Are you a patient of Alfredo Hoyos, MD?

Show More I will write a mid review at one month and a final review at six months post op.
Show More This Doctor is one of the best of the best no doubt. But his international assistant is a nightmare. She doesnt reply emails after months and the dr says one thing and she says another thing. Very unprofessional and unorganized. I had to find another dr. It was a shame.

Show More Not only did Dr. Hoyos write the book on liposuction, he is an extraordinary artist. During my trip to Colombia one of his very courteous staff members conveyed to me; “Dr. Hoyos wanted to be and artist, but his dad encouraged him to go to medical school to become a doctor.” Dr. Hoyos is the perfect combination of true artistry and medical skill; he is a craftsman! Dr. Hoyos is known as the Michelangelo of plastic surgery because he is an incredible sculptor. A quote, on the wall behind Dr. Hoyos' desk reads, "I saw the bird in the stone, so I set him free." Dr. Hoyos pays attention to detail; after all, it is the little things that make his results phenomenal and tailor-made. Not only is Dr. Hoyos an incomparable surgeon, he is very kind, friendly, professional, and compassionate with a great bedside manner and speaks fluent English. Before and after my surgery I stayed at Dr. Hoyos’ hotel where his staff provided excellent care and I felt very safe. Throughout my surgery the head nurse stayed with me at the hospital. My trip to Colombia was pleasant. My results by Dr. Hoyos are outstanding and world-class! I sing the praises of Dr. Hoyos and would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about plastic surgery.

Show More He was absolutely fantastic. Has a great bed side manner and obviously very experienced. I couldn't recommend him enough. A true professional in every sense! I am not going to lie, the recovery for the first few days ( 6) was hard. But I had a nurse with me 24/7 who was brilliant. I am currently one week after my operation and feel much better. I would recommend getting the intravenous pain relief that you take to the spa and give a continuous measures dose of Analgesia. Columbia is a long way to come for surgery from UK a London, but worth it 100 per cent!! I heard he is going to be operating out of Barcelona soon for Europeans and UK, that would have been a better option for me, but never mind, I am so glad I have done it!! The only problem is the after care after you leave the country. I now have a problem 6/7 weeks post surgery and the staff don't get back to me, don't do what they say they are going to do and I feel really let down. I am concerned about the end results and have a problem but I just feel ignored. This is the problem I suppose with going for surgery abroad. If you have an issue afterwards then it's tough luck! They just don't seem to care once you are gone.
