Complicated case - 19 days post-op very good otoplasty experience

My experience with Dr. Dawes and his team was excellent. Nurse Elaine, front desk Amanda and Dr. Dawes were fantastic. Nurse Elaine answered all of my questions which was particularly important for me after surgery, I really appreciated that. Dr. Dawes was great and very clear about the difficulty with my ears. He has a clear cut, straight forward style.

After surgery, I had some concerns with asymmetry, so much so that it caused me a lot of anxiety. I understood that I had a complicated case but still the result affected me emotionally. I decided to wait and see what Dr. Dawes would do/say before panicking. I was very, very relieved in my surgical follow up appointment when Dr. Dawes immediately saw what I saw and clearly said we would follow up and make a correction down the road in a few months after I've healed. I have never felt better about a Dr. visit than after that experience.

Pain management, surgical preparation, post-operation directions etc was very good. I had some pain but it was managed so well proactively that it was really minor. I'm from out of town and the team was very accommodating for travel.
