5 out of 5 stars Botox
I have been Dr. Stallman's patient for 15 years and I am finally writing a long overdue testimonial. I drive from out of the area to see him whenever I feel my age is starting to show. I have access to plenty of plastic surgeons and dermatologist where I live but prefer to see him. Dr. Stallman has consistently given me great results making me look and feel younger. I always look natural and...

Dr. Stallman has dual training. He is a board certified ophthalmologist who then completed a fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery. As an oculofacial plastic surgeon, he is keenly aware of the impact that our eyes and face have on our outward appearance and is particularly sensitive to the delicateness of this area. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and is one of only a few hundred doctors in the United States who has qualified as fellow of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). It takes years of specialized training to safely perform procedures on the delicate tissues around the eyes and face. To master the specialty, Dr. Stallman began with an internal medicine internship followed by three years of eye surgery training after completing medical school. He then became board certified and completed extensive advanced oculofacial plastic surgery training, qualifying oral and written examinations and a scientific thesis. All this was required before being considered by his peers for fellowship in ASOPRS. Dr. Stallman is one of the few certified specialist of this nature on the Central Coast of California and has also enjoyed helping patients who come from neighboring areas such as Santa Barbara, Monterey, Fresno and Bakersfield.
1 out of 5 stars Eyelid Surgery
Dr. Stallman seemed to be great. He was very confident which came off slightly cocky, but he was friendly. He answered my questions and I felt somewhat at ease before the procedure. However, after the procedure I was not satisfied and looked worse than before and he did not offer to rectify the poor results of my upper/lower blepharoplasty that left me with some of the same issues plus severe wrinkling that was due to the procedure. I would not recommend him to my friends not only because the results were bad, but because he would not do anything to try to make it better. He didn't even offer me a discount to completely redo the surgery to remove the wrinkles I got (didn't have before at all) and he didn't even remove my hooded upper lids or under eye bags...He simply wanted to charge me full price for Botox. That was his solution. Definitely not what I paid for. His staff was very pleasant and friendly and my experience with them was great.
