Im actice duty and always struggled with my waist and back. I expressed the importance of how the outcome helps my career. He is beyond professional and extremely caring! I love the fact that he has several years of experience. He was very relaxing and understanding to my fears of the local anesthesia and made sure I was good and numb. He and Nurse Chris played my kind of music and I was completely relaxed the whole time. I have high anxiety and that is huge to be able to stay awake and smile while getting surgery. Of course I was a little sore but that lasted only 2 days. I had minimal bruising and I am headed tok the gym now, 3 days later to do some LIGHT workouts. I am planning on going back to get my arms and legs after my tour in Korea to him. He is a blessing and I am very picky when it comes to my body. That's my career. Thank you so much to Chelsea, DJ, Emmy, Ray, and of course Chris. You make a power team! I'll keep you posted on the recovery.
For my consultation I had realistic goals and I knew that there was no magic pill. I exercise regularly but I need to get rid of some stubborn fat. They answered all of my questions and the dates were set. I was very scared the day of my treatment because of all of the bad reviews about this company. The staff answered all of my question and addressed all of my concerns. The day I arrived I was very nervous. The nurse took my measurements and told me to put on this must have two piece. When she returned she gave me my cocktail and about 10mins later the doctor came in a marked his territory. The next thing I knew was walking into the room where the magic was going to happen. I really didn’t feel much but a little burning or pulling sensation at times but when he got to my flanks boy did that tickle. When he was done the nurses got me dressed and I was on my way home where I rested for the entire day and evening. Updated on 29 Nov 2017: Pain is at a level 6. Today is the day I get to take a much needed shower. Yeaaaa. Feel swollen but I’m happy so far!! The bandages were really gross though. I’m going to rest because I have to go to work tomorrow. What was really nice is that the doctor called me yesterday to check on me. That gave him a few extra points.???? Updated on 29 Nov 2017: This was a hard day only because I wanted to go to sleep and I was a little stiff. When I got home that hot shower was the best!!! Washed, dried my suit, ate dinner and back into my garment so I can go to bed!! My pain level today was still a six maybe I did too much. Oh well on a lighter note I took these pictures!! Updated on 29 Nov 2017: My first day back to work. Updated on 30 Nov 2017: The last two days have been rough. I gained 3lbs and I really don’t have an appetite. I haven’t eaten much because it feels like my stomach is going to pop!! I guess I’m swollen. Saturday will be a week and I feel like a stuffed turkey but they say give it a couple months and everything a be OK. I’m not taking pain medication even though I feel uncomfortable, this feeling is kind of bearable if I don’t do too much at work. I go for my one week postop on Wednesday so wish me luck. Updated on 7 Dec 2017: I’m still excited about my decision and the results so far. The nurse said that my incision sites are healing up great but they still see a lot of swelling and some of the swelling will go down within three months and more within six months today I got my stage two garment which is a lot more comfortable. I only have to wear for 12 hours but I like to wear it for a little longer. I no longer take pain medication so it’s like everything back to normal. They told me to start off doing light cardio in another week (which I am excited about). In about four to six weeks start doing a little abdominal exercise. Orlando Sono Bello is a great place staff. I’ll start my massages soon I can’t do them until two weeks post op Updated on 30 Jan 2018: I’m sooo happy with my results.. I’ve started going back to the gym. Doing little cardio and light weight training. I also try to make better choices with my food. I went from a medium to a extra small garment. Sono Bello did a great job I went to the one in Orlando. I’m kind of addicted to working out and eating right!!

