treatments 3 days ago. Luckily my friend was willing to go with me, and we drove to ATL and back to ensure I could get my treatments. When Dr. Ball came in to check on my post op results, he said that I was still swollen quite a bit. He shared that swelling peaks at around day 10, and slowly subsides afterwards. Dr. Ball gave me recommendations to reduces the swelling more quickly over time. He told me to start wearing sweat wraps for my arms and lipo foams, as well as a compression garment with the breasts cut out for more compression to my back rolls. With Atlanta Specialty Lipo Clinic, two complimentary treatments are provided. I got a electric shock treatment on my arms so she could stimulate my nerves and reduce the numbness and tenderness. I also got a hot vibrating plate massage on my back. Both were mildly uncomfortable but ultimately soothing. I am seeing results though! I am excited about that because I can tell my arms have slimmed down quite a bit. They are actually looking quite small and my shirts are loose in the arms. I've switched to the smallest size compression garment I have (M/L), and it still has space in it in both the arms and waist. I can tell my waist is snatching in, but the only concern I have is that although my waist has been snatched in, but I want the rolls smoothed. Hopefully wearing the lipo foams will help quite a bit. I'll put up some before and after pictures at one month when I'm closer to my final results and more of the swelling has subsided.

So I recently had lipo done on my uppers and lower abs on March 12th with Dr. Ball. I had the surgery because after I had my one child, my stomach looked crazy and it was hard getting rid of the fat via diet and exercise. Posted are pictures of myself before the surgery. Updated on 17 Mar 2020: Now these picture are the two days following the procedure. Frankly, I don't see much of a difference at all. I'm hoping this is due to swelling, it's really hard to tell. I'm starting to feel resentful as if I wasted a bunch of money in efforts to get some of my self esteem back. I'm praying it'll look different a week or so from now. However, Dr. Ball only managed to get THREE pounds out of all of this stomach. That worries me a lot because I've had my arms done and got more fat out of that procedure. TBH the bed manners weren't quite there, they changed my "calming music" off to accommodate his musical preferences and when I was obviously in pain, I was not offered any laughing gas to ease my anxiety or pain. I rarely remember Dr. Ball talking to me throughout the procedure. The nurse was kind tho, she held my shoulder to I guess calm me while I was in pain. Idk why I wasn't offered laughing gas since it was evident my pain levels were kinda high but I guess it's whatever. I was laying on the bed after it was over and was given a hand held mirror to look at my stomach as I was laying down. It looked fine as I was laying down but when I sat up, the same exact fat and rolls were still there. I wasn't placed in front of a mirror to get the full view of my body, they just wrapped me up and sent me on my way. Now I'm back home feeling stupid because I paid over $5000 to look almost the same. Again, I'm praying that this is just extreme swelling but I know 3 pounds isn't sufficient. And the fact that my pain is fairly low is making me feel like this procedure could've been done more aggressively to get the results I paid for. I'm pretty embarrassed but I wanted to put this review up for women like myself, with a body type like mine, looking to get work done at this clinic. People are the front desk were really kind and super accommodating. I don't want this review to come off as bashful or anything. I just want to be as authentic as possible. It's just that $5000 is a lot to spend just to look the same. I'm aware of the loose skin and that's fine but there shouldn't be this much fat still in my stomach. Someone please give me some good advice. Is this common? What should I do? I don't want to have to do a touch up, this is so crazy to me and I'm just so upset. Sorry for the long drawn out review, I just feel like I owe it to the next women contemplating this procedure... I see a small change but not the type of change you would expect $5000 to make. Again, this could very well be swelling and I could be eating my words a week from now. But as of right now, I'm upset and embarrassed. Updated on 21 Mar 2020: Here are the pictures I meant to post with my previous update. Updated on 21 Mar 2020: Sooooo, after my initial freak out I decided to get proactive. So I contacted someone to do post op massages. Terrified because I know it’s just more pain. She suggested I get the following items: Abdominal board (Dr. Ball highly suggested this as well for best results) Lipo foam Dry brush Lymphatic Drainage Drops (apparently this is a thing) Water pills Liver pills I’m posting some current pictures I took this morning. I still feel like I look the same but you know how that goes, I’m gonna be my hardest critic. And hearing others say they don’t see a difference makes me die alil on the inside. However, I will keep it pushing, remain patient and optimistic. I’ll update after my first massage :-/ Side note: ATL Lipo provides two complimentary treatments that are aimed at bettering my results and addressing loose skin, so I’m thankful for that for sure. We’ll see where we are in 3 months! Another side note: I feel like my underwear in the pictures make it hard to see any chance, if any. I’ll take more pictures without the undies later on.

