I had precision done to my neck and jaw line, happy with the results doctor Rico took his time, he addressed my issues that I was concerned about on the neck and the jar line, Had to wear a neck brace for 3 days but did not inconvenience me I was not painful at all I also took arnica for any bruising which really helped and the swelling and 6 months later the results are better than I thought

I'm over 50 and I want to look a little younger and not so beat up from the sun and living at the beach. A friend mentioned Newport Beach MedSpa and I went in for a consultation. I felt very at ease after meeting the staff and Dr. Csepanyi, he suggested precision Smartlipo for my neck and chin. I'm very happy with the results and it was well worth the time and money for the procedure. Also there was very little pain associated with this treatment all manageable with ibuprofen.

I've had issues with saddlebags for what feels like forever. I'm not overweight, but those spots wouldn't go away. I had avoided CoolSculpting for a long time, thinking if I would spend a lot of money, I would spend it on lipo. Plus, a 30% reduction didn't sound like enough of a change to make it worth it. Boy was I wrong! I finally took the plunge at Newport Beach MedSpa. I worked with V, who is fantastic. She is professional, kind, and completely honest, which is so important to me. I don't want to be upsold on procedures that don't work. She really knows her stuff and was excellent in helping me pinpoint the sections to target. I highly recommend her! I had the procedure done on my flanks, inner thighs, and outer thighs. I had already convinced myself not to expect a huge change. I had soreness and some swelling afterwards, but nothing that hindered me from daily life, and the soreness went away after a week or so. The numbness cleared up a few weeks after that. Again, I wasn't expecting a huge result and avoided looking in the mirror. But after 7 or 8 weeks, suddenly my jeans were fitting so much better. And when I stopped and took a good look, I was amazed! I had a huge result! My flanks were so much leaner, my muffin top had drastically reduced. My saddlebag had smoothed out, no more side bumps in my jeans. And for the first time, I had thigh gap! And that was just one session - I am going im for a second round. I can't wait to see the results after that. Skinny jeans are now my friends again! Absolutely thrilled with the results! Newport Beach Medspa helped me to achieve a goal I didn't think was possible.

Dr. Rico was very professional , he made the treatment feel like a spa visit rather than an all blown up process , the results were noticeable with minimal downtime for me I was able to go back to my patients in no time

I would highly recommend Dr. Csespanyi for Smart Lipo. He did an amazing job on the areas (flanks and hips) that were removed. In addition, Dr. Csespanyi has a great sense of humor and keeps you at ease during the procedure. Overall, I am very pleased with my results.

Wanted to look better. This is a youthful society and I have a lot of energy and want to feel involved with all ages of people. The end result was everything I wanted without going through a full plastic surgery and the downtime associated with recovery. the procedure is also less expensive than the invasive surgery.

I have been to see Dr. Csepanyi several times over the past few years. He always seems to have the newest laser technology and treatments available. I have been very pleased with all procedures I've received, especially the results of SmartLipo Chin treatment. He doesn't try to sell me on anything unnecessary and his knowledge and expertise keeps me looking younger but still natural. The entire staff is great, they immediatley make you feel comfortable and followed up after treatment to insure all was well.

I had smartlipo with this doctor. He said I would only have one scar where my two bottoms meet, below my back. When I was done with the lipo, I got up only to realize I had 3 scars, one where he said I would and 2 additional ones on my back. He lied. I asked to speak to the doctor and they said he was already gone?!? It was two minutes after the lipo and he had already left. I had to change my wedding dress since I didn’t want the lipo scars to show. The office didn’t offer any compensation or credit for anything after this huge inconvenience. They said to give the scars time to heal and they would diminish?!? Please. Very unprofessional. Don’t go here. Go with a professional that specializes in lipo and doesn’t lie about how many scars you will have. I recommend not getting anything done unless that MD shows you pictures of their work. They also say you get a “custom made” compression garment...another lie! I never went back!

I went to Dr. Cespanyi’s office for vellashape, but during the consultation with his medical assistant, I decided to do the cellulaze. So they scheduled me for another consultation for cellulaze with "Dr." and charged me fully for the procedure before I even see him. Again the same medical assistant that talk to me for VS, came and answered my questions. She said if I still wanted to see the Dr. because Dr. was busy! I thought the whole point for the second consultation was seeing the Dr.! I said yes. So Dr. came and he was obviously not happy to be there. I was dress the whole time. He didn't even wanted to check my legs to see if I was a candidate or not. The consent form that they gave me was not for the Cellulaze but the smart lipo machine which is doing several different procedures. They said they always used a general form to save on printing forms. I found that very odd. As if you want to get a Botox and sign a form for the syringe. And at the end the prescription was not written correctly and pharmacy refused to fill it. After all these incidents I had no trust to do any procedure with this Dr. Obviously they have no clue what they are doing. It's been a week that I was calling to get my refund. Suddenly staff became extremely rude. They put me on long holds. They are too busy to talk to me. Everyday they say we do the refund today but nothing happened yet. I Had to file a dispute for my refund. I know it will be a long process, but I don't want to deal with them any more.