I am thankful for this site and wanted to return the favor to other women considering explant. I was lucky that the Dr who put in the implants was also the one 25 years later to take them out. Dr Walter Siemien. I got the implants to begin with for my boyfriend, who later became my husband. Should have seen the signs, but young and dumb and after 5 years, left my 13 month old son and I for a stripper. That's a whole other story though. This explant is something that I have dreamed, desired and thought about daily. I met with Dr Siemien in November 2015, he completely understood my desire for removal and a date was set. This is a week ago, the next post is day of surgery. Updated on 2 Feb 2016: I am going to give a play by play because when I was searching this site, I tried to find anything on doing the procedure with local only and want to share that info for any other women considering this. My Dr does not believe in a "calming pill" early in the morning, so I just had to deal with what was ahead. Surgery was at 7:30 this morning. Arrived at the surgery center at 6:00, checked in, stripped down, hooked up iv, just in case needed. Blood pressure hookup, short ekg, and was in surgery arena at 7:25. Strap over legs, arms in T strap. A little concerned with this at first, but the nurses barley did the velco. Sheets layed all around my chest and a drape in front of my face. Dr S came in and we talked for a minute, he explained everything he would be doing, we had already done it in the preop appt, but fine to do again! He put on Taylor Swift, which I thought was funny for a man in his 50's, but it worked. He reassured me that I would not feel ANY pain during the removal and he would stop immediately if I did. Dr S began with Novocain shots, small pinches, I did hold my breath, but after that he rubbed and waited about 5 minutes to take effect. He did a test with a pinching device to see if I felt anything and I didn't at all. Dr S started on the left breast and made about an inch incision, he drained the implant, I could feel the very warm saline roll out on my side. Then he told me there would be pressure pulling the implant out. there was, but no pain, just a very weird sensation. I will say, my brain was in overdrive, spinning at the craziness of it all! Then came the irrigation wash, again no pain just such an odd feeling. There is also a suction and really, that was the oddest of all sensations. I did not feel a thing as he stitched the left up. I did not have capsular contraction, so the pocket was left as it was. He then moved to the right and did the whole thing again. He started at 7:38 and finished at 8:10. Yes, 30 minutes total! After the Dr left the nurses were impressed with his efficiency. Fingers crossed everything stays well! The great thing about local, was once they rolled me back I was out of there with my friend driving me home in 30 minutes. I would do it all over again the same way. When the nurses sat me up to bind me, I was SO nervous to look down, but they encouraged me to do so and I was pleasantly surprised! Tears rolled down my face and they were, no crying, but I told them they were tears of joy! Upon getting home, I took a pain pill, made myself some soup and just stayed in bed all day. It is 8:30 pm and I am getting ready to take another pill, no real pain just a slight discomfort on the left. I will post again tomorrow with day 1 post op pic. I hope this information helps any other women considering local. Updated on 3 Feb 2016: Today was not bad. Sleeping in an inclined position all night on my back was not the greatest. I am attaching a picture, but do not see much change. Just taking it easy today watching movies. Pain at incision slight 3-4. Took a pain pill, but now sitting on the couch no pain at all. Can't wait for a shower in the morning!! Has anyone covered incision site? Or just take shower and maybe use hair dryer to dry incision? Also I have pinrose drains, worry about that in the shower? Thanks! I'll update tomorrow.! Updated on 4 Feb 2016: Feeling even better today, almost a giddy feeling of happiness when I look in the mirror! Worth every penny I saved. I was told by the nurse in Dr office to try my best not to get water splashed in the drains, so I am uploading a crazy pic of my contraption for any others that may want an idea. It wasn't seal proof but definitely made a difference. I felt a little ill after my shower, but I had only had a cup of coffee today. I have dried my hair and back to bed. No pain in arms, breasts or incision. Hope these posts are helping any other women out there!
So I decided to have lipo done at Sonobello in Orlando with Dr. Siemian. I have been wanting to do lipo for YEARS. My abs and back have been problem areas for me my entire life. Even when I am 100% in shape, the fat in these areas just don't go away, so I decided it's time do something about it. I had y consultation on Friday Sept 26th with Chelsy. It was a really great experience. It was informative and I felt very comfortable. The reason why I decided to go with Sonobello is that they don't sell you dreams. Chelsy gave me a realistic expectation, which I was ok with, so I decided to go for it. I am going to get myself scheduled for Oct 24th, and take off Monday &Tuesday. I don't think I'll need the extra days, but they can't hurt. I'll keep everyone up-to-date as my surgery gets closer and I get it done. #excited Tx areas-Upper abs, lower abs, waist, bra rolls Updated on 16 Oct 2014: So tomorrow is my pre-op appointment with the Dr. I'll let you all know how that goes. My procedure is on the 24th. Updated on 18 Oct 2014: So, I had my pre-op appointment yesterday with Dr. Siemian. He is great. Very charismatic and great sense of humor. I'm glad I chose him. I have a good feeling. Anyways, I decided to add on an area...the lower back. I never noticed it until it was pointed out, so I added it in ($500). I was asked questions about my health, and he explained where he would be taking the fat from etc...It was enjoyable experience. 