When I got there I was nervous. The staff advice me at pre-op my doctor usually runs late, but that day he was on time. With all the Q&A from nurses and the anesthesiologist it lasted about 30 minutes. I was sitting in a recliner just chilling getting my IV and within few minutes I was waking up lol. Everything went so fast! I stayed overnight with 2 nurses at my side. I woke up about 8:20pm in and out. They told me around midnight they will get me to start walking around with a walker. I did that, they kept me warm with warm blankets and a heater. Hands down the best staff ever. The nurses stayed on time with my meds, they made sure I was comfortable. I ate my crackers and drank either water or sprite. My tummy tuck, muscle repair and hernia surgery was all done local in my city 20 minutes from my home. Love my Dr Pearl and his staff.

Pre-op
mj816December 30, 2020
Did my pre-op yesterday. It went very well basically going over my medical history and what to expect the day of surgery. My surgery will be a drain-less tube and the 1st 24 hours I will be in the hospital with two nurses. I will have a full body compression garment on with an open crotch area. They are giving me only one medication which is opioids. Hopefully everyone should know what opioids are... Additional information for care before. I have shower with dial soap, no dairy products, no meats only a liquid diet before surgery. And finally nothing to eat after midnight and arrive at 6:15am day of surgery.
