Enbloc Capsulectomy W/Lift

I am 4 months post op after Dr Sood did a full enbloc capsulectomy with a lift. Removing 32-year-old ruptured silicone gel implants. I knew nothing about BII (Breast Implant Illness) before a friend had her implants removed & introduced me to Dr. Sood. Being a former model & body builder, it was very hard for me to accept having to remove my implants & not being able to imagine myself without boobs. Dr. Sood and Laura Bowden changed my way of thinking and got me out of my own head. They took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, even gave me other groups to be able to do my own research.
My husband & I flew from Las Vegas NV to Rockford, IL to Dr Sood facility. The facility is truly amazing, warm and comfortably inviting. The entire staff was wonderful and very patient and welcoming with us. This surgery for me personally was the worst surgery I have ever had as far as pain and discomfort. It was so worth having the surgery and I do not regret it for a minute. I feel like a 16-year-old girl that just realized she has pretty perky boobs. Dr. Sood is an artist who has an amazing eye for detail and perfection. His bedside manner is amazing, very easy to talk to. Anyone looking for the best surgeon for this procedure should definitely meet and talk to Dr Sood. I am extremely happy with the outcome of my surgery, my boobs are perfect, my scares are healing nicely, my self esteem and love for myself is back.
My only issue with this whole procedure is when trying to get help for insurance reimbursement it is very hard. Most of us can’t afford this surgery without saving, borrowing or pulling from 401K. I understand it is in their contract but if this changed it would put his business over the top, he would be the best in the world. If you are thinking of having this surgery stop thinking and talk to Dr Sood and to Laura you will not regret your decision.
