$6,700Breast Implant Revision

Ilpiccoloculograsso

Mentor 800cc UHP Revision with Mastopexy

I am now 40 and 170 pounds. I had a breast augmentation and abdominoplasty in January of 2019. The surgery turned out beautifully but I had gained weight because of a new thyroid issue. My implants were submuscular and I developed ptosis from the weight gain. I decided that I wanted to go bigger (the largest silicone available) and I needed a lift to remedy the ptosis. I originally thought he was just going to attempt a donut lift but once in surgery he made the choice to do a full anchor lift along with the 800cc uhp implants. He made the choice to give me the best possible results for the long term although he knew my worries of scarring. I scar badly. The slightest scratch can leave a permanent scar on me indefinitely. They are going to give me a new scar cream and I pray it works because my husband will think I look like Frankenstein if it doesn't... I have faith they will look beautiful, if anyone scars badly like me I would be so grateful to know what you used to lessen the scars and how they look a year after. I know the puckering is going to smooth....I hope my areolas are symmetrical post healing! My one week post-op my nurse said I was healing amazing.....she said I looked two weeks post instead of one! If anyone has had anything similar I'd love to hear from you! Updated on 17 Oct 2021: I'm trying to keep photo documentation of my healing process on a weekly basis so other patients who scar easily like me might have an idea of what to expect. I know everyone is different and healing is based on MANY factors...nutrition, genetics, supplements, rest, etc....but I will still share my experience. Hope it can help someone. My 3 week post-op was this last Thursday the 14th. My doctor said everything was looking great and he gave me a silicone scar gel called Silagen. I've been using it according to the instructions and I honestly think this stuff may be the magic potion for scars! I apply it and take the time to massage it into my scars per the instructions of my doctor. One of the most important things to do to help minimize the appearance of scars is massage. I'm feeling positive about the combo of Silagen and massage!! Updated on 5 Nov 2021: I cannot tell you how impressed I am at my surgeons suture skill to minimize scarring and the product Silagen!! THIS is ONLY 6 weeks post-op!!!! I've looked at so many images of mastopexy and compare my progress to that of most women at 4-6 months in their healing. I simply cannot sing enough praise of my plastic surgeon and the scarring product Silagen that he gave me post-op. This man is so skilled and intelligent! He knew my worries of scarring pre-op....he knew how I scar easily and they don't go away. Well, he's a plastic surgeon worth every penny. His APRN told me just looking at my 3 week post-op that I would never see my scars once healed and she was right! I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my breast implant revision and mastopexy! WOW!!!

Gifted Doctor, Perfect Work

READ: Dr. Newman is a gifted physician. We are so fortunate to have this quality of doctor in a more rural area. Dr. Newman performed a delicate and subtle rhinoplasty on me- not only were the results flawless to the millimeter, but I had minimal bruising and swelling. He truly constructed the perfect nose for my face while keeping me structurally sound. I would trust him with anyone or anyone operation. Amazing doctor!!

