** Sorry for the long review but it is important to read the whole review in order not to be a VICTIM of trust on this doctor like me!!
Hello,
My name is Murad, i am a 27 years old male. I was interested in fat transfer to my face for a long time. my face is thin and i would be happy to add some volume (fat) to it. On December 2018, i was in Istanbul for a vacation with my family, and there i contacted Dr. Ozyigit. I talked with Didem by WhatsApp who introduced herself as Dr. Ozyigit’s wife and also his assistant (coordinator), she welcomed me and talked to me in a lovely and friendly way (which will turn later to a rude and carelessness way of talking!). I told her about my desire (fat transfer to my face) and she asked me to send her photos of my face. I sent her some photos of me, she showed the photos to Dr. Ozyigit whose answer was that i don’t need fat transfer because my face will look heavy with fat transfer and what i really need is jaw angles implants, since i have weak jawlines (jaw angles). I told her that i didn’t hear before about these kind of implants and she said i can arrange for you an appointment with Dr. Ozyigit and he will give you more details about these procedure and will answer your questions, i said okay and she booked an appointment for me to the next day. I came to the appointment with my father. Dr. Ozyigit welcomed us, he looked at my face and said that in addition to my weak jawlines, i have also a weak chin that needs a chin implant which will enhance the appearance of my chin. Then, me and my father started to ask him questions about these surgeries, how it is performed? What are the risks? Does these implants will give me what i want (more full/fat face)? And he said YES!! About the approach of each implant he said that the jawline implants will be inserted through the mouth (intraoral approach) and the chin implant will be inserted through an incision under the chin (external approach). I wanted so much a change in my face’s appearance, so i trusted what he said, and also i didn’t have a time to think and search in the internet about these surgeries, since i am in Istanbul for a short vacation. So, at the end of the appointment i decided that i will do the jawline implants surgery and i will think about the chin implant surgery until next day (surgery’s day) if to have it done or not. We paid a part of the cost of the surgery, and i was told to be at the hospital at the early morning in order to do all the preparation processes before the surgery. Next day, i arrived at the early morning to the hospital with my father, was registered at the reception office, got a hospitalization room, did all the preparation procedures and waited for Dr. Ozyigit to come to my room. He came to my room and asked me if i want to do also the chin implant surgery and i said yes, and he said excellent choice. He took some pictures of my face pre- surgery and said that the surgery will be in 2-3 hours (depends on the other surgeries). I waited with my father in the room, and when my surgery’s time came, i was transferred to the operations room. When i woke up from the surgery, i had a severe pain, the nurse gave me a powerful painkiller that relieve the pain temporary. At that moment my face was covered with garment compression to control swelling. I stayed at the hospital two nights. At the last day in the hospital Dr. Ozyigit came to my room and take off the garment compression from my face and show me in front of the mirror my face, when i see my face, i can’t still looking at it, i went away from the mirror with tears dropping from my eyes. Then he talked with my father and told him that there is a lot of swelling now and he will see the final result in 12 weeks and if he still don’t like the appearance, he can back to istanbul and get them (the implants) removed and his face will back to its shape and look that was pre- surgery. After i left the hospital, i stayed another night in Istanbul and flew back home. At home, i took care of myself, did all the recommendations i was told to do. When i took off the garment compression from my head in order to take a shower I REVEALED that the chin implant WAS NOT inserted through a sub-mental approach (incision under my chin), CONTRARY to what we agreed pre- surgery, and it WAS DONE through an incision inside the mouth (intraoral approach), which will be later the cause of my terrible problems!!!!! Then I asked Didem why it was inserted through an incision inside my mouth and not an incision under my chin and she ignored my question and didn’t answer me!! I stayed with garment compression on my head for 10 days (in accordance with the instructions i received from Dr. Ozyigit). I have to say that i didn’t like my face look with implants from the first day after surgery, it seems unnatural and didn’t fulfill my desire that i did this surgery because of it! But i was told by Didem and Dr. Ozyigit to be patient, there is a lot of swelling and that i can’t judge the results until 12 weeks, when swelling will subside and the appearance will be much more close to the final result. So, I waited until the swelling went down, but everyday i was shocked more with unnatural look of my face. I locked myself at home, had a depression and had a lot of worries and problems with my chin and lips, difficulty in talking, restricted movement of lower lop while talking and eating. I started to read at RealSelf and revealed that all my problems are considered a possible risks of the procedures i had that i heard for the FIRST TIME!!! I read also that a lot of plastic surgeons don’t recommend or do the intraoral approach of chin implant due to its risks and complications which i am suffering from them until this moment!!!! At that time Didem starts to behave and speak impatiently to me when i needed answers from Dr. Ozyigit regarding my concerns!!!! two months and half after surgery when most of the swelling subsided and i could see the final result which is UNNATURAL at all, i decided to have the implants removed. i contacted Dr. Ozyigit’s wife and set a date for a surgery in order to remove the implants.
