Are you a patient of Julian Hirst, FRACDS (OMS) (in memoriam)?
I have nothing but praise for Dr Julian Hirst and his team. Julian is kind, enthusiastic, goes out of his way to be helpful, and shows genuine care about others. Furthermore, although he's a first-rate surgeon and doctor, a more humble and approachable gentleman you are unlikely to meet. Like Julian, staff members, Casey, Sue, and Belinda, are friendly, compassionate, and professional. Likewise are Danielle, the other anaesthesia specialists, and the other health-care specialists, with whom Julian collaborates. I had some teeth, including my wisdom teeth, removed early in 2014. After the surgeries, I had minimal discomfort, no pain, and have healed exceptionally well. On returning later that year for a consultation about dental implants, I was greeted most warmly and immediately felt welcome and at ease. My feedback, which, mind you, was all good, was welcomed and kindly acknowledged. Also, Julian gave his contact details, should I have had any queries or concerns. His responses were prompt and thorough. Casey was amazingly helpful and generous with her time, too. I never felt as though I were a bother, and there were a few enquiries, given my interest in the medical field and curiosity in general. The care Julian and his team provides goes above and beyond. Not to mention you can't do otherwise than like such lovely people. I'd recommend them to anyone. For top-quality treatment in oral and maxillofacial surgery, look nowhere else.
5 out of 5 stars Jaw Reduction
Julian Hirst is the kind of person you wish every doctor could be. He has a gentle tact that made the whole process so much more relaxing. I never felt judged, or superficial, for not being happy with how I looked. The process was explained in enough detail to keep me informed without making me feel overwhelmed. I never felt like a nuisance, low-priority, or like my questions were irrelevant or a waste of time. Every call, text, or email was promptly responded too, even on weekends when I would never have expected a reply. Dr Hirst showed great compassion, patience and generosity before, during, and in the ongoing post-operative care. My results have gone above and beyond what I dreamt of and I believe speak volumes for his skill as a surgeon. His staff are friendly, helpful, and seem to run his clinics like clockwork. From memory, I waited three weeks or less for my initial consult, and I've never been hugely inconvenienced to make an appointment. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Hirst and his team to anyone - this is the person you go to for flawless care.
5 out of 5 stars Tooth Repair
Dr. Julian Hirst recently extracted my wisdom teeth at the Chermside Day Hospital. With my dentist phobia, I was extremely anxious prior to surgery. After consulting with Julian however, he put my mind to rest by thoroughly investigating all causes for concern - which greatly differed to a previous experience whereby the Doctor was very quick to make assumptions without fiirst having all...