$6,800Breast Lift with Implants

Mentor, 465cc, ultra high profile with donut lift - so far I’m thrilled

I’m 2 days post op after having a breast lift and implants. So far I’m thrilled with the results. I traveled almost 4 hours to see dr Newman after having a girlfriend recommend him. His staff was really great. It also meant a lot to me that he gave me his cell phone number so that I could send him pictures or texts if something concerned me between surgery and our post op consultation. I would definitely recommend him to others and will probably see him again in the future for a tummy tuck and BBL Updated on 3 Feb 2020: My boobs were pretty lifeless after breastfeeding and losing 100lbs with the vertical gastric sleeve. I went from 40 DD’s to barely there 34 C’s. If I sat around in high waisted pants with no bra on, I could probably tuck my boobs into the top of my pants. I even hated being on top during sex with my husband because of how my chest looked. We talked about me getting a boob job for a long time. Finally the time came. I had several girlfriends recently have work done. I picked the doctor with better bedside manner and personality based on my friends’ reviews of their experiences with different doctors. Leading up to the appointment, we had a consultation where I tried on sizes, a pre op appointment a week prior to the appointment (I tried on sizes again and talked through some concerns that came up), and the actual day of surgery. I’ve got a post op appointment scheduled for a week after surgery. I really liked that my doctor had an agreement with a local hotel where if your check in time was before 8 am and you were traveling more than 50 miles, you could check into the hotel the night before for free. That came in super handy as my husband went back to the hotel for a 2 hour nap while I was in surgery. Day of surgery, I got there about 545, at 6am I was getting set up by the pre op nurse, 7 am the anesthesiologist came by to review some stuff, then the operation nurse came by to reconfirm some questions and to make sure we had the right size implants pulled. 715, the dr came in, did some marking on me, and then we were ready. The nurse pushed some meds in my iv and they started rolling me out. Next thing I remember is waking up and complaining about the cost of Tamiflu that I had to pay the night before for my daughter haha. I stayed very regular on my pain meds and muscle relaxers the first two days. Today is day 3 and I’ve only taken 1 pain killer. I did almost pass out in the shower the day before but I think it was due to not eating and the temperature being too hot. The gauze from my nipples made my stomach turn a little for some reason. But that’s been the only bad thing that has happened.I’m super excited about my results so far and will continue to update time goes on.For stats, I’m 5’4 147 lbs. yes they are partially below the muscle. My main concerns were wanting a slight lift, lots of volume up top and to be back to my DD’s before I lost weight. I also wanted my areolas reduced some. I felt like I had some big tea cup plate nipples and wanted something prettier. Updated on 11 Feb 2020: I’m still doing super great! I can’t believe how well this is going actually. I’m super happy with my results still. I haven’t had any complaints. I can tell that the girls are dropping as the tops and my ribs feel at little more tender the past couple of days. But everything seems to be going on track. These pictures are from today and the comparisons are day 3 to day 10 Updated on 17 Feb 2020: I’ve always been super self conscious of my areola. Before having a kid, I referred to them as pepperoni nipples, because they were big. Then after getting pregnant, they grew even more! They were pizza nipples then haha. I originally got my nipples pierced in hopes that it would distract from the size of my areola and make me feel like they were pretty. So part of our consolation, I mentioned that and Dr. Newman said he could make them smaller during the breast lift. Honestly, I didn’t have an ideal size. I would have been happy with pepperoni nipples or smaller. Since I didn’t realize this was an option before the consultation, this was more of just an extra bonus for me. Anyway..... we finally removed the tape around my areola and once again, I’m freaking thrilled! Yes there is some puckering which I was told would eventually go away or be less noticeable. I was glad that I could feel the tape being pulled away. I was nervous about not having feeling there for awhile. There’s definitely a big difference in the size pre and post areola. Other updates at 17 days: There is some pain, but that’s expected. I would compare the pain to a sunburn. I’ve been putting coco butter on the exposed skin, but not massaging them yet. My post op orders say to wait till week 3 to massage. Rubbing the lotion on them feels like rubbing after sun care on a pretty intense sunburn. Everything seems to be healing well. The incisions under my breast look good. I can see that the girls are dropping more, swelling is going down, and they’re getting softer. No real problem with lifting my arms, but bending over isn’t my favorite. I usually wrap my arm around my chest if I’m bending over to grab something. There have been a couple of times when I’ve used my upper muscles more than I should and I’ll feel some pain, so I’ll stop and ask for help. I can feel nerves in my nipples waking up. It’s like lightening strikes in my nipples and goes away as quickly as it came. I’m still wearing my surgical bra when I go to bed at night. For a few nights I didn’t (I wore a regular sports bra) and when I woke up, I felt more sore than the other nights. During the day, I’m wearing sports bras that zip in the front. I’ve also got a bra that was gifted to me that another friend swore by after her surgery, her dr said it was the only bra he recommended for patients for 6 months post surgery. I’ve worn it twice when going to work and wearing a top where I didn’t want sports bra straps showing (mainly because I was doing presentations in front of important people). I don’t see anything special about it and think it works as well as the sports bras. It basically looks like my surgical bra, a no wire bra, and a sports bra were combined into one. So I can see why someone might want that option to wear for sake of outfits, but it’s not necessary. I also bought a surgical strap that we lovingly refer to as my titty strap. I’ll put that on while driving for some extra stability since my office is a good 30 min bumpy ride. I still can’t get over how happy I am! Updated on 14 Mar 2020: Still super happy. My doctor is 4 hours away so I haven’t had a post op with him yet, but that’s my fault. My daughter had a snow day when we were scheduled and I’ve had too much going on with work... plus coronavirus now.... but I have texted with dr. Newman and I completely feel that if I had concerns, he’d be there for me. I love the way my breast look. I didn’t realize it prior to surgery, but I guess I had some fat in my armpits that subconsciously bothered me. That is gone now. I love the shape and feel. My right side is still a little sore if I try to lay on my side, but im going to keep massaging them. I’m thinking it’s because I’m more dominate on my right side. One thing I wasn’t warned about was rib pain. Totally makes sense now that I’m dealing with it. About 4 weeks out, I started getting pain in my left side and then it was concluded that it was because of implants. My right side just started experiencing it. At this point, I’m dropping waiting to fluff

Mommy Makeover - 40 yr old, 5'5", 135 lbs

I started thinking about a breast lift thirteen years ago when my first daughter was 2 years old. But then decided to have another baby so I obviously needed to hold off. With my second pregnancy, I went from a B to and E cup. My breasts were ruined! Over the years, my weight has drastically fluctuated due to stress ar work. Finally, my girls are self sufficient enough that I can finally do this for me without feeling that I'm being selfish and abandoning their needs. My mini tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation is scheduled for Halloweeen. I joke that what better day to come out with Frankenboobs than on Halloween!! Updated on 2 Nov 2019: Today was shower day and it’s amazing how much better a shower can make you feel. I’m making sure I drink at least 8oz of water every hour, get up to go to the bathroom, and then spend at least five minutes walking around the house before laying back down. Starting to switch from pain meds to ibuprofen.

