Alexander Anzarut, MD

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Anzarut. Approximately two months ago, he performed a full deep plane facelift on me—a complex, seven-hour procedure. I had researched Dr. Anzarut extensively over the course of several years, knowing that I would eventually pursue a facelift. Both my local cosmetic clinic and the studio where I receive cosmetic tattoos recommended him, which further reinforced my decision. My initial contact with Dr. Anzarut was via email, inquiring about his scope of practice and the associated costs. His reply was exceptionally detailed and comprehensive, providing me with information I had not even realized I needed. About a year and a half ago, I scheduled a consultation, during which he once again demonstrated his thoroughness. He spent nearly two hours with me, carefully explaining every aspect of the deep plane facelift and answering all of my questions with remarkable patience and clarity. As the procedure date approached, we corresponded several more times to refine my goals and establish realistic outcomes. It was during these discussions that he recommended a chin implant. Having always felt that my chin was weak—a sentiment echoed by others in the cosmetic field—I agreed to proceed with his suggestion. In retrospect, I am profoundly grateful that I did. That single recommendation revealed not only his technical expertise but also his refined eye for balance, symmetry, and contemporary standards of beauty. In the weeks following surgery, Dr. Anzarut remained in consistent communication to monitor my recovery and ensure that everything was progressing smoothly. At subsequent follow-up appointments, we discussed minor refinements, which he had previously explained might be necessary and could be addressed in-office after the initial healing period. Now, two months post-surgery, I am absolutely thrilled with the results. My appearance is not “overdone”—quite the opposite. Friends who are aware of my procedure remark that, rather than looking surgically altered, I appear refreshed, smoother, younger, healthier, more relaxed, and radiant. I would recommend Dr. Anzarut without hesitation and plan to undergo another facelift in 20 years’ time—provided he has not retired by then. This is a scary procedure to consider as this is your face. With Dr. Anzarut, you're in excellent hands.

Dr.Anzarut has been great from the beginning of my research to now. I am not 3.5 weeks post op. I feel like he truely cares about his patients and has answered all my questions in a timely matter. He gives you his personal number to contact him at any time during them early post operative day. That came in handy a few times and he never seemed annoyed when I would reach out. His after care and communication have gone beyond my expectations. I unfortunately don’t have the cutest belly button right now due to a surgical complication. That has caused me sone sadness. However, he is willing to fix that as soon as it’s safe to do so. Other than that I am loving my results so far. I can’t wait to see what it all looks like once the swelling continues to go down. Can’t thank him enough for the life changing surgery. Updated on 17 Mar 2024: Feel pretty depressed about my bellybutton at the moment. When I woke up I was told that my bellybutton was turning white when he sewed it down how he normally does. Meaning he thought it was lacking oxygen so he released some in the stitches which left me with a massive outie. Not joke it looks like a protruding cat butthole. I know he did what he knew was best in the moment I just wish things turned out differently for me. I’m now left feeling so self conscious and depressed about it. I got this surgery to feel confident in my skin but now I feel worse than I did before. He told me it will go down and go in as things settle but it may take 6-12 months for that improvement. There is NO WAY I can wait that long looking like this. We are hopefully going to talk about revising it at my next follow up. I’m hoping asap so I don’t have to spend another summer covered up. Updated on 17 Mar 2024: Just wanted to give a 4 week update. Still hating my bellybutton, and still keeping it covered. I can’t wait for my follow up in a couple of weeks to hopefully come up with a plan to fix this asap. I’m miserable about it. I feel like with plastic surgery we have an idea of what we want and think it’s going to be perfect right away. However, it doesn’t always pan out that way and that’s just part of it all. I do want to say that my incision is looking pretty good from the tummy tuck. The cut is thin and healing nicely. All the clips that he had glued on to keep the tension off my incision have fallen off. Which by the way, I loved the clips being on there. Nothing was able to rub on my cut and they held up for almost 4 weeks. I’m still sore in the spots he did lipo, or maybe I should say more of a tender feeling. I’m still pretty swollen and even more so by the end of the day. I have been doing daily walks and trying to get an average of 10,000 steps a day. I can’t wait to start going back to the gym to lift weight. Each day I feel like I’m getting back to my normal self. It’s not a sprint it’s a marathon.

I am a 29 year old female who has ALWAYS been unhappy with my neck and chin area, even back to my childhood it was very obvious I carried a lot of weight in my neck area. It didn't matter it I was 120lbs or 200lbs, I always had a double chin and extremely lax muscles in my neck (thanks genetics). Anyways, from the moment I had my consult with dr. Anzarut he made me feel comfortable and confident that he could get me the results I have always wanted. He wasn't pushy in any way and explained everything in great detail. I'm only 1 week post op and this procedure has literally changed my life.. I can actually look in the mirror now, I finally feel confident in my own skin! Even with all the swelling and bruising i still feel 10000x better about my appearance than I did before. I hardly have any pictures with my kids as I always hated the way my neck area looked, I just booked family photos for the first time! I can't thank you enough dr.Anzarut for everything you have done for me, this has literally changed my life!

So far, very pleased. I've had fat mounds form below my mouth that bothered me, so went in for small cannula liposuction. It's only been a few weeks and I already see results (apparently, it usually takes a few months). Dr. Anzarut is very skilled and careful -- as well as trustworthy and ethical. Makes sure to go over procedures with clients and what to expect, including any potential downsides. None of the risks associated with facial liposuction occurred -- bruising, temporary nerve weakness, or hardness in the treated area. You can see a little redness where the stitching was (for compression), but that's about it -- and that will go away. Dr. Anzarut cares about a good result for his patients. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I've included two before pictures and two after (one week and two weeks after).

