I had breast revision surgery with Dr. Jeffrey C. Dawes on April 3rd, and the entire experience—from consultation to recovery—was absolutely incredible. Dr. Dawes removed my 450cc high-profile implants and replaced them with 310cc moderate-profile implants, along with a lift. From my very first consultation, I felt completely at ease. Dr. Dawes is soft-spoken, gentle, kind, and truly took the time to listen to my concerns and goals. He made me feel comfortable and confident in the process every step of the way, and I never once felt rushed or dismissed. His nurse, Elaine, was just as amazing. She handled my pre-op and post-op appointments with care and clarity, explaining every detail in an organized and thoughtful way. She made sure I felt good about the implant choice and was fully prepared for surgery. On the day of surgery, I was greeted by Joann, my nurse, who was warm, welcoming, and treated me like an old friend. She went above and beyond to make me feel calm and cared for. Because I was quite dehydrated, Dr. Chong, the anesthesiologist, stepped in to start my IV. He, too, had incredible bedside manner—he explained everything about the anesthesia process in detail and reassured me about the safety protocols in place. The surgery went exactly as planned, just as it had been explained to me. My recovery has been smooth and surprisingly easy, with very minimal discomfort. I’m so happy I chose to go through with this surgery, and even more grateful that it was with Dr. Dawes and his team. I honestly feel a little sad it’s over—everyone I encountered was so kind, supportive, and genuine. This experience has left a lasting positive impact on me, both physically and emotionally.

I got bracioplasty with liposuction in April 2023. Dr Dawes makes dreams come true through precise, considerate, and thorough care. I’m extremely happy with my preliminary results and excited to see a full heal. The scar looks great and he explained what to expect with the procedure and aftercare so I had no surprises. His front of house staff are very welcoming and friendly, calming my anxiety throughout the process! The nursing team is so knowledgeable and always took the time to answer my many questions. Dr. Dawes always made me feel like I had his undivided attention. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Dawes and his team more!

My experience with Dr. Dawes and his team was excellent. Nurse Elaine, front desk Amanda and Dr. Dawes were fantastic. Nurse Elaine answered all of my questions which was particularly important for me after surgery, I really appreciated that. Dr. Dawes was great and very clear about the difficulty with my ears. He has a clear cut, straight forward style. After surgery, I had some concerns with asymmetry, so much so that it caused me a lot of anxiety. I understood that I had a complicated case but still the result affected me emotionally. I decided to wait and see what Dr. Dawes would do/say before panicking. I was very, very relieved in my surgical follow up appointment when Dr. Dawes immediately saw what I saw and clearly said we would follow up and make a correction down the road in a few months after I've healed. I have never felt better about a Dr. visit than after that experience. Pain management, surgical preparation, post-operation directions etc was very good. I had some pain but it was managed so well proactively that it was really minor. I'm from out of town and the team was very accommodating for travel.

I’m not really sure where to even start other then this doctor truly changed my life, after having a 10 pound baby and a c section I was left with a hanging belly that i lived with for waaay to long. Every morning I would wake up and hate what I saw in the mirror. Now I can’t stop looking at myself in awe. I have been for consults with other plastic surgeons in the city and I can honestly say leaving every single one of them left a bad taste in my mouth, whether it was because I felt judged, pushed to leave a deposit or the lack of bedside manner. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Dawes, he was nonjudgmental, compassionate, understanding, he under promised and over delivered with the results and I felt he actually cared about me, my results and my happiness. This doctor is a genius and an angel. From the bottom of my heart thank you Dr Dawes, I love myself again and its all thanks to you. Every single person in that office is amazing, kind and so personable. Shoutout to Laura, when I went in for my consult I was a complete nervous mess and she really helped settle my fears and anxiety. Up until the surgery day she was always available to talk me off the ledge and calm my nerves. LOVE HER My only regret was that I didn’t do this sooner.