I had a 360 lipo in September, 2019. I am almost three months post op. I do see some results but continue to feel numbing in my stomach, back and flank area. I have reduced wearing the full body compression for one month now, and wear only trainers. I have lots of bloating, stinging and my stomach area is lopsided. Dr. Ball did inform me that the area below my breasts may still protrude out and so it looks like I am poking out up top and gets slimmer going down. It’s ugly. Also one week after my surgery I was having a lot of swelling and pain. I went in and he was so dismissive after my exam. It was like he scoffed at my stomach and as I tried to ask him questions regarding the swelling and pain, he was SO, SO dismissive. I felt terrible, as if I had done something wrong. I had to go out on the internet and hear on Real Self to actually find out what was happening with my body post op! I have always had bloating after I eat, so I can expect that but what bothers me most is if I don’t wear compression or a trainer you can still see my stomach protruding, as if I did not have the surgery at all. This was a huge financial obligation, and I chose Atlanta Lipo b/c I admired Dr. Cole’s work, but b/c they had not worked with the financing company I was using I guess they gave it to Dr. Ball. What upsets me about that, is that when I went back for my one week check in they had the brochures in the lobby for the financing company! I was like wow, you give me crappy service that I paid for and the doctor treats me like I did something wrong to cause my surgery to go wrong but yet you are building a relationship with the new finance company. They offered me a few free services in my package. I went to the massage and it was not the same lymphatic massages I was paying for. She used a machine and it only made me hurt worse. Then they asked me to come back to do another firming treatment. Seriously, after spending $8K I wanted my doctor to discuss with me what went wrong (his only comment was “you seen how flat you were when I was done”....uhm, I was heavily sedated, laying on my back, I really can’t say if I was flat or not. All I know is that pretty much relied on the many woman out here who have experienced similar post surgery complications. I still have hard spots in my tummy area, but I self-massage and drink Arnica tea to reduce the hardness.

I had lipo 360 and a BBL with Dr. Ball. From my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this clinic. You can get far better results at other places for significantly cheaper. I paid $11,251 to only have 1400cc removed from my upper abs, lower abs, flanks, and waist COMBINED (more could’ve been removed via lipo. I gained almost 30 lbs to do this surgery) and slightly less than 600cc placed in each cheek. I came out of surgery with literally the same butt I had going in. Other clinics are far more aggressive, remove significantly more with lipo, lipo MORE areas for the price, and put more in each cheek (example: Mia Aesthetics placing like 1000cc in each cheek). If you’re looking for a significant difference then this is not the place for you. I regret choosing this clinic as I literally have nothing to show for $11,251 but a swollen belly, the same hip dips and flat butt, and tears of disappointment. I expressed my dissatisfaction with my doc and was essentially told that I would have to do another BBL because apparently “BBL’s aren’t a one and done thing”. You can get the results you want with ONE bbl, just not here as they clearly just want more money. He’s a nice guy but I feel that my concerns were brushed off simply because “HE” felt we had good results....Nevermind the fact that how he feels is irrelevant because it isn’t his body. I left my post op appointment in tears. If you want a REAL BBL where you actually get a butt, don’t go here. Don’t make the mistake that I made by choosing this place.Apart from this, I’m also an ICU nurse with over 4 years of ICU experience. At the end of my surgery, my nurse was getting post op vitals. I was hypotensive and symptomatic (nauseous, dizzy, light headed, struggling to stand up etc). My nurse kept rechecking my BP and it continued to drop. At the third check it was like 77/40. She told me she wasn’t going to let me go home that way (as she shouldn’t!) so she went and got I guess the P.A or charge nurse? I’m not sure what the lady’s title is honestly. We’ll go with P.A. The P.A. was clearly in a rush to get me out of the room and get another patient in. She had me lay down and called Dr. Ball to report that I was NAUSEOUS. NOT THAT I WAS HYPOTENSIVE, BUT THAT I WAS NAUSEOUS and asked if he wanted to come give me something IV for nausea. She rechecks my BP with me laying down and with MY ARM BENT/FLEXED and gets 101/something. Any nurse knows, a flexed arm is an inaccurate BP. She’s like “oh look, 101/whatever. Let me write that down as my final vitals”, completely disregards the THREE low BP readings before that, chucks it up to that fact that I was standing when those three low BPs were taken (mind you, orthostatic hypotension is transient and you don’t get low BPs after standing for 10 minutes). She then hurries me out to my mom’s truck so fast that she forgot to even give me all of my belongings (another nurse brings my glasses out to the truck). Mind you, I was still so dizzy that I was stumbling! I understand that they operate on a tight schedule, but it should never compromise patient safety. Luckily my mom is a nurse and so am I. But I was also hypotensive when I got home with a systolic in the low 80’s and a MAP in the 50’s. As a nurse, I also don’t feel this place is safe. As a nurse, I would never let a patient go home like that.

