Hello everyone, ive been wanting a BA for over 15 years. Ive always been small chested, even with my pregnancy i didnt get bigger than a B, while ive learned to live with having a small chest its always been in the back of my mind. My husband didnt want me to change anything about myself, he always daid im perfect the way i am, but after many deep conversation i think he finally realized why i wanted it and finally gave me his blessings, which meant a lot to me. So I had my pre-op on Aug.22, 2017 and my surgery is scheduled for Sept.7, 2017. I chose Mentor Silicone gel smooth round and my PS recommened 450cc in my left breast and 475cc in my right to correct slight symmetry. He also suggested High Profile. I will update a day before my surgery, and there after. Im so excited ive waited a long time for this. I will post my stats again at the bottom.
5'7
145lbs
34 A/B
450/475cc
Silicone gel HP

Just thought id share a few full body pics of my body type before it changes lol.
Ive always had a lil junk in the trunk and always wanted a top half to match it, buying bikins almost impossible i wore small top and large bottoms lol, hopefully after thursday i will. Im really hoping to come out around a C but id be happy at a small D as well lol.
Been trying to get everything done, all the laundry, shopping, and deep cleaning, before the big day.
I cant believe how fast the days have been going by. Pre-surgery jitters havent kicked in yet, but im sure they will tomorrow lol. I guess thats all for now. Thank you for the support. Kind regards.

So i had my surgery around 11am today. Everything went great. My surgeon Dr. Barnes is the absolute greatest, along with the rest of his staff, his bedside manner is awesome. His nurse Racheal made me feel so at ease, she was aware of my fear of needles and did a fantastic job inserting my IV. The anesthesiologist Shawn was great he explained every detail to me and my husband and as soon as he administered my "happy juice" into my IV, the last thing i remember is saying "this stuff works fast" lol. Before i knew it i was awake in the recovery room with my nurse who was extremely professional and kind. I had no side effects what so ever from the anesthesia, absolutely no nausea at all, and was actually pretty hungry when i woke up.
As far as pain i havent really experienced much pain today, but i have been taken my pain meds as directed, just extreme pressure, especially in the middle of my chest. I think ill take a muscle relaxer before bed just to make sure i get to sleep tonight. Well i guess thats all for todays update, i have attached a few pics from today after surgery, and ill try to take some better ones tomorrow.
Thank you everyone for your kind words and ill keep you updated on my progress. :)
Review of what i got:
Mentor round silicone gel implants
475cc right breast/ 450cc in left
Under the muscle
Inframammary fold incision

So im 1 day post-op and i feel pretty good. Not really experiencing any pain just a little tightness but thats expected. Im taking my pain meds (Tramadol) as advised every 4-6 hours, i take them at the 5 hour mark. Started my Arnica pills today for the swelling. I also was prescribed Zofran but i havent needed it yet. I took 1 muscle relaxer last night befor bed but i havent really experienced any muscle spasms yet. I'd have to say so far my recovery is going very smoothly, i pray that it continues. Well i guess thats all i have to update today. Going to eat some lunch right now. Let me know if you ladies have any questions and have a wonderful day :)

I am 5 days post-op today im still pretty tight and swollen but i can start to see just a tiny bit of dropping. My left (450cc) is dropping faster than my right (475cc) i guess thats expected. It is definitely a weird feeling not going to lie, im sure with time they will start to feel more like a part of my body. I see my PS tomorrow for my first post-op appt. hopefully i will learn some massages or get a compression strap to help them drop faster. I still have that "torpedo boob" thing going on when my bra is off, so i hope they start to look a bit more like their selfs soon, i think i had a bit of booby blues for the last 2 days, thinking "what did i do" but im feeling a bit better about it today. I posted a few pics of what they are looking like today, just to recap i got 450/475 silicone hp smooth round implants under the muscle inframmamory fold incision.

So im starting to see quite a bit of dropping, more in my left. Im so excited, this is my first time ever buying bras with no padding. Haven't been sized yet but the white bra is a 38C, that is exactly the size i was looking to achieve!! :) I know i still have a ways to go to see the final results but im pleased so far.

Im exactly 2 weeks post-op today and i have to say my recovery has been so smooth. I love my PS and his staff he is absolutely the best and though he is a younger guy, he seems so experienced, he does things a little differently.
After my first week post-op he had me go completely bra less, i could wear a loose cami but that was it, and im suppose to still go bra less until my 4 week appt. He says its to help with dropping and he doesnt recommend me massaging either or wearing a compression strap.
I posted a couple pics of my self in one of my favorite body con dresses before and after my BA and im excited that it finally fits the way its suppose to...im really happy with my results so far, i know i still have a ways to go, but so far so good! :)

