Underwent a tummy tuck with revision from a prior liposuction I had several years ago, developed fibrosis and was not happy. I chose dr mehta of Mehta Bariatric center in Princeton NJ and i'm extremely happy with my results and care I've received, his staff is excellent especially LULU, and his care is top notch. Dr Mehta is caring and very attentive to his patients needs and aftercare, I highly recommend him and I give him 5 stars.
I had both my legs liposuction done with Dr. Mehta. He has very good bedside manners. I wasn’t satisfied when he did my liposuction the first time. When I went back to him with that concern he offered to correct it. He did charge a little more to cover his operation theatre costs, but I think the second time results were much better. I spent 5000$ on getting my legs liposuction done with him. Overall a Good doctor and Good staff!
I found Dr. Mehta while looking up doctors that perform liposuction on the ankles because there are very few in NJ. I had a great experience so far. Dr. Mehta and his staff were very friendly and helpful.
I am scheduled for lipo and bbl fat transfer on June 28th. I am really getting nervous. I am more nervous about my outcome as opposed to the procedure itself. I don’t want to waste my money because this stuff is expensive...... I wanted to loose a few pounds before my procedure but I guess I am ok 162lbs 5’6. I did loose like 4 lbs and my buttocks it even more flatter. I am posting my before photos now.... and I look a hot mess. I look really good in clothes - you can’t see all the flaws. Updated on 7 Jul 2018: This has been a journey. Lots of issues with pain and discomfort. I had to go back to work and school this week too and what a mess that was. I am glad with my results thus far my body was a square.... literally. I wanted some shape but not a huge butt. My belly is really swollen still but what a significant difference. I just can’t wait to get back to my normal activities and go get a nice martini. I posted pics but I am not good at taking photos- trying to get lessons from my dgtr...lmao
I was very determined to do this and talking with Dr.Mehta amd his staff made it easier . I was nervous at first but he made me feel comfortable. During the procedure he talked me through it and made me feel calm and at ease . After the procedure the staff followed up and made sure I was okay and didn't have any negative side affects or a fever. They even helped me with getting a new garment as mine got too big!! Very excited about that it was so many too choose from online . I definitely recommend him to anyone looking !
14 weeks PO and I am loving the new me. There have been a few ups and downs. I previously had two c-sections so I was no stranger to surgery. However, this was definitely more invasive than those. I'm an active working mom who fills many roles in my household. Just to list a few: chauffeur, cook, housekeeper, handy woman, gardener, interior/exterior decorator, event planner, volunteer, painter. It was definitely culture shock to completely hand the reigns over various other individuals and ask for help in every area of my life. It was a chore to even wipe my own tush after the surgery. However, it also taught me a great lesson of humility and that my efforts to raise caring, kind, helpful, respectful and responsible individuals has not been a waste. LOL My kids were instrumental in assisting with my needs during recovery. My TT was on June 20th, I had muscle repair with interior corset stitches to repair a hernia in three places from my pregnancy with my twins. I had excessive skin that was like an overlap around pelvic area as well as loose skin above my belly button. I've tried Trainers, Weight Watchers, creams etc. but nothing was a viable option except for a TT. I'm very happy that I chose to move forward with the surgery. One of my drains was removed 10 days PO and the second was removed 18 days PO. Even with the swelling, I look like a completely different person. I slept in the recliner for the first 11 days as I could not stand the pulling sensation when I tried to lay down in the bed even with pillows propped all over my body. I didn't have must of an appetite and I definitely had to keep a close watch on my medicine schedule as a few times I let the dosage time pass and I paid for it dearly trying to calm the pain. The recliner was an absolute necessity for this procedure and I am so thankful that I discovered this on real self before my surgery. My restroom trips were frequent but moving around helped with the stiffness and soreness. I used a walker for the first few days as my equilibrium was definitely off. I was extremely tired after the surgery and that improves with them but I still have way less energy PO than I did before my surgery. My doctor gave instructions to take Vitamin C to assist in the healing process and to help with my energy level and it helps. Ice packs were definitely imperative when the pulling sensation was unbearable. All I came say is keep pushing forward after your surgery as things will improve. I have not lost many pounds and I'm swelling and retaining water but the results are still remarkable. I've started a low carb/low sodium diet and increased my walks to 3 miles per day so I will keep you posted on my results. I previously would walk about 5 to 6 miles per day so I’m hoping to get there soon. I've noticed that the more physical activity I do the more I swell and am sore. However, it’s actually motivation to continue. I'm excited to see the final results of my TT around Christmas. My doctor says I was not a candidate for Lipo in my abdominal region because there was no fat that needed to be removed just tons of sagging skin. I do not have lots of before pictures as I will retrieve those at my next doctors visit but I will post what I have. The recovery process has been very slow with the muscle repair but each week I am able to do more and more.
