I had an overall great experience. My first interaction was with Emily who was part of my initial consultation. She was so lovely and made me comfortable with the process. I initially requested an eyebrow lift and blepharoplasty due to the skin sinking down into my eye view. However, once Dr. Robinson came in he suggested I just do the brow lift first. He mentioned we could always revisit a...
Dr. Robinson is truly the best facial plastic surgeon. I would not trust anyone else to touch my face. I had a complicated Rhinoplasty done with Dr. Robinson some years ago and was very pleased with the results. However, with the passage of time, one small area looked more elevated than the rest. I returned to Dr. Robinson recently and he gladly made the correction to help me achieve a look I...
Renee did my Halo treatment and although it was pricey, the results are well worth the short down time and expense. She is incredibly thorough and knows more about skin care and lasers than any medical professional I have ever met. I had a consult and a Visia facial assessment report, and Renee determined that because of my age (54), sun damage, skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles; the halo...
I've had slight eye bags my entire life, but after the age of 35 I've noticed that my eye bags had become more prominent, and my cheeks a little deflated, making me look tired. I've gone to other doctors and gotten Voluma before but they'd always place it in my lower or side cheek area and had no solutions for making my eye bags less prominent. As a matter of fact, after the volumna, the...
RUN. Save your thousands and take it somewhere else. They will tell you not to expect "Beverly Hills" type results. What you should expect is some back woods, total lack of symmetry, over promising and under delivering from the person who does the fillers - Michelle Giglio. RUN and DON'T BLOW A BUNCH OF MONEY ON A HIGHLY ASYMMETRIC RESULT. When you go back for symmetry, Michelle will...
A: Good morning,
From what I can see, in this photo, you appear to be young. There is always room for a little tweak though, and maintaining is much easier than correcting. My primary suggestion is to restore a bit of the lost volume in the upper and mid face, to restore balance. You have great cheeks, which will help keep you looking young, however, as you age, the areas adjacent to the cheeks can hollow out, and that appears to be happening in your case. I would start with adding filler, or Sculptra, to your temples and the the cheeks, just below the cheek bones, to soften these transitions. This will also give a lifting effect. Lastly, I would suggest adding a tiny bit of filler to your upper lip. While having a larger bottom lip is anatomically correct for a Caucasian female, your bottom lip is significantly larger, so adding a little to the top lip would give a softer, more balanced appearance. Hope this helps. Good luck!
A: Hi there! You are absolutely beautiful, but I understand your concern and it is a valid one. You may have always had these creases, to an extent, but in looking at your photos, it looks like you are beginning to lose some of your mid-face volume, which will only make the creases, or nasolabial folds (NLFs), worse. This is also causing you to hollow a bit under your eyes. I recommend first having a bit of filler injected into your cheeks, to replace a little of the lost volume there. This will in turn, help to pull the nasolabial folds up a bit, and lighten up the under eyes. Once this is done, you can address the lower face directly, by injecting a little filler into the NLFs, and the chin for a little more projection. I would advise against ignoring the cheeks and moving straight to the NLFs, as this will only make the cheeks look more flat, and the area around the mouth more round. You are really nipping this in the bud though, so just a little will be needed in each of those areas. Good luck and I hope this helps!
A: Hi Ari! Broken capillaries, also called telangiectasias, are genetic in nature. As long as you aren't consuming large amounts of alcohol or being exposed to heat prior to your injections, there is little you can do to prevent them from developing. I have seen this happen with certain patients of mine. From an injector standpoint, I am very cautious, using smaller needles rather than the ones packaged with the filler, as they are usually large. Being very gentle and injecting slowly is key. In addition, limiting the amount of fanning technique reduces the chance of development. Also using ice prior to the injections helps to constrict the vessels, preventing their formation. I hope this is helpful!
All the best,

A: Hi Callie! Since the muscle around the eye is circular, when the lateral part is consistently treated, the part of the muscle that is under the eye can often try to compensate, increasing in activity and creating wrinkles underneath the eye, as in your situation. Botox can be placed there, 1-2 units , known as a "jelly roll" injection. However, not all injectors may perform the treatment. In my experience, patients are very happy with the results of a jelly roll injection. You should look for an advanced injector in your area.
All the best,
Michelle Giglio, PA-C, MMS
A: Hi there! I'm so sorry you are having this issue after your Botox treatment. You can absolutely have these lines treated. I typically inject 1-3 units per side, and it takes care of this problem nicely. My suggestion is that you move on and find another injector that is willing to treat this area. Good luck!
