Great Results from a Doctor I Trust

I had a great and smooth experience with Dr.Pryor. I felt my concerns were heard and I was paid attention to by all staff. My initial consult was for buccal fat pad removal and chin liposuction but Dr.Pryor suggested we instead do some cheek fat liposuction instead of buccal fat for more prominent results. I see such a difference and feel great with his change and opinion of a different...

Best experience - so excited about my results

The downtime for me was 2 days, and only because of swelling and redness, not due to discomfort. Dr.Riccio treated my face, neck, chest and hands, and at one week out I’m so excited about my results! Hyperpigmentation, texture, pore size a...

Q: Do my implants looks asymmetric & should I have them corrected? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. RiccioFebruary 7, 2024

A: Hi kluv89,

Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, it does appear as though your left implant has "settled" more than your right implant. While it is normal for buttock implants to settle at different rates in the first 6 months or so, you do appear to have more asymmetry than expected. Options for correction generally involve reoperation to adjust one or both pockets to achieve a more symmetric result. Please reach out to your surgeon for a thorough in person evaluation. Hope this helps!

Q: Would I benefit more from implants or BBL? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. RiccioFebruary 7, 2024

A: Hi Balderdash,

Thank you for your question. Based on your preoperative photographs and depending on your specific goals. you have multiple options. Right now, you would be a good candidate for 360 liposuction with BBL. However, if you lose 20lbs, you may not have enough donor fat to achieve a dramatic change if that is what you want. Regardless of weight loss, you would be a good candidate for buttock implants with fat grafting to your hip dips. For more information, please reach out to a board eligible or board certified plastic surgeon for detailed preoperative assessment.

Q: Can someone have two buttock implants, first intramuscular and second sub-fascial? (Read description)
Answered by Dr. RiccioFebruary 7, 2024

A: Hi Sincere280925,

Thank you for your question. In general, it would be inadvisable to place 2 implants on top of each other. If you have intramuscular implants and desire more projection, the best approach is to have implant upsizing 6-12 months after your initial procedure. This gives the tissues and pocket time to stretch and relax, allowing for a larger implant to be accommodated in the same plane while still allowing for closure of the intramuscular pocket. Hope this helps!

Q: Breast lift & liposculpting: 2 procedures in 1. Any disadvantages?
Answered by Dr. RodriguezFebruary 2, 2024

A: Hi-
Thank you for submitting your question. There are no real disadvantages. The only possible risk is a chance of injury to the blood supply to the nipple and areola. I'm sure your plastic surgeon will take great care to minimize this risk. I always recommend discussing any concerns you have with your board certified plastic surgeon.
Best of luck with your procedure!

Q: Breast lift with fat transfer - Can these be done at the same time?
Answered by Dr. RodriguezFebruary 2, 2024

A: Hi-
Thank you for your question. A breast lift with fat transfer at the time of surgery is something we perform on a frequent basis. The areas of fat transfer to enhance the appearance of the breasts are discussed with patients prior to surgery. The fat transfer is performed to enhance the appearance of the breasts without increasing undo tension to the surgical sites. Therefore, it should not increase the width of the scar. A breast lift with fat transfer can be performed safely at the same time.
Wishing you the best.
Dr. Rodriguez
