I starting really noticing how much I was thinning when I graduated college. So I got a consultation at 24 and they only offered the FUT process at that time. I wear my hair fairly close cropped so I didn't want a scar, that's at least what I kept telling myself. I got fed up when I hit 30 and decided to get another consultation done. They went over the FUE procedure that had just come to AZ a couple years ago and it sounded perfect. I wish I had started the procedure when I first noticed the thinning at 24, but live and learn, don't live and regret. Now, I still had crazy anxiety (not knowing what I was really getting into), but it was completely unwarranted, the only "pain" I felt was from the local anesthesia, and that was just a minor annoyance. After you are numb, you really do not feel any pain at all. I was slightly sore the first night when laying on my pillow, but I'm only on Day 2 and already feel so much better. If you are on the fence with the procedure, don't wait, don't regret. Get your hair and your confidence back.

I had hair restoration done about six years ago at the Scottsdale Institute where I received less than a caring and positive experience. I noticed I was still losing hair on my crown area and decided to not wait until my hair loss was noticeable to everyone else... I checked out the Bosley Group because they are the largest Hair Provider, so my reasoning was that they are probably the most knowledgeable in the field. My concern was that the last time I checked they were the most expensive as well, driving me to the Scottsdale Institute the first time. I was so pleased to find that this time they were offering a special which brought the price down to less than the cheapest price I found six years ago! Well, all I can say is that there is not enough room here to tell everyone how Amazing Bosley in Scottsdale is!!! From the moment I walked in that morning and was greeted by the receptionist, to the informed financial assistant who got me set up with a Care Credit account in about 5 mins to allow me to purchase more graphs at the great rate...to the expert team of Kay, Dawn, Jessica and Pam who treated me as if I was having a Spa Day at Club Med!!! I had a wonderful pain free and soothing experience with this team of Dr. Hekimian who could not have been nicer if they had been in a children's story! I will say more about Dr. Hekimian later... I just want to say that I would recommend Bosley of Scottsdale to anyone looking for hair restoration. I had a Five Star Spa Day and almost forgot that I was there for an operation!!!!

I had a hair transplant procedure at Bosley Medical nine months ago. This is a class A medical group. For this procedure Dr. Hekimian and staff transplanted over 800 grafts. From the time I walked in the door to the end of the procedure I was treated extremely well. Follow up communication was also top notch to see how I was progressing. Recovery time after the procedure was minimal and the results after nine months have been phenomenal. I highly recommend Bosley Medical, Dr. Hekimian and staff. It does not get anymore professional than that.

Dr. Hekimiam is personable, knowledgeable and humorous. Seldom have I had a doctor take the time to really communicate with me. He answered all my questions without me choosing to feel ignorant for not knowing the answers. One heck of a good doctor.

I wanted to give a honest fair review so I waited over the suggested 18 months to see full results. I am a female in my 30s with curly/wavy Afro hair. Born with a high, thin, uneven hairline. In October 2017 I had a FUT transplant with Bosley in AZ. During the consultation I originally stated my main concerns of wanting my ONLY my hairline lowered. I wanted a more feminine hairline, lower, and rounded at temples. My forehead was high and hairline thin. The doctor told me I would need 1,400 -2,000 grafts. I was told by Dr. the amount of grafts I got would determine how low my hairline could be lowered. So I opted for the most grafts to be transplanted. Overall cost for 2000 grafts & room reservation was a little over 9k. A week after consultation I went forward with the procedure. 2,300 grafts were retrieved, the extra 300 grafts received from donor site were implanted for "free". The transplant took about 8-9 hours. The end result was a very scattered hairline and only a few grafts where placed the agreed line was drawn. Around 1000 grafts where placed in front of my original hairline. More than half of my grafts were place on the top of my head where did not ask nor need them to be. My hairline was still very high, and my temples are still thin. There was subtle improvement. I would not have paid 9k for results I received. Since then I've had a 2nd procedure elsewhere with satisfying results.

I recieved two prp sessions thicken my hair at Bosley Scottsdale. One in October of 2017. The other in January of 2018. My hair start fall out 8 weeks after the last session.I think it may shockloss but the doctor told me it's not a possible side effect. Almost two later, iDo not go to. Dr. Hekimian. Updated on 19 Jul 2018: Four months later, my hair has not recovered from the shock loss. My attempts to grow back my hair has been met with little success. I have tried castor oil, hair growth laser and shampoo. The doctor response to my post, indicating it may be something else, aggravated me. I experienced the hair loss 8 weeks after the prp injections.its either his technique or the treatment. Thats it. Prior to receiving the treatment, I had asked the doctor if shock hair loss is a possibility and he stated NO. However, his acknowledgment of the rarity of shock loss from prp corroborates that he knew of this risk and opted not to inform me. Whether it rare or not, its still a possibility. I will rather get a root canal than go back this doctor for a resolution. I don't trust him.

Okay so I have been on laser therapy and finastride since April 2017. I finally got my FUE transplant procedure on January 15 2018 for 800 grafts and my concern is after carefully reviewing other FUE patients on the web I notice that I am the only patient with the "zig-zag" or "M" shaped graft insertions. Is this normal? Im worried my finally result will not be enough or what I wanted. My goal was to restore my natural hairline. I also seem to be the only one with this style of graft insertions....and that worries me.