I went to Istanbul with my father and had the implants removed by a surgery, i stayed one night at the hospital for monitoring and flew back home the day after. It was again the same instructions as the first surgery. I took care of myself at home hopefully i will heal fast and back to normal life BUT it wasn’t the case!!
It’s been now 7 months since the surgery of the implants removal and i am suffering everyday!! My life has been destroyed, i am desperate and sad all the time. The only thing Dr. Ozyigit succeeded in it, is to remove the smile from my face!! And DESPITE all that, his wife Didem ignore my messages and my questions to Dr. Ozyigit, started to talk to me in a rude and indifference way (If you will do a comparison between her talking before the surgeries and now, you will say NO WAY this is the same person!!). It is been 7 months now and i still have problems with the movement of my lower lip while talking and eating, i have a clear asymmetric chin, my chin look like a ball that is caused by the expansion of the soft tissue in my chin, i have sensitivity and swelling in my lower lip. I visited three plastic surgeons (Two of them from my country and one from Istanbul). i showed them photos of my face before and after the implants and they ALL agreed that the outcome is UNNATURAL and it was not the right choice!! I asked them if the fat transfer to my face would meets my desire and they said YES!! Now i have to wait 4 months in order to try solving the problems i have and doctors are not sure that there is something that can be done in order to correct/ solve them :(
In parallel, I’m checking with lawyers the subject of “changing the insertion approach of the chin implant without telling me” in order to file a lawsuit against him.
I learned a painful lesson for life, BUT i will be happy if my story will prevent future VICTIMS, like me, by this doctor.
Thank you for reading and sorry for the long review.
With love,
Murad
Updated on 9 Dec 2019:
Now it has been 9 months since the second surgery (implants removal). Swelling of my chin goes down a little bit, Sensation of my chin and lower lip improved, sensitivity on my chin and lower lip decreased but i still have sensitivity. Still there is a visible asymmetric and deformed chin shape. Also i still have swelling in my lower lip, also i still have problems with the movement of my lower that affect my talking :( i am depressed and praying that these problems will be resolved by one year with no need for medical intervention in order to try repairing them.
Dr. Ozyigit sent me a warning letter by a lawyer because i am sharing my awful 100% TRUE experience with people in the social media !!!!
Every word in my review is TRUE and i will not stop from sharing my bad experience with him.
I hope that my problems will be resolved and i will back to my appearance and functioning pre surgeries i miss my pre surgery’s life and person so much :(
I will continue to update you.

I still have problems with the movement of my lower lip while talking. My life has been destroyed :( he succeeded to remove the smile from my face :( all the doctors i met agreed that the results are unnatural and that there is a clear asymmetry in my chin with the implants. I will leave you to judge by yourselves. I hope that i will find a doctor who will give me back my life and my smile

Hello Everyone,
So i am now 2 years and 1 month after the second the surgery (implants removal) and i am still suffering from the damage that Dr. Ozyigit did for me!! My chin didn't back to its normal shape. I have an asymmetric chin that because of it i am facing harassment and sarcasm from people in the street permanently!! I still have problems with my lower lip movement!! I i have visited many plastic surgeons in the lately, and i will have a fat transfer surgery in the close time in order to fix the asymmetry in my chin area and to give more fullness face. A surgery that from the beginning i wanted to do but Dr. Ozyigit thought it doesn't suit my face!!!! But the unnatural look with the implant; YES IT IS SUITABLE TO MY FACE!!!!!!!!! I show plastic surgeons my photos with the implants and they said that first; the implant in the chin is not placed correctly (it is called implant maloposition). Second, even if it was placed correctly it is not the correct size for my face and because of that you will get an unnatural look!!!
I am trying all the time to be optimistic and strong, but i can't hide my depression. I am facing a huge amount of harassment from people because of the damage he did for my face!!! I hope that the coming fat transfer surgery will give me the satisfaction and happiness i missed so much.
My mistake was that i trust him so fast. Time can't be reversed, i will live with mistake all my life. I don't wish what happened to me even to my enemies!! So this is my advice to you. Don't trust plastic surgeons so fast. Investigate deeply, see at least three plastic surgeons, don't choose the cheapest offer!!! There are a lot of unskilled surgeons that can destroy your life in one minute!!! Be careful please
With love,
Murad