Proceed with CAUTION and ask a lot of questions. I am giving four starts because I thought Dr. Ball was compassionate and kind during my consultation. I want to be fair to him, as he was professional and has a very good bedside manner. However, two of the office staff, the surgical tech and office manager were behaving like bullies. They tried to intimidate me and make decisions about my medical care that is not within their scope. Needless to say, i cancelled my procedure and will be taking my business elsewhere. I much rather walk away from $500, than invest another $11K with these folks. Great Dr., awful back office and surgical staff. Proceed at your own risk.

Im ready for smaller breasts!!! I am 5"3 and weigh 145, I have always been big chested all my life since I was 13! I currently wear a 36D but this bra is too small! I was told I am bigger, like a DD! I have severe back pain due to arthitis in back and spine plus nerve damage in legs! The weight of my breasts weigh me down so much I can't hardly do nothing in my daily life. I can't exercise much and when I go to a store, I can't walk too long due to back pain and neck pain. I have a curve In my back due to the weight of my big breasts, I wasn't aware of this until I went to physcial therapy for 8 weeks. They helped me a lot with exercises and with my pain. I have to sleep with a heating pad and use a tens unit when I hurt in my back and legs. I pray this surgery will change my life! I'm excited!! Updated on 13 Nov 2014: I'm very anxious and nervous at the same time for tomorrow. I can't wait to hurry and get this pain gone. I will have updates tomorrow evening when I get back. It's along drive there so going to be a long day. Updated on 15 Nov 2014: Well I went for my preop and originally back in Aug when I first went for a consultation, I met with a different surgeon, Valenzuela. He recently got fired and I met with surgeon Ball yesterday instead that took over his practice. I felt so much better with him than other dr. He spent an hour with us talking about the procedure, joking around with us and he is very knowledgable. My surgery now is Jan 8! I about cried because I planned this for 3 months but the good Lord worked it out where I had this better surgeon instead of one that double booked appointments. I found out the old surgeon had me down last the day of my original surgery and get this, he was doing 6 surgeries before me!!! Dr Ball said that was very unprofessional of him to book all these surgeries for how long they take and I happen to be last. I am thankful The Lord worked it out for me to have a better skilled surgeon that takes time with patients and does not book appointments like that. When I go for mine Jan 8, I am the last one but he has small procedures before me so he won't be tired and in a hurry. I can't believe that other dr did people that way, who knows what shape I would of been in. I am sad but again I have to think I am in better hands with dr Ball. He is so down to earth and came from Maryland. Updated on 18 Nov 2014: My back and legs has hurt me so bad the last 2-3 days! I have cried alittle because of delay in surgery and how I could have this pain away from the surgery that got delayed. I know the good Lord has it delayed for a reason and I know because I have this awesome dr taking care of me now besides the old one. I am getting myself together now and praying everyday! Thanks for everyone's support on this website, it means a lot and someone to talk to. I can't be down in the dumps about this, I just wish my pain would go away and I can get my life back. Updated on 27 Dec 2014: Now if nothing happens, Jan 8 is very close! I am very excited for this surgery and I pray it helps me. I want to get my life back and get better. I really want to go back to college and be a physical therapy assistant but it's in Gods hands what will happen with my health. Thanks for everyone's posts and support! Updated on 12 Jan 2015: I had my surgery Jan 8, 2015! I was out of it all day long so I don't remember much! I took the bandages off today (Jan 12,2015) I couldn't believe the difference already I am having in my body, it's crazy! So far I already don't have pain in my neck, shoulders and back. I am very careful cause the stitches and I don't want to over due nothing. I still can't take a shower till I go to the dr Wednesday and he sees about taking out some stitches. I am so thankful I was able to have this surgery to help my health and I can get healthy and fit. I will post pics later as I can put some on. Updated on 27 Jan 2015: I am feeling like a new person sincey surgery! I had a great caring dr and my neck and shoulders are a lot better! My arthitis is still there but nothing like it was before my reduction. I'm so happy so far with the results and I still have a lot of soreness! I am using scar oil now and palmers lotion. I was taking the arnica Montana and no bruising what so ever!!!! The dr was impressed from that. I posted a picture from 2 weeks!
