Lipo with fat transfer bbl

WORTH IT
I am scheduled for lipo and bbl fat transfer on June 28th. I am really getting nervous. I am more nervous about my outcome as opposed to the procedure itself. I don’t want to waste my money because this stuff is expensive...... I wanted to loose a few pounds before my procedure but I guess I am ok 162lbs 5’6. I did loose like 4 lbs and my buttocks it even more flatter. I am posting my before photos now.... and I look a hot mess. I look really good in clothes - you can’t see all the flaws.

Yes I will post pics in a few days. Right now in a lot of pain. Have to keep on the compression for 48 hrs around the clock then I can take it off to shower. My stomach area hurts worse than my ass. But otherwise I am ok.

Thi has been a journey..... the recovery is something serious. I am miserable can’t sit , belly hurt , buttocks hurt. I can’t even understand why we do this to ourselves. Anyways .... lots of swelling to my abdomen area, buttocks is good. I did not want a large ass.... lol. I just wanted I nice booty. I am very pleased this far with my results. I will post pics but I suck at taking pics and my dgtr is not trying to help me out...

This has been a journey. Lots of issues with pain and discomfort. I had to go back to work and school this week too and what a mess that was. I am glad with my results thus far my body was a square.... literally. I wanted some shape but not a huge butt. My belly is really swollen still but what a significant difference. I just can’t wait to get back to my normal activities and go get a nice martini. I posted pics but I am not good at taking photos- trying to get lessons from my dgtr...lmao

How was going back to work and school 9 days post op? I’m having Lipo and a bbl done next week and can only afford to take 3 days off of school. I’m also worried about not sitting on my butt in school. I will try to sit on my thighs but I’ll be sitting for 2 and a Half hours everyday in school so hopefully I don’t ruin my results. Any advice about that would be very helpful thank you! Idk if I should just get the Lipo or get the bbl too :( I don’t want to waste my money if I ruin my results by returning to school 3 days later

I went back to work in 3 days. But I work from home and I sit all day. I was miserable but it was manageable. U have to use your bbl pillow if u will be sitting at all or some sort of pillow. It is difficult sitting on your thighs even with the pillow. Sit in the back of the class take your pillow in a bag - but u don’t want to waste your money by sitting on your fat transfer. I have low pain tolerance but I won’t really take strong medicine like the narcotics unless absolutely necessary. I still have pain but it is progressively getting better. Are you doing the tumescent procedure or general anesthesia? I did tumescent and I was in pain during the procedure - despite getting additional lidocaine. I feel and look good not perfect but 100% better than before having any procedures.

I’m also getting it done by the same surgeon as you. I sold have mentioned that lol. How was the pain? I’ve heard it’s bad and I’ve heard it’s not that bad so idk how to gauge it. I had a tummy tuck two years ago so as long as it’s not as bad as that I’ll be fine. I have a pretty high pain tolerance.

Oh no really?? That’s scary! I was afraid of that. I’m doing the local anesthesia. How bad was the pain during the procedure? Was it tolerable or really bad? I initially went in just for a Lipo consult because I thought I wouldn’t be able to do the recovery for a bbl but Dr. Mehta told me to just sit forward on my thighs because bringing a pillow to class for me won’t be doable. We have assigned seats and I sit in the front. I’m a law student and everyone will figure out why I’m sitting on the pillow lmao for discretion reasons I wouldn’t be able to do that :( he told me I’d only have to do that for two weeks. How long was it before you started sitting? I also have a midterm 11 days after my surgery so I’m worried if the surgery will interfere too much with that. Idk if I should reschedule for December during my winter break or just get the Lipo next week without the bbl :/ ugh this is hard.

Also could you walk normal right after the procedure? I have kids so I’ll have to be able to walk around and tend to them by the next day. Sorry for all the questions. I’m just trying to get an overview of what it’s actially like from all angles

OMG.... u have a lot on your plate. Everybody’s recovery and experience is different. So you may not have any of the issues I had. I walked fine afterwards a little slower my husband did like everything for me during the first few days. By day 3 I was taking my own showers but I didn’t drive for 2 weeks in fact I didn’t even go out the house because I work from home and my NP classes are all on line. I think my bbl was the worse it’s soreness and only being able to lay on ur belly or side was a challenge. I kept saying why would I do this to myself....lol. But after 2 wks I was use to the adjustments. Now the lipo was another thing I kept getting these weird sensations like something crawling in my stomach or a baby moving around. Add the itching and burning sensation on top of that. But the compression and foam does bring some comfort. Now I did my research I knew the number of ccs I wanted in each butt cheek. Also almost all the research I found suggest 4-6 weeks off of your bbl. I did not sit down without my pillow for 6 weeks. Maybe if I would have been more active after sx I would have been better. So it is doable 2 1/2 hrs is not to bad but u really shouldn’t be sitting on your transfer. Trust me it is not easy just to try and sit on your thighs. But you sound like a strong lady so you can do it.... it is just going to be a challenge.