Jessner Peel

I Love My Jessner Chemical Peel

I had my Jessner Peel yesterday at Dr Newmans Mnt. Home Arkansas office. Great team of friendly helpful and knowledgeable people. I have had one before, actually many times.I try to have one about every month and a half. My work and lifestyle has always been out doors and there have been times I have not looked after my skin the way I should. My complexion is very fair so I have had a lot of sun damage over time. I love the Jessner Peel. It is very effective at removing the top dead layers of skin with out making you look terrible. A stronger peel is fine if you don't mind how red and blotchy you look after. But for me the Jessners is just right. Yes it gets a little warm but not bad, you get an itchy sensation the next day but after that you start to lightly peel and with in two weeks you have lovely fresh skin. The stronger chemical peels are too hot and powerful for me the down time is something I don't have "time" for. By doing this regularly I have kept my wrinkles to a minimum and I get compliments on the condition of my facial skin all the time. (Honest).I find it a cost effective and easy way to help keep my skin healthy and exfoliated. Well worth it.

Jeuveau

Jeuveau Instead of Botox

I have tried Botox a number of times for frown lines and crows feet and although it did help, it did not last. Most people at least get 3 months immobilization but I barely got 2. We don't know why but I just don't. So my physician suggested we try Jeuveau. Its new and is an up grade/improved prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs injectable. They are a great group of people at Dr Newmans office and go out of their way to try and help their patients..... genuine and caring they go the extra mile for you. The procedure is the the same and is a little uncomfortable but not much. Took about 10 mins and then you are done. So far I like it, I have already noticed it is starting to work - it has only been 24 hours. I am excited to see if it lasts longer than their competition. I will up date this after 2 months and let you know. Paying for a product that only lasts 1/2 the time it is supposed to is disappointing and expensive - Hopefully this will work and save me money. Maybe there is a product out there that works for me.....fingers crossed I will let you know. So far so good!

Wonderful Team - Great Experience

I wanted to find a surgeon that really knew what he was doing and with whom I felt comfortable, so I first went for Botox treatments. I was very happy with the results as well as the professionalism of the entire staff, Dr Newman was comforting and had an "eye" for how best to work with you and your desired out come. I had not had many wrinkles around my face till about the age of 50...then after that it was really bad. I didn't know what to do. I decided on a mini face lift. This procedure was done in May 2017. It was very straight forward and actually easy. I was nervous but not scared. It is vital that you choose a Dr that you trust completely. This is your face. If you have the slightest doubt don't do it. I can not stress that enough. You have to live with the results, you must choose carefully. I can recommend Dr Newman with complete confidence. I had total bed rest the next day and yes it did hurt, but I followed instruction and after the first 24 hours the pain was a lot less. Gradually it didn't hurt at all, until I forgot and bumped it or something! There was a little swelling but not huge amounts. What surprised me the most was how little bruising was there. Things like drying your face - be careful! Pat do not rub. Make sure you follow instructions on cleanliness. I cannot tell you how happy I felt with my results. I was so excited it gave me courage to go for a lip lift. I did the lip lift just over one month later. This was just as positive an experience as the face lift but I have to say I had much more swelling with the lip lift. I was quite shocked at first sight of the stitches. My nose and lip were very puffy. This did go down but took several days. My face stitches and nose stitches came out after a week. The scars are not visible!! It has taken time for the areas of incision to heal. Most of the areas involved went back to normal very quickly but the skin just in front of my ears stayed a little numb for almost a year but is fully restored now. Behind the ears there was gathered skin. Although there was a lot of skin there, now, a year later it is flat and smooth once more. I can not put into words how much these procedures have improved my confidence and well being. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Would I recommend either procedure? Absolutely. BUT be very careful who you choose to work on your face. You need someone who will make you, your most beautiful you.... I recommend Dr Newman of Mountain Home Arkansas.

Dr newmans skills are amazing

I recently lost 95 pounds and have struggled with how I looked and felt about myself for years. After having lost weight I knew to ever trully be happy I would need plastic surgery. I was afraid of spending so much money, not knowing if i would be satisfied with results. But let me tell you, he does an amazing job! I still have a long ways to go for everything to settle, but I am so very pleased with what I see and how I feel. I have seen many before and after pictures online for all procedures, and I think my thigh lift alone is better then any I have seen online. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience, results, dr newman and his amazing staff. Will recommend him to anyone!

Great experience

My fiancé and I have both received Coolsculpting treatments from Dr. Newman and staff in Mountain Home. The treatments were fast, painless and effective (provided you follow a reasonable diet and exercise plan I am told). They set you up with a book and your phone, strap the device to your Bingo-arms or saddlebags and you’re ready! I felt that he and his staff did a great job of explaining what to expect from the treatment and explaining the differences in results between Coolsculpting and liposuction. I have also had Dr. Newman remove a suspicious lesion from my face. The area on my cheek healed up nicely within a few weeks and I sleep better at night knowing that I am not actively growing a cancerous mole on my face. I think what really sets this place apart is how caring and professional Dr. Newman is...from the moment you walk in you know you’re in a good place. He will be our go-to doc for any cosmetic needs!