Hi all! I'm a type 1 diabetic for 30 yrs and I had what's called a 'diabetic tummy'. I was diagnosed @ 8 yrs old and I never recall ever having a flat stomach since then, due to never-ending injections in my place of choice... the tummy! It's something I have been self conscious of my whole life and now at 38 yrs old, I decided I deserved to look into options and treat myself! I am a researcher and am super due diligent, so went through all docs reviews, on here (RealSelf) and I only booked a consult with one person, that was Dr Jeffrey Dawes. I cannot begin to explain my excitement when he said he could work with me in our consult and I signed up asap! I'm not a thin person whatsoever to begin with but I accept my weight, just not my tummy. I had realisitc expectations set, staff super friendly and my favorite offical nurse ever, Elaine, just made everything so much better - along with neverending laughs! I found Dr Dawes a man of few words but it wasn't in an uncomfortable way, or made me feel akward at all... I felt I was with a man whom was highly skilled, realistic and thought provoking in how and what he can do for me. Noting he may be quiet but super friendly :) Day of surgery, he also met with me pre-surgery, drew on me and again stated the expectations. Well, let me tell you this... NEVER on Gods green earth would I have expected what I did when I took my binder off the next day. My Mom was with me and I think both our mouths just dropped!! He FAR exceeded anything I was even remotely expecting. Pretty sure we both said holy sh*t! Haha! I honestly think I will cry once I can yake the binder off and really see myself in normal clothes and sans drain bulbs. I don't want to cry yet as it will likely kill me to cry in pain right now haha! I'm day at post recovery and I found out sneezing was the most horrid thing in this world to out yourself through lol! I adore the staff, especially nurse Elaine, she's a true gem and the instructions were laid out so perfectly witht everything off the hop - payment, due dates, outline, what to expect, what to do, what not to do, how to do, etc. Dr Dawes personal cell number is even provider if any urgent issue, which was also something to put the mind at ease, as you feel you have options available every which way and taken care of :) I'm a really honest, say it as it is person and I never did feel nervous, taking off the robe, photos, or even day of surgery. The one con that happened, wasn't with Dr Dawes direct office and staff but at the surgical ctr where my surgery was performed. They were all super nice BUT being a T1D I had called in twice prior and confirmed they had everything a diabetic needs and what I should bring. I was told that I did not have to bring my insulin and well... turns out they didn't have insulin. I was annoyed as I made a ppint of asking in advance a couple times and told nope, just bring your blood monitor! So that was frustrating as my mom had dropped me off and my blood sugars were high as you reduce your nightly insulin to go for surgery, so I needed insulin, so she had to be called and told to bring my insulin (30 to 40 min drive both ways for my poor mom), then to top it off, they hadn't told her to bring needle heads for my pen needle, which my mom never thought of of course :S, so she again had to make the round trip :S. They were super apologetic not to just me, but also my mom. They believe it may have been a newer perapn at the facility that I had spoken with. This had nothing to do with Dr Dawes office though, as surgical ctr it's own operation all together. I was worried about them not doing the surgery as my bs's were high and thankfully, non issue as mom saved the day and to my utter delight, they took me back as soon as mom said she was enroute and they I was introduced to everyone in the room for my procedure which I truly enjoyed and they were all amazing! Dr Nanji, anesthesiologist was amazing and kind and I was out haha! I don't remember going home at all but I think I just went to bed, propped up on pillows behind me and under my legs. Mom also recieved next set of instructions when she picked me up and commented on how nice everyone was. I'm sure the drive home was a laugh, as I have quite a sense of humour and previous sedation has caused quite a ruckus ;) Next day, I think I felt stiff more than anything, truthfully, not anything I would call pain, more pain in the ass of being hunched over and being careful of the drains and having to constantly get up to pee <-- which is a good thing as means your kidneys and organs working! I was grunting a bit when I stood up and got tired more easily. I've been listening to my body and not pushing anything too far but also know the importance of getting up, moving, breathing exercises and well, day 8 and I'm moving great, feel great, had one drain removed yesterday and put on antibiotics as a preventative for infection sinxe the drains are open wounds and one is still in. I think I'll be able to get removed within a few days though. Even being down one drain feels like freedom haha! I got to see my new 'athletic belly button' yesterday and was shocked there was 15 or 18 stitches I believe she said - as also had stiches removed from belly button. Yesterday's