Jennifer has always done an amazing job and had excellent suggestions for my specific needs. She is very skilled and is up to date on all of the latest techniques and improvements, I never feel as if I am being "sold" a treatment and appreciate all that she has to offer.

This office is amazing! I really enjoyed the doctor she’s very sweet. Down to earth, felt comfortable with my treatment. I was a little nervous because I never had micro needling done before and I am an olive skin tone. I had waited all these years because you’re usually told if you have any type of pigment in your skin that you should not do any of these treatments. This machine has The ability to go between bipolar and mono polar which apparently makes a big difference to be able to treat people with pigment. I can’t wait for number two and three

I went to see Dr. Armstrong to improve my skin and she gave me some NuTox. I have to say it's the best job of fillers I have ever had. My skin looks natural and I am very happy with the results. I have already referred several of my friends to her.

I have had 17 years of Cosmetic Experience and have owned my own business so I know what it takes to run a great office. I met Dr. Armstrong a year ago and have had the pleasure of getting a few treatments done with her. I was loyal to another office until I met her. The professionalism with her and her office not to mention her technique will keep me loyal for years! I have referred many people to her and they have all had the same positive experience as me. Dr. Armstrong was amazing. I get nervous before treatments and she talked me through it every step of the way. Very knowledgeable. She knows everything! She is the most caring doctor I have met. I know she treats celebrities but she treated me as if I were one. My results were amazing. All of my friends are asking where I went and I gladly send them to Dr. Armstrong.

I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I absolutely loved Dr. Armstrong ! She was so awesome honestly I don't think I've had such a pleasant experience in orange county and I have been getting laser treatments for over 10 years Her new resurfacing lifting and tightening approach that she does with a couple different machines is absolutely amazing and the best results I think I've ever had. Thank you so much Dr. Armstrong I feel like I look better than I have in years.

I only received a consultation with Jennifer Armstrong. The consultation fee was $150 which honestly was a waste and I am disappointed in my experience with her. I discovered Armstrong via instagram cause I did think some of the topics she was speaking about was of interest to me since I was looking to revise a botched facial fat transfer. When calling about a consultation, her office requires you to do an in person consultation if you live in SoCal which can be frustrating as it took me almost 2 hours to get down to her office. I did wait a while to be seen by her but the front desk was warm. And when I did end up talking to Armstrong about my issue and how she would fix it, she spoke about her treatment plan in very little detail. And when I asked her to provide more context she just stated what she originally said to me.To me, it felt like she either didn't know what she was talking about or she was hiding information from me. It was very weird the fact that she would just repeat herself and wouldn't actually answer my questions. I believe a doctor should provide you with exactly what they are planning to do if you want to be comfortable moving forward with the procedure. I had to ask her how exactly she would be able to melt the unwanted fat in my face and it wasn't until the asking a handful of time how she'd do it that she gave me the name of the actual procedure and device she'd use (Athena - fat dissolving injection). She mentioned that no other doctors do it which is why its so specialized at her office which is a little bit of a red flag. She couldn't even provide me with any risks that are involved which there are always risks with invasive/noninvasive treatments. I told her I wanted to do more research before committing and as soon as she realized I wasn't moving forward or asking too many questions, she was cold and itching to leave the consultation. The front desk provided me a pamphlet of the service she recommended. And I asked them if they could provide more information like successful case studies of Armstrong doing this procedure with other people and they said they'd get back to me. I never heard from them and even sent a follow up email asking and no word. The procedure would cost close to $6,000 out of pocket. And If I am going to pay a significant amount of money, I expect to have way more information being given and provided to me in order to feel confident that the procedure will be successful. To me, the office and Armstrong are unprofessional. They cannot even backup the procedures they recommend. It also was unprofessional how she talked bad about also certified doctors when she isn't even a board certified doctor herself, which is why I haven't referred to her as a doctor throughout my review. I feel like she cares more about her social media platform and any patient that can give her more social brand awareness than actually being genuinely interested in prospective patients and their needs. Its definitely $150 I wont get back since I will absolutely not follow through with a procedure with her. Please note in the treatment section of this review, I selected kybella since my treatment she recommend isn't listed. But Athena Injections (aka Microneedling but with a single needle) was what she recommended.

***PERMANENT FACIAL SCARRING AND HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE WITH DR. JENNIFER ARMSTRONG NEWPORT BEACH, CA**** This was the absolute worst experience with a medical "professional" I've ever experienced. I won't go into the full details, but after numerous visits, I came away in much worse condition than when I started. 1. I spent $2000 with Advance Skin Care & MedCenter for a series of micro needling treatments using the Vivace Radio Frequency procedure. Dr. Armstrong was very unfamiliar with the Vivace machine. During my procedures, she had to keep leaving the room to call another doctor to ask for instructions on the treatment she was preforming. She also had to preform extra treatments because we were seeing NO results. She told me we had to start all over again because the first few treatments weren't done correctly by her. This was not a benefit to me as the procedure was painful and I had to take time off of work for each appointment. 2. Rather than helping clear up my acne, her actions actually caused my acne to spread over my face. She was using the red light setting instead of the blue light on my acne areas, causing the acne to be carried to other areas of my face when she moved the needles around during the procedures. 3. My acne became very infected after it spread to new areas, so Dr. Armstrong injected me with cortisone shots without ever giving me information on the possible side effects. All 4 injection spots are now divots/scars on my face. I would have never let her inject these spots knowing that I could possibly be scarred. 4. Dr. Armstrong said I was in need of an oral antibiotic for my acne infection, but her office failed to call the prescription in 3 times; even after I called and texted to remind them. Meanwhile my acne infection was getting worst and spreading. 5. Dr. Armstrong prescribed a topical antibiotic for my acne that she carried in her office. After using, my face only got more swollen and inflamed. Due to the severity, I went to see another dermatologist who informed me that the medication Dr. Armstrong had prescribed was a medication I am deathly allergic to and was noted on my patient forms. (thank God I didn't ingest as it would have stopped my heart. This was topical but it did cause my face to become completely inflamed from the allergic reaction) 6. I notified Dr. Armstrons office that they had prescribed a prescription that I am DEATHLY allergic to. I also advised her that this was spelled out very clearly on my patient medical history forms. I asked Dr. Armstrong's office for copies of my full medical records to be sent to me. I received everything but my patient forms that I filled out, signed and stated I was deathly allergic to sulfa drugs. I requested those records on 7 occasions through their corporate attorney, through Dr. Armstrong's attorney, through my attorney, through Dr. Armstrong directly and through their office, but no one has provided me with the portion of my medical records where I stated and signed that I am ALLERGIC TO SULFA DRUGS. Which is a violation of my patient rights and is completely unethical. Dr. Armstrong and Advance Skin Care & MedCenter have offered no satisfactory resolution. Due to the incredibly poor experience and negative results, I could never in good conscience recommend Dr. Armstrong or Advanced Skincare MedCenter because of their lack of patient care.
