Dr. William Wallace is a plastic surgeon with 14 years of experience. As the owner of Fleming Island Plastic Surgery near Jacksonville, Florida, he performs thousands of aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries every year. Dr. Wallace’s primary areas of expertise are breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, and full mommy makeovers. He also offers facial plastic surgery, including rhinoplasty, facelifts, and a wide range of nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedures, including Botox and dermal fillers. Double board-certified plastic surgery and general surgery, Dr. Wallace combines artistry with technique, providing each patient with the individualized result that’s best suited to their desires. Dr. Wallace received both his bachelor’s degree and medical degree at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He then completed his general surgery residency and simultaneously obtained a master’s degree in medical science from Ohio State University. Dr. Wallace remained in Columbus to complete his plastic surgery residency. He joined the faculty at Ohio State University as an assistant professor, training residents in post-bariatric-surgery body contouring, cosmetic surgery, and reconstructive surgery for complex facial trauma. Following his 12 years of education and training, Dr. Wallace moved to Jacksonville, where he opened the Level 2 Trauma Center at Orange Park Medical Center. Dr. Wallace is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery – General. As an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Wallace stays at the forefront of emerging techniques. He is also a member of the Greater Jacksonville Society of Plastic Surgeons and holds medical privileges in major hospitals in Clay, Duval, and Saint John’s counties. Named one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers’ Research Council of America since 2011, Dr. Wallace has received multiple honors and distinctions throughout the years. He was recognized as a Top Doctor on RealSelf and selected as one of Jacksonville Magazine’s Top Doctors. When he’s not providing quality care to patients in his private practice, Dr. Wallace serves his community. Fleming Island Plastic Surgery currently collaborates with the Quigley House, a center that works with women who have suffered domestic violence and sexual assault. Because many women come to the shelter with only the clothes on their backs, Fleming Island Plastic Surgery initiated a program to donate gently used bras from patients who have recently changed breast sizes. Dr. Wallace is proud to assist the women at this remarkable center.
