I love my experiences with Dr Atkins. I was looking for a more natural approach to anti-aging and loved the idea of using my own plasma to help generate collagen and plump my skin. I also love micro needling and saw immediate improvement.

Dr. Atkins has injected my lips, cheeks and chin area beautifully with filler. She has injected me with Botox around my eyes, in my forehead, my nose, above my lips and in my chin. She has corrected my lips when they were poorly done by someone else. She understands the complex anatomy of the face which secures amazing, natural results. Dr Atkins gentle and caring bedside manner is very calming and her skill and intelligence is beyond reassuring.

I hadn’t been in for a few years but came back to the new facility & newer staff. The staff made me feel so comfortable & the treatments they offer are incredible! I live 2 hours away but I will never go any where else!

She won’t steer you in a direction that isn’t realist to your own expectations. I love the fact CEC also has two satalite offices; one in Waterville and one in Lewiston. However, even if it’s more convenient to go to one of the satalite locations, you must check out their brand new center in Portland! Because Dr. Atkins is the best provider in Maine, it allows them to offer multiple specials every month making it more affordable! Maine is very fortunate to have Dr. Atkins and her staff!

I had seen other providers before finding Dr. Maria Atkins and her team of professionals 20 years ago. I feel fortunate to have found such a knowledgeable, skilled and empathic team of professionals to address severe acne scars, hypo & hyper pigmentation and the overall health and look of my skin. The medical care I have recieved has been unsurpassed.

I have been to multiple providers for various procedures including Botox, fillers, IPL, etc. I have never had such an amazing experience as I did today getting filler and Botox with Dr. Atkins. Not only does it look fantastic it barely hurt! She truly knows what she is doing and I will never allow anyone else near my face!

I was looking for fuller lips and was instructed what was the best way to go about it. She was very kind and honest. I was happy and would like to go even more aggressive next time. She made me very at ease. After I had a small reaction to the numbing cream, they got me right back in and I had a prescription filled that cleared it right up. My skin was a little sensitive to the cream but reacted well to the jervaderm. I was excited I would be able to have the treatment again.

Based on my skin, Dr. Atkins recommended photo dynamic therapy to target sun damage, fine lines and improve blotchy pigmentation. We started with a microdermabrasion treatment, then two applications applied to the skin. After the 2 or so hours for absorption, the light source exposure lasted 15 minutes. I stayed out of the light for 2 full days and at home for approximately 10 days. Redness and peeling. Uncomfortable with stinging and burning and not nice to look at. But the at home wait time was truly worth it! Smoother, clearer and brighter skin. I had the procedure done again in 2017. Since that first session with Dr. Atkins, I have had botox and juvaderm fillers, but that is another review!

I contacted Dr. Atkins at the Cosmetic Enhancement Center based on a recommendation from a friend. Dr. Atkins discussed my skin issues and made recommendations based on my needs. I have been to her 4 times, twice for photo dynamic therapy, and twice for botox and juvaderm prodecures. Wonderful bedside manner and a true professional in her field. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Atkins is truly amazing at what she does.. Her experience & her expertise speak for itself, but how much she cares about her patients speaks volumes about the genuine person she is.. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my face. She's the best there is!