appt was with nurse Elaine and so had another awesome appt and they booked me to meet with Dr Dawes before I left for next week for him to see the magnificent job he did <-- that's not what appt booked as but I like to think that ;) I am looking forward to that appt and he doesn't know this yet but he literally has changed my life. I've not left the house as recovering but I already feel so happy and my confidence has already been increased and this has changed my life! Thank you Dr Dawes and your magical surgical hands! You've already gifted me life and confidence back with this transformation and you exceeded expectations!! I'm super swollen and still have a drain bulb hanging out and feel this great already! Amazing :) To note, I'll try get around to post pics as it's unbelievable the transformation and also, I was NOT ever once asked to leave a review or anything at all. I think we all learn from one another and personal experiences, so I wanted to share mine so far to date. I'm proud of my super due diligence in whom I would worth and could not have been happier in my decision. One last thing... any other T1D's out there, if your blood sugars are controlled, you CAN have this procedure, you don't need to live with a diabetic tummy. If you're not controlled, well hard no of course but maybe something to work towards?!? :) So night before surgery, anesthesiologist got me to take 50% less night time insulin and after surgery, expect your blood sugars to be higher. I'm taking more fast acting right now which my endo and diabetes nurse and I worked towards pre-surgery. Which this is something I highly recommend as I felt prepared and not worried/nervous by working with my diabetes team b4 my surgery (also after too!) on the regular just on phone calls and what to expect etc. I am super grateful! Updated on 2 Sep 2022: Sorry, can't edit the orginal from what I see but should say day 8*** post op. So today Im adding this comment on day 9 post op and feel great. Just really looking forward to getting rid of the other drain bulb ;) Updated on 6 Sep 2022: Here's some shots that hopefully you can see why this was one of the best decisions of my life and why I'm saying I feel I already have confidence and life back :) My Mom, best friend and myself took some photos at different angles and all of them blow my mind and I can't wait to see the final result but this alone is just wow, so happy and grateful! I'm just going to upload them all, sorry if not in order. Also, day 13 today, hoping I can get rid of my left drain today and also meeting with Dr Dawes today as well! Yesterday, day 12 I was able to remove the Steri-strips, so photo in here somewhere ! Just went to upload photos and yay! I had seen some videos on youtube for this procedure and was considering flying to NY, TX and other American states to have it done. When I found Dr. Dawes office online (and bonus, it's right by my house!) he was rather quiet, and that worried me a little. But, in hindsight, it's because he knows what he's doing and he doesn't need to compensate for sub-excellent quality work through sales pitches or being dramatically charasmatic. I'm 2 days post op, and he did an incredible job removing my gyno (glands and excess fat on both sides.) My chest today vs. 2 days ago is literally night and day! The scarring is almost invisible, and there's minimal pain and very little bleeding which I have no doubt is down to his expertise. All in all, an incredible job with incredible results. The first 24 hours were a bit horrid (as expected) but now the discomfort is only due to the compression vest. Side note: he was slightly dearer than other surgeons I approached, but I'm exntremely glad I went with my gut. Go to the best the first time- seriously! Thank you once again Doc! I was looking for a way to refresh my appearance for my 57th birthday. I consulted Dr. Dawes and we develop a plan for a tummy tuck with lipo. He did an amazing job!!! I am two months post surgery and very impressed with the results. I was also very impressed with Dr. Dawes as his entire staff. Would highly recommend him!

This is my second Halo laser treatment from Dr Dawes' office. Nurse Christy was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Besides the wonderful and experienced medical team at Dr Dawes' office this treatment is fantastic. Your skin is rejuvenated and looks and feels younger in just a couple of weeks. The bonus of this treatment is it continues to rejuvenate for about 4 months and results last for about a year. This is the real deal. Very little discomfort but you need to hide out for about 5 days for the old skin to slough off. Super happy with everything and I feel quite affordable.

Definitely recommend Dr. Dawes! I got my breast augmentation done in November and I’m more than happy about the result. His work is incredible! He honestly exceeded all of my expectations. Dr. Dawes is very professional, knowledgeable and kind! He was very patient and answering all of my questions. His staff and nurses are also amazing! Super helpful and friendly. They always kept me informed and checked up on me. I felt very comfortable and safe throughout the whole process. So glad that I had the procedure done with Dr. Dawes!