6 days till procedure!! Excited and nervous. Updated on 25 Oct 2014: So the procedure was a cinch. No pain just tickling around my ribs area. Once I got home and the numbing wore off is when the pain kicked in. Felt like I was run over by a semi. I took my pain meds and slept the rest of the day. Next day, still felt pretty scrappy but I was up and about. At times, I over did it but I'd just lay down. My first shower was heavenly. I was numb everywhere I lipo'd and the incisions were pretty much closing already. I leaked like crazy the first day and night but it seems to have subsided. I took some pics after my shower. I hate the ab binder but when I'm not in it my wounds hurt so I'm glad I have it. I'll post more later. Updated on 26 Oct 2014: Just wanted to add a pic from this morning. Updated on 28 Oct 2014: Now the soreness feels like you worked out really hard. The other days was pain. I am completely off pain meds, and mostly just taking allergy meds bc of the incision sites itching (healing). All my woulds are closed. The compression garment they gave me was too small. Not on the body, but the arms. I'm so glad I bought my own so I don't have to always be in that one. I'm totally over the abdominal binder too. Saturday can't get here soon enough. Once they measure me, I am going to the store and buying myself some stage 2 compression garments. I am healing really nicely and fast. My advise to everyone would be to get active quickly bc it increases circulation. You don't have to do much, but move about. Updated on 30 Oct 2014: I still get swollen at times, but not so bad. Still taking my arnica and drinking a liter of water a day. Feel good. Itching has stopped, but pins & needles feeling in some areas. Updated on 1 Nov 2014: Updated on 5 Nov 2014: Just posting a photo update. I'm actually taking a 6 day prednisone pack (for allergic reaction) and it is making my swelling nonexistent. I know that when I'm done (2mrw) it'll come right back, but enjoying the nonswelling while it lasts. Updated on 6 Nov 2014: So I'm finally getting hard areas. Some spots feel like rocks and kinda hurt. I start working out tomorrow so hopefully it'll break up the hard spots. Updated on 9 Nov 2014: Well, I thought I could at least do 3 days a week, but it looks like I can only do two (Fri/Sat). I'm sore and I swollen (although not badly), and I am taking everyone's advice to not overdue it. Two times a week is more than enough until I heal some more. I feel so good I forget I'm only 2 weeks out from surgery. I think if I was doing cardio, it wouldn't be so bad but Piyo (pilates/Yoga) is a bit more intense. Ok, now I am saying I'm doing 2 days, but if you all hear me trying to do more than that, tell me to slow down. In 2 more weeks I should be able to increase... Updated on 10 Nov 2014: So sore from working out, but a good sore. Was really swollen this evening. Idk why. Maybe from my Fri/Sat work out who knows. I have to keep reminding myself that results take 3-6 months so I'm not surprised by my soreness or pain. Updated on 22 Jan 2015: I haven't been on here in awhile. Just wanted to put up an updated pic. There are a couple hard spots but not much left to heal. I am very happy with the results. I paired the healing with a healthy diet and exercise. Updated on 22 Jan 2015:
I have done Laser Liposuction Last September 2016 with Dr. Walter Siemian at Sonobello, Orlando location. I don't see any kind of difference then and now. Still waiting for results. I'm just hoping it's not going to be a total waste of my money and time. I spent almost $5000. If I don't see any noticeable changes, I hope they will refund my money back.
I will never get a liposuction or any other procedure done again by Dr. Siemen at Sono Bello or even enter foot into Sono Bello. I can see why employee's come and go from that place. I paid so much much to get my abdominal and back with liposuction and ever since I can't get my treated area to look normal. Its looks so deformed that I can't even feel confident in my body. I was happy with my result before I got lipo and wanted to do some touch ups but I was a patient at Sono Bello that my lipo was done incorrectly. I put my faith in Sono Bello and the Doctor. I thought I was loosing my mind because mt stomach look deformed that I went to two different Plastic Surgery offices and many surgeons saw me and all said the same thing: THIS WAS A HORRIBLE JOB THAT WAS DONE, FAT WAS LEFT IN PLACES FAT WAS TAKEN OUT TO MUCH WHICH CAUSED DENTS AND DEFORMATION. I JUST WANT THIS CORRECTED. I have felt so sad and depressed after my liposuction that I recommended people not to go to this place. The staff may be nice but again you want extremely careful and best work possible and to me Sono Bello is not the place. I regret every getting a lipo done from Sono Bello, they have scared me for life and now I'm scared to even try to fix this deformation because I can't trust a Dr. anymore.
I've been carrying extra weight for the past 10 years, mostly came on with my last child 6 years ago. I've tried a number of things to lose weight including working out 4 days a week with strength training and cardio. I looked fit but was still 170 -180lbs. Juggling career, kids, rocky marriage has certainly taken its toll. At this stage, I know I'm getting older and things aren't getting any better from everything I've tried. Month after month, my goals of improving my appearance continue to go unmet. I started to consider Lipo in May 2014 when I went to a doctor about varicose veins and there were pamphlets for lipo. I asked for a consultation wihich we did on the spot but I discovered his child and mine were in class together (seemed like a conflict of interest.). I put the decision on hold until I could get things under control at work. Fast forward to June 2015, I consulted with Sono a Bello after reading a number of reviews. I have an autoimmune disorder so they wanted medical clearance yada yada. Now finally3 months later, I have paid for it and I have my procedure in 4 days. My hubby doesn't want me to do it. That's fine. He'll just see me when I get home from the procedure. It's my right to not look pregnant anymore 6 yrs after my last child and it is my right to feel good and confident about my appearance. I'm scared, nervous, and excited all at the same time for the possibilities. In clothes, other than an extended tummy, I don't look as heavy as I am but the PS will contouring the areas where I'll get the best result. I plan to continue my part of working out and being fit but I'm done waiting to see results from all that effort. Wish me luck!
