It was very good experience . I'm so happy about the final result .i look better than before and I'm confident of myself So glad to meet Dr .El Masri . He one of the best Dr in Toronto . I definetly remmoned to any one who want do plastic surgery
Very good experience, straight to the point and a good listener. I am happy with the results was good with the follow ups. You can tell he has lots of experience as he doesn't need a computer program to show you the possible results and convince you to have it done.
I'm a 25 year old female and I was unfortunate to have a pointy, and very long chin that I inherited from my father's side. I decided to get chin reduction surgery. It was extremely expensive, but the procedure was easy with two weeks of intense swelling. It's now 3 weeks after and I'm a new person. I had lip fillers in addition as I thought it would complete the look. They were both worth it. It's absolutely worth the money. You'll see from my before and after photos that my chin was quite intense. It's soft and shorter now and much more feminine. I couldn't be happier with the result. It's still a bit swollen yet, so it'll be a bit smaller yet by week 6. The scar is the only downside, it's quite big, but I know it will heal. They gave me lipo under my chin to tighten it which added to the cost which is why at $9000 CND is was very expensive. That money can't compare with my confidence boost. I'm so glad to have had it done! If you're thinking about it, do it. The clinic I went through was far from perfect but the end result was great. :) Updated on 4 Jul 2015: My chin is still a bit swollen but the scar is beginning to fade now. My chin is half of what it used to be and I feel so much better! I couldn't rave about it any more. Updated on 12 Nov 2015: There is STILL a slight bit of swelling, but the scar has reduced greatly under my chin. You can see that a visible dimple is now at the bottom of my chin, but I like it! The doctor said it was always there but only became visible after the surgery. I am quite happy with the results. My chin looks infinitely better from the profile and straight on, I don't believe it could be made any smaller, and if it was, it'd probably look weird. My lips I am happy with also but I wish they were a bit fuller still. I don't know if I'd recommend Dr. Elmasri if you want attentiveness and good aftercare, but he did a good job on my chin, that I cannot deny. I wish the swelling would go down completely so I can see the final end result. It's been a long and expensive journey but it was well worth it for my self esteem end happiness! Updated on 12 Nov 2015: Updated on 22 Jun 2016: It's been just over a year now since I had my chin surgery. My chin is still significatly better than it originally was. I don't have full sensitivity under my bottom lip but I feel that the trade off is worth it. The scar is still pretty strange looking, the skin was folded and looks strange from some angles. I can be nitpicky and say that it's far from perfect, but my chin does look a lot better. I had some tissue removed and I feel like some of it grew back (if that is even possible) but it's still not nearly as intense as it was. Overall, I am satisfied. This surgery changed my life. I just wish it was done better because my under chin is quite scared and strange looking. My lips are basically back to normal, so Tesoyl is really disappointing considering the clinic I went to marketed it as lasting 5 years. In any case, this update sounds negative, but I am happy, there are just a few disappointing factors. I don't know what I'd have to done if I'd never had this surgery!
My entire life i was so insecure about my prominent chin, especially when i smiled . I always hated my profile. Ive always desired a more feminine chin . After months of research and consultations finally today is the day i will make the change I've always wanted. Im nervous but excited to see the new and improved me . Updated on 16 Jun 2017: Surgery went well only took 1 1//2 hrs . Dr El Masri and the team of nurses and staff were amazing . Only 1 submental incision was made (under the chin) Dr El masri shaved down the excess bone and removed fatty tissue and then tucked it back under my chin. I was instructed to wear a tension wrap around my head for 24 hrs then continue to wear it to bed for the next week. The pain is tolerable however I feel more discomfort in my jaw then my chin ? I assume its because i had a breathing tube and my jaw may have been stretched for the duration of the procedure. I was given a Percocet and antibiotics prescription . Although I'm famished i don't think i will attempt to eat anything until day 2 . For now i will stick to protein shakes and soup . Although I'm very swollen and have a mummy wrap on i can already see a difference !!! Im anxiously waiting to remove the bandages and take a peek Updated on 17 Jun 2017: Woke up this morning my face is so swollen . I look like a chipmunk. Talking and laughing is difficult. I'm staying on a liquid diet until my swelling goes down. My skin feels very tight. Updated on 17 Jun 2017: Ny face is swollen like a blow fish i can see the difference already Updated on 26 Jun 2017: Stitches removed on 8th day scar is much bigger than i anticipated. Doctor gave me the ok to start applying the Mederma scar strips to help fade and flatten any scar tissue . My face is still very swollen 11 days post op . I continue to wear the compression band to bed and hope the swelling comes down sooner then later. I will be honest I'm kind of freaked out by how big my chin looks but i have to remind myself that this is normal and i have to be patient because the swelling takes time to subside. I have a follow up with the surgeon in 10 days Updated on 10 Jul 2017: Swelling is finally settling down. Scar has faded a bit .Im definitely happy with my profile now its softer and i believe is proportional to my face . My only concern is under my chin the scar still has a small lump at the side and slight swelling but my surgeon had assured me that this is nothing to worry about and I must be patient . Updated on 10 Aug 2017: I believe the swelling is completely gone however the incision area is still a little numb. The scar has faded significantly but i still have a little bit of a bump and the end of the incision. The doctor said not to worry this can be corrected i will go back to see him in a month .