My experience with Dr. Anzarut was an amazing one. He was very thorough, great communication and very professional. He provided me with great after care and gave me his cell number and told me to reach out any time. He was quick to respond to any messages and called to follow up in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I've gone to Dr. Anzarut to have a cyst looked at in my cheek... He's always taken his time explaining the complications of the operation and different options. I have subsequently asked him other questions about possible procedures and side effects. He surprised me two different times when he took time out of his weekend to call and discuss my concerns. Last year he even called on a long weekend! He loves what he does and the nuance involved in his profession. I think it comes through with his attention to detail and how he informs patients.

Dr. Anzarut is a professional, thorough and skilled plastic surgeon. He did an amazing job on my tummy tuck. I'm beyond thrilled with my results and will definitely be coming to him for future procedures I have planned. My scar at 3 months post op looks amazing and once the redness goes away I think it will be barely visible.

I'm one week post op from buccal fat removal and an upper lip lift with Dr. Anzarut, and while it's too early to tell what the final results will be, I'm happy that I chose him and expect to be pleased with my results. Dr. Anzarut is always available to answer questions I had and is very personable and laid back. As another reviewer said, he's conservative in his approach which is very important to me as I don't want to look unnatural or overdone. I trust him with my face and plan on using him for more facial rejuvenation procedures hopefully early next year. As for the procedures themselves, both took approx an hour under local anesthetic which was fine and I felt nothing other than a bit of pressure in my cheeks as he was removing the fat. My pain tolerance is fairly high (I think) but the prescription pain meds couldn't kick in fast enough by the time I got home and local anesthetic had wore off! Swelling was worse at 48 hours but it's getting better by the day. I slept propped up for the first 6 nights which helped too I think. The stitches for my lip lift have been removed and now I have surgical glue over the incision which should start to peel off over the next few days. I'm thankful that we have to wear masks in public because I can hide my face when I go out lol. Overall I'm very happy with my experience and will update my review once I've healed up and am able to see the final result :) Updated on 10 Feb 2021: I'm almost at the two month mark so thought I'd post an update as well as photos. I have a naturally round face so the buccal fat is less obvious than my lip lift, but that's what I wanted - it can also take a minimum of 3 months to see the final results. Unfortunately I did get an infection at two weeks post op which required two weeks of antibiotics and mouth rinse, but everything is fine now. I just knew something wasn't right as I could feel fluid building up in my cheek and it was becoming more swollen again, and you also know when your body is fighting an infection. I contacted Dr. Anzarut about it right away and he saw me the next day and said it was a good thing I came in to see him. He checked in with me daily (even on NY eve) for a few days until the antibiotics took effect in which was very nice - overall his aftercare has been amazing.

I had my initial consultation with Dr. Anzarut today, and found him to be very informative and friendly. He also doesn't try to oversell any procedure you don't need. He is conservative in his approach to surgery (only do what is necessary). I was very pleased and will be choosing to use him for my facial procedures as well as a bit of reconstructive work.

I’m 45 yrs old Mom of a 22 year old and a 9 year old. Also was 80-90 lbs heavier than I am now for 10 years after my first born so needless to say I had empty saggy breasts! We agreed on BA and a lift, however my PS likes to do the augmentation first then the lift 3-6 months after. I have healed well And no complications so far. I am only 16 days post op and other than they sit high and are effecting my armpits, lol.. I’m doing well for pain. Mine look weird still as I have droopy saggy boobs underneath my implants until the lift gets done and they drop and fluff of course. So hard to say how I feel yet. I feel like a body builder on top and and an old woman on the bottom, lol! Will keep you posted throughout my journey. Updated on 27 Aug 2019: Am 20 days post op. Still waiting on a lift in a few more months so am only half way done. Looks odd still as they are high and appear wide near my arm pits still, then the sagging extra tissue at the bottom for now. Hope this is normal at this stage Updated on 5 Sep 2019: Saw my PS today and happy to report everything looks good and healing well! Any concerns I had, were answered and am very pleased with my progress! Looking forward to the final results after my next surgery (lift) Thank you, Dr. Anzarut Updated on 19 Sep 2019: I’m now 6 weeks post op and although they’ve softened up a lot, they sit in my armpits still that I can’t shave my pits properly and have given me so much armpit fat I look ridiculous in any bra I wear still. I’m due for a lift in 3 months so I’m hoping this changes as I never had it like this before and the whole point of getting implants was so I could wear some shirts I couldn’t fit properly before and now I’m still in that same boat but for different reasons. i hope to god they drop and the side boob overhang goes down!! Anyone else have this?? Updated on 2 Dec 2019: Got home about an hour ago after having my second surgery which was the breast lift. As I posted before, was my augmentation done first. Very strange sensation to be wide awake and no sedation just frozen and getting surgery done. I’m very happy with the results from what I can see so far. I will post pictures once I’ve healed after a few months for final results. Updated on 2 Dec 2019: The most recent photo is the same day before and after of my breast lift done today under local anesthetic. No sedation so it was fully alert for the procedure. We will post in a few months once my stitches and scars have healed. Love how they’re sitting the nipple placement.
