Hi everyone! I just want to start off by saying this site helped me tremendously. I am 21 years old, no kids, 95-100 lbs and I was a size 32 A. I was very flat chested and self conscious about it so I don’t really have any before photos but I will attach one. I was unsure about what size to get, since I didn’t want it to look “unnatural” for my small body/narrow frame. I decided on silicone 335 cc Mentor High profile Xtra. Low or moderate profile would not have worked for my body type, and would’ve given me side boob. I was nervous about them being too small or too big, but I’m very happy with them. I had my surgery on September 4, 2020. Attached photos are 1st day post op and one before photo in a bathing suit.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I chose to go under the muscle. I also didn’t go too in detail on my surgery day. I am sharing this experience for those like me who have never undergone a major surgery/anesthesia before this. The IV is put in your hand so it can be furthest away from your body during surgery. The first attempt, a valve was hit. The second attempt was my lower forearm and I did pass out from that. I have never passed out before nor do I have a history of having issues with getting blood taken. I do think it was solely because of not having anything in my stomach - however if you have passed out before giving blood definitely make sure to tell the nurse ahead of time! That was the most difficult part of surgery day for me. Everything else was a breeze and my last memory is laying on the operating table. When I woke up, I was very groggy & it was hard to keep my eyes open. The pain was bearable, mostly tightness and feeling hard to breathe. Dr Pearl and his surgical team were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone in the Savannah/surrounding area. For the first couple of days, the pain was as expected. I definitely thought it would be worse then it actually was. I took my meds around the clock with soft food and ginger ale / water and did not get nauseous. The pain was worst getting up/down, and it was hard to not use my arms. Sleeping upright is no fun either. The worst pain for me was in the morning after the medicine was out of my system. I did ice immediately after surgery for 72 hours. I had a lot of fear and anxiety going into it, but overall I’m very happy. I did start to get a burning sensation in my left boob but I was told that is good and my nerves are trying to reconnect/weren’t damaged. I have full sensation of both my boobs and nipples, they are just still tight. I am advised to wear the strap (picture attached) right under my armpits to help the implants drop. I would love to answer any questions and help anyone worried about going too small or big! Thanks for reading!

Finally off the pain meds! I was taking extra strength Tylenol. Pain is very minimal besides soreness and random tightness/burning sensations. My doctor also recommended Colace to help get things back to normal per say. I am still wearing my surgical Velcro “strap” but take it off when I need a break. I found that you could see my nipples while wearing my surgical bra, so I decided to go sports bra shopping. I was looking for a front zip up bra, which I did find at Dicks Sporting Goods. But, I also found these super comfy bras at TJ Maxx. They are Daskin Laser Cut Lounge Bra, I will attach a photo of the tag. They are silky material and do not irritate my incisions at all! They also have just enough padding to cover my nipples. Just thought I would share Incase anyone else was in the market for a more comfy post surgical bra! Best wishes and hope everyone else is doing well!

Hi everyone, I want to start off by saying for me everyday of recovery is completely different than the other. I am one week post op and pretty much pain free other than some soreness in the mornings. I think I stopped my pain meds on Day 4ish and just finished off my antibiotic. I commented somewhere below when I switched to Tylenol. But, I haven’t had ANY pain medication, not even Tylenol, for 2 days! So overall, that part of recovery, I’m feeling great. On the other hand, I began experiencing bloating, stomach pains, and constipation yesterday. I took a small amount of Milk of Magnesia since I am small, but I’m not sure it did much. This pain lasted until this morning when I took 3 capsules of Colace and drank a full 8 oz glass of water. I did mention taking Colace while on my other medications, but once I stopped those I stopped it, and I think that was a mistake for me personally. I had the best results with Colace, over the Milk of Magnesia. Everyone is different, but the Anesthesia & Pain medications can both cause constipation & bloating, so that’s why I was advised by my doctor to only take the pain medication for the least amount of days possible. Also, if you were prescribed a muscle relaxer like myself, after a couple days those should only be taken when having a muscle spasm (very tight feeling in one area). I’ve found it’s also super important to stay hydrated and be active/walk around as much as possible! I feel like my breasts change everyday, Sometimes feel big and sometimes smaller. I will probably just start updating weekly from now on. Thanks for reading & Stay healthy everyone!

I don’t have much of an update for you guys since my post yesterday, but I am feeling so much better today and completely back to normal diet/stomach wise. Finally got out the house today which helps tremendously I think, even if just for a little while.
I am loving the way they look in a sports bra. This is a size medium and fits snug! I’m very happy with the size I chose and can’t believe how much they continue to change so quickly.

Today I had another follow up appointment with my doctor to make sure everything was still going as it should. He says my incisions are looking great and that I shouldn’t worry about the scarring. My sutures aren’t completely dissolved yet, but slowly getting there. My next appointment is in 2 weeks, unless I need another suture or something happens before then. Today I also learned massaging, but I’m not sure how to feel about. I feel like I’m worried about messing them up or doing it incorrectly, so I am going to do some research on it. I also wanted to see if anyone on here had any tips for correctly doing the massaging. My implants are still sitting high (but less tight) which does cause some uncomfort when massaging. I was also instructed to wear my Velcro strap (to keep them dropping) as much as possible until my next appointment. My left one is dropping slightly faster than the right, but that is completely normal. Luckily my incisions haven’t been too itchy but I do get a weird itching sensation on my left side boob. It feels like an itch, but if I scratch the feeling doesn’t go away. Again, normal and it is my nerves and also from the skin being stretched. I am just happy to have all feeling, although my nipples are a little sensitive at times.
I am very happy with them, feeling very confident, and actually taking advantage of them while they are still high (gives the effect of a push up bra, which is nice since I can’t wear a regular bra yet!) Thanks for reading!

Hey everyone! I don’t have much more of an update since my last but I did want to attach some more progress pictures for you all. Feeling very confident, as you can probably tell from photos. They are getting softer to the touch, and easier to push together. My nipples are still sensitive to the touch at times.
I also noticed they were bigger/stretched and seemed to be hard all the time before. They seemed to have gone back to normal size and are no longer hard all the time. I am still having random “itching” sensations that I mentioned previously. I am finally getting used to them being there. It’s definitely hard for me to get dressed for work with just a sports bra underneath. I did buy some “Nippies” off amazon to wear with dresses / white tube top I am wearing in the photos. I was worried about them hurting my nipples but they didn’t. If yours are sensitive I would recommend putting bandaids over them. I was also sure not to put the sticky part anywhere near my incision area since it’s still healing. One side of stitches has completed dissolved and the other has almost. I do still have some discomfort still when sleeping on my side or moving my arms a certain way. I also can’t crack my lower back which is aggravating, lol. If anyone has any tips on lower back pain I would appreciate it, as I am sitting in a computer chair most days at work and can’t really stretch like I want to without having some discomfort. I will of course bring this up to my doctor when I see him next week. I will update you all next week after my next appointment!