My experience during consultation and before surgery was awesome nice staff, informative etc. I went in for tumescent lipo. At the time I was 29 which was in 2018 fairly in shape but just wanted to flatten out my stomach and also be a bit more curvier. During the surgery he was super rough, not very kind, and rushed through it once I complained about the back area. He literally spent maybe an hour on me if that. I was rushed out and the results were for me were incomplete. I regret choosing this doctor so bad. The worst money I ever spent. I would not recommend.
Well, staff was nice and helpful. Doctor was cordial, not too personable, unfortunately as many doctors are but overall no complaints about him or staff. As for the procedure I had...very minimal results. Probably should have been alarmed when he only had pictures of the 4 satisfied clients he has on his website probably from 2005, but you live and you learn. So if you are going for liposuction, make sure you ask about HOW MANY CC's can be removed from your areas, otherwise he'll remove just enough to help you get into your old jeans and back in his office for more. If you want something drastic, spend your money on a Miami doctor or international one because this doctor here isn't it. To be fair, I do appreciate the contour he gave me but the fat is still there. He removed 1000ccs on a 5' 2", 180lb woman. Mind you I had upper, lower abdomen and flanks done. Lol 4 areas equaling 1 liter only! So he said, did I see it...nope! Basically he had me walking out of there looking like I went on a diet and lost about 5 lbs. Yea results are a joke. So much a joke that I went to another doctor for a revision consultation and the doctor didn't believe I had lipo! He thought I meant Coolscultping! Dr. Mehta will probably claim you "don't have that much fat" so do your research and make sure you and him are CLEAR on what you expect from the procedure unless u have a few thousand dollars that you want to give away to him for very little in return.
This doctor ruined my life and left me permanently deformed. He botched my bbl not once but twice. I once trusted this doctor. He messed up my first bbl and I believe in him and let him do a revision, which made matters worst. I had take a hefty loan to do a revision with a certified surgeon and still the deformity is present. This put me into a deep depression. I regret I have met this doctor. He’s not a certified surgeon and he gain he’s client by offering a cheaper rate whilst he doing botched work.
Today I got my consultation with the actual Dr which was on time and it was an overall good experience. Book Consultation: Easy and they followed up thru text which was convenient because I had to cancel a few times and they didn't give me a hard time about rescheduling. Appointment: I actually was seen on time for my appointment which obviously made me happy. Consult w/Dr.: to be honest because I'm considered obese most doctors would not take me. But I was able to have a real conversation with the doctor and we spoke about body composition verse just using the BMI to determine whether I would be eligible. In my particular case no matter the amount of fat that I have on my body I will always fall into the obese category because I'm very muscular. So what I liked about him is that he allowed for the conversation to be had about body composition and my particular case and I know with some other doctors you might be seen by someone not the doctor and by BMI alone you can be excluded from getting these type of procedures. Now we did go into my background and my health and my particular case by BMI I'm obese but by body composition I'm actually pretty healthy and I work out everyday I don't eat alot unfortunately genetics has not blessed ME. He did also note to himself that culturally Black people do care more about the shape then being skinny, so I wasn't the first. One thing that did allow him to say yes to me was definitely having realistic expectations. I personally just wanted to change the mold that my body was in I wasn't necessarily trying to lose weight and be skinny I'm just changing my outline. This was a big concern of his because in the past he mentioned other larger patients asking for the same thing and not being satisfied but they didn't have the same expectations as I do. So in the consult I definitely set realistic expectations for my back and for my butt. In my butt area I just wanted to be shaped and filled in I wasn't asking for a bigger but just a more shapely one which he was fine with. When it came to my back fat my goal is basically to change my overall shape from being Square to having a feminine outline. Because I am bigger and he wants to be more aggressive with the amount of fat he can take out I did have to get my procedure done at the hospital which stacked on an extra 2K but I was prepared for that. We also talked about the different lasers unfortunately I couldn't get Vaso at the hospital but he said the PAL preserves more fat anyway for the fat transfer to my butt. Im really excited about this procedure and hope I can book soon. Updated on 1 Jul 2019: My update is based on business practices. Basically I was approved and then when I went to book I was unapproved bc he felt like "I wouldn't like my results" he had weeks to do it or not approve me from the beginning, so my problem was not being unapproved but that he wasn't willing to refund the cost of the personal loan I took out to pay for it. ~$400 plus his $50 consultantion fee. I honestly wouldn't be upset if I wasn't out of a procedure and money. I ended up going with another Dr. And so far so good. I'm actually very pleased with the results. Can't wait for the swelling to go down.