On March 22, 2013, I went to Newport Beach MedSpa to have some superficial spider veins removed from the side of my nose. I was taken into the treatment room by the person who would be performing the treatment, Kathy Mohammadi. We spoke briefly - approximately 20 seconds while she face timed in the Dr. for a "consult" again lasting about 20 seconds. She began the treatment which is suppose to have little to NO down time. She began moving the laser over my cheeks and underneath my eyes despite me 1) not having any spider veins and there and 2) that is not the area I asked to be treated! Half way through the procedure she hastily leaves the room, says nothing to me and leaves the door to the treatment room wide open. I assume she realized she had burned me, but came back and then started on the other side of my face. by the time I left, I had an open, weeping wound on one side of my face and the other side was developing a large blister. As the day went on smaller blister began to forms under my eyes which eventually popped and bled. The blister on the other cheek popped as well and the wound was quite deep. I called 6 days later concerned that the wounds were looking infected and my cheeks were still swollen, red and very hot, but didn't get a return till the following afternoon. I went through another weekend and by wednesday of the following week I was still looking SO bad and the hole on my right cheek was not healing. I called the office once again and they said I should come the following day to see a nurse. She looked at my face and the open lesions and face timed in the Dr. I expressed my concerns that I look considerably worse now that I did when I went in; I was worried about scarring as well; and why did Kathy perform the procedure on my cheeks and eyes when my chart clearly states nose? His comment was, "the face is very forgiving" and offered to phone in antibiotics. I called the pharmacy for 4 1/2 hours that evening to see if the meds had been phoned in. They had not. I got a call the following day from the office that they are not able to find a phone number for the pharmacy - IT'S TARGET and if you Google Target Phamracy, Costa Mesa - it's the first entry!!! They are so incompetent that I will NEVER EVER return there. so here I am over 3 weeks later with a hole which is VERY prominent on my right cheek. I know better than to go to a MedSpa for a "real" procedure but I thought that this was SO minor that anyone with even a decent amount of training could perform it. Boy was I wrong. When Kathy was using the laser she was also pressing with such extreme pressure that my cheeks were bruised and tender. They have made no offer to correct the damage they have done - so I am not sure what my next move is. I work in the diet industry where appearance is very important and a large hole (in addition to smaller ones on my cheeks and under my eyes) is not acceptable. I know this isn't as bad or as devastating as some of the procedures I have seen, but keep in mind this is VERY MILD procedure which was to be done on THE SIDE OF MY NOSE NOT ON CHEEKS AND EYES! Updated on 20 Apr 2013: It's 4 weeks after treatment and the large blister has scarred. It's right in the middle of my cheek and it obvious even with sunglasses on. I have an appointment with a BOARD CERTIFIED plastic surgeon on Monday to see what needs to be done to correct the damage. I never in a MILLION years thought this could happen to me - I know NEVER go to a MedSpa for a major procedure but I thought the worst thing that could come of this was it might not work that great and I'd only be out a little money. I never even considered the fact that the person would be SO unskilled as to not even know to treat the correct area as was written in my chart! If you have to choose a MedSpa - do your homework. While negative reviews maybe don't always give the entire picture, the MedSpa I went to had quite a few negative reviews (now I see them!) of pretty horrific things they have done to their patients, but what I also noticed is that when the MedSpa responded they were very condescending towards the patients and basically every response blamed the patient themselves saying THEY had done something wrong. I called the MedSpa on 4/19/2013 and Kathy Mohammadi, the RN that performed the procedure, doesn't work there any longer. A quick Google search and it appears she already has a business called Muguet Laser and Skin Care. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Updated on 23 Apr 2013: UPDATE: Well, I went to go see a couple of BOARD certified plastic surgeons and the consensus is I need to wait at least 6 months before they can do anything. They said you can see that my skin is damaged and still swollen so until that heals to try another procedure when they aren't exactly sure how its going to respond to this MedSpa debacle, is just too risky. Of course, not at all what i wanted to hear. What I wanted was for them to say, lets schedule you for next week and get this taken care of! But this is what I NEEDED to hear and why I went to a board certified plastic surgeon. the Dr is the expert not me and it really makes me take a tougher look at MedSpas yet again. They don;t advise you really, they just sign you up for whatever you like. I really liked Dr. Shamoun, he took the time to meet with me and explain what was going on. Not just a nurse scheduling as many patients as can be put through the office in a single day. The estimates right now to get this corrected start at 6,000.00 and go up. Oh, have I learned MY lesson! Updated on 30 Apr 2013: April 30.2013 - I definitely have a scar but something else has shown itself. The area on my check that was blistered has hypo pigmentation (lack of pigment) ao there is a white circle about the size of a quarter with the scar on the middle. Also the skin texture is different.