Im exactly 3 weeks post-op today...yay! I went to VS to get sized and according to them, im a 34DD. Didnt buy any bras from there yet, waiting until i get closer to my final results. I did stop a Jc Penny and pick up a few of these cute bralettes for $10. I still have to wear the brown tape on my incisions for another week, i did get to see them at my 2 week appt. and they looked like they were healing nicely, but after that hopefully i can start my scar therapy. My left boob is still got some dropping to do and they are getting softer everyday. I have absolutely no numbness anymore, my nipples are a tad bit sensitive but nothing too crazy. I think thats about it for now, ill update again at my 1 month :)

27 days post op...tomorrow is exactly my 1 month mark post-op. I feel like everything is going extremely well so far, they are dropping and softening more everyday, my left more than my right but i was told that because im right handed its to be expected. I feel they are just the right size for my body and lifestyle. I can hide them in some clothes or be a bit more revealing in others when i choose to :) im still not allowed to wear bras with underwires for a couple more weeks but ive gotten so comfortable wearing camis and bralettes, dont know that ill even want to lol. My incisions are looking good so far, im still wearing the brown tape for 2 more weeks then I can start scar treatment. I've attached a few pics of what my incisions look like today and how my "girls" sit in a cami with no bra...im so happy with my results so far.

I can't believe how fast the weeks go by. I am exactly 5 weeks post-op today, i feel great, i am almost back to doing everything i did before, except lifting heavy items. My right breast is still a little higher than my left but i am hopeful that it will even itself out in time. They are getting softer everday but there is still a little tightness towards the top, which i was told is normal especially when you go under the muscle, so im not too worried at the moment.
I go for my 6 week appointment next thursday, I'm hoping i don't have to wear the brown tape on my incisions any longer and can start scar therapy.
I'm still not wearing any regular bras yet just camis and bralettes, hopefully at my next appointment i will get the go ahead to start. I took a few pics of how the "girls" look in a v-neck shirt and teddy.
Will update again after my next appointment, happy healing everyone :)

6 weeks post-op and what a difference. I added some pics of my journey along the way to encourage others at the many stages you may encounter before you start to look, "Normal" so to speak, again.
I also did some bra shopping at VS yesterday and picked up a few regular bras since i got the go ahead from my surgeon yesterday. He said everything looked great and in its place so i can return to my everyday routine, just to not over due it on upper body workouts.
I probably will only do updates every 3 months until i hit my 1 year mark so it was a pleasure to share my journey with you ladies and wish you all a wonderful journey of your own. :)

Well im exactly 8 weeks post-op today :) i was going to wait until my 3 month mark before i posted again, but i seen some slight changes in just 2 weeks so i thought id share with you lovely ladies. I think im in that "fluff" stage now because they are starting to look fuller to me. Its weird, some days they look kinda small to me and other days they look huge lol. I posted a few pics i took this morning of a front and side view, as well as how my scars are looking at 8 weeks. I also attached a side by side pic of 6 weeks vs 8 weeks for comparison. Let me know if you ladies see a change or is it only in my head lol. Also any advice for treating new stretch marks, i had some previously due to pregnancy, but i have noticed a few new ones as well.

Tomorrow i will be exactly 3 months post-op, where has the time gone. My journey has been smooth so far, im am by no means "perfect" nor have i ever expected to be, i knew realistically going into surgery that i would just be a bigger version of my same self, yes i was asymmetric and yes i had stretch marks before hand and my surgeon was very clear with me of what to expect afterwards. With that said im very pleased with my results, he couldnt have done a better job.
Im very comfortable with my body now and feel confident in my wardrobe, not having to worry about if i can wear a bra with this top or that one has boosted my confidence, which in turn allows me to actually enjoy shopping now.
I've attached a few before and after comparison photos. Recap on stats and size:
5'7
145lb
450/475cc HP Mentor silicone cohesive gel
Before 34 A/B
After 34DD

I forgot to add the incision pics lol. I haven't started any scar treatment yet just bio oil here and there.

5 months post-op today...where has the time gone? I have noticed some changes here in there but nothing drastic. I think they look pretty natural now, which makes me extremely happy because that is exactly what i wanted. I have noticed my scars are getting lighter and less visible, infact you cant even see them unless i lift my boobs up.. lol.
I am very happy i decided to go through with the surgery. No regrets at all, I'm happy with the size and profile. My confidence when i have no clothes on, has improved ten folds which was my ultimate goal.
I attached a few comparison pics of slight changes that occurred in a month.

At 4 weeks my incisions were healed, but my surgeon had me wear that brown tape, changing it every 4-5 days, until 6 weeks. At 6 weeks i started scar treatment, i started using a little bit of Bio oil and gently massaging onto the incision area after every shower. At week 10 i started using Scar Stick, which i got from my surgeons office, i used it twice a day until the tube was empty. I know everyone's bodies are not the same so my results may not be the same as others, i also believe my surgeons skillfull hands played a huge part in my healing process. I hope everyone reading this has the best results possible!!