I had my consultation with Sono Bella in Orlando yesterday Feb. 18th (consultation went great). I’m scheduled to meet with Doctor Siemian tomorrow, Feb. 20th. Surgery is set for Monday Feb. 24th. Today feb.19th I see my primary care provider and also my attorney just to cover all bases. This is a life changing experience and I don’t take it lightly. My prayer is that I get my self-esteem back. I had a psychical and tetanus shot last month but I asked my primary care provider and dermatologist to document my process. So I feel pretty safe and ready for a new me. I’ll post pics soon. Updated on 20 Feb 2014: Pre Op was today and I'm not sure what to think. The nurse was very helpful but the doctor seemed rushed. He was in and out so fast it kind of made me nervous. No examination of treatment areas, no pics, no marking to show me what to expect. He asked a few questions about my health and listened to my breathing but that was it. It’s too late to get my money back so all I can do is pray that things go well. Trust me I’m documenting everything and sharing with my PCP and family lawyer. I don’t have 5000.00 to throw away. I will keep you posted.. Updated on 22 Feb 2014: Surgery is set for Monday Feb 24, 2014. I start taking Arnicare today (48 hours pre-op) to help with bruising and swelling that's associated with this procedure. I've had my prescriptions filled and I've started my no salt, no caffine diet with plenty of water. I'm ready but I'm a nervous wreck. Updated on 25 Feb 2014: My procedure was yesterday and I did fell a little pain and un-comfort during procedure but nothing I couldn’t tolerate. I got home around 4pm and slept until this morning. The most painful part is getting in and out of bed but my hubby helped me up and down all day. I peed a lot, every 30 minutes or so, but I have been drinking water like crazy. I took over the counter extra strength pain relievers and that was enough to get me through today. I will take a prescription pain pill tonight to ensure I’m able to sleep without pain. Let me tell you that no matter what you read you will not be able to return to your normal routine the next day and you will need help changing pads on incisions. After procedure I was heavily medicated but I do remember that 2 containers were full of fat. I’ll find out the total amount removed during pot op. I haven’t seen my belly yet because it’s mandatory to keep CG on but I did a glimpse right after surgery when the nurse was putting on my CG and it my belly looked the grounded meat :-/ I’m not worried yet. Updated on 26 Feb 2014: Today my pain level is about the same as yesterday. Still taking over the counter extra strength pain relievers and they are doing the job for me. I'm trying to stay up and active for longer periods of time. Waiting for my hubby to get home so I can finally have a shower and put on a fresh CG. It's fun how excited I am about being able to shower lol. Updated on 27 Feb 2014: Today I don't know what's going on. This morning everything was fine but by mid-day my compression garment and binder feels 2 times smaller. I was expecting to swell but not this extreme pressure and pain. I have to stay medicated just to keep it on. Calling the office in the morning. Updated on 6 Mar 2014: So I had my one week pre-op yesterday. No doctor present but the nurse was very helpful and kind. For me the pain set in later than others I've read about, and the sad thing is I can't get the clinic to respond to my request to refill or provide some type of meds. Over the counter pain relievers are not doing the job anymore. It feels like I've been kicked in my ribs and chest bone by a large horse. I can't even tell you if I've seen a chance since my procedure because taking off the garment is so painful all I can do it get it off shower quickly put it back on and lay down :-( Is this normal? Updated on 10 Mar 2014: Today makes 2 week since procedure. I feel a lot better but I do not like what I am seeing. I'm trying to remain positive until week 6 but it's hard when I see this every time I shower. I was told I only needed to wear my CG 12 hours a day with the option of wearing it more often. I am keeping the CG of 24/7 except when showering just because I feel more secure. Updated on 10 Mar 2014: See the creases, can someone tell me if that's normal and will it go away? Updated on 2 Jun 2014: Bottom line is I am very unhappy. My belly is an uneven lumpy mess. I was told that it's because of the swelling and that I need venus treatment, so that additional $$. I was also told that I may need a redo to get areas missed :-(. Updated on 21 Sep 2015: IF I HAD IT TO DO AGAIN I WOULD NOT HAVE SPENT MY MONEY ON THIS AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR OR FACILITY.
