I believe the swelling is completely gone however the incision area is still a little numb. The scar has faded significantly but i still have a little bit of a bump and the end of the incision. The doctor said not to worry this can be corrected i will go back to see him in a month .

Thank you for sharing your story. You look amazing!! I'm looking into the same surgery and was curious if you went back for the bump under your chin? If so, what did they do to correct it? I'm a perfectionist so I know something small like that would be a big deal to me as well!
the bump has reduced significantly when I went to my follow up appointment two months post op the surgeon told me i had to wait for a full six months before he can decide if anything needs to be done. I will definitely post pictures when that time comes
Your chin looks amazing. I have a big pointed chin and have a consultation in Nov. for reduction. Hope mine turns out as pretty as yours...

This is so helpful I’m 3 weeks post op and freaked out by size of my chin and have been really hoping it goes down, I also have the exact same lump and it’s good to know it can be corrected, :) you’d looks fab!
Ps how long did it take to be able to eat totally comfortably again I’m still finding it quite painful and I’m very soar in the muscle on the front of my chin after eating?

Swelling is finally settling down. Scar has faded a bit .Im definitely happy with my profile now its softer and i believe is proportional to my face . My only concern is under my chin the scar still has a small lump at the side and slight swelling but my surgeon had assured me that this is nothing to worry about and I must be patient .

You should be massaging it to avoid scar tissue formation

They shaved off 9mm

They shaved off 9mm and a significant amount of tissue was removed
