My experience with Dr Burnett was the best ever it’s going to be 2 years since I had my surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for more. 1st of all kudos to her staff supper friendly and great service. Dr Burnett was so honest to me and advise me what would look great on my body frame and I’m so happy I followed her recommendation. I definitely recommend her and trust her with my eyes closed. Thank you soo much..
With any major surgery it’s important to do research first. Not only on the surgery but the physician that will be taking care of you. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Burnett!! She’s as kind as she is skilled. I love how honest she was through the entire process. Sometimes you go into something thinking you know exactly what you want and end up being educated and find out what you actually want. The size I chose was slightly larger than I had anticipated but with her guidance I realized that if I had gotten smaller it was have looked silly with my stature and rib width. (Trust me, your surgeon knows more than you do!!) I was concerned with a tattoo I have looking jacked up or uneven but the placement was perfect and compliments it SO WELL!! I also really wanted a natural look, feel and “fall” Ya know.. not the early 2000 circle bags. Ohhh man did she deliver!!! My breasts are so perfectly positioned and look natural. If you want the best go to the best and DO NOT be cheap about such a major body modification!! Amazing bedside manor, check Amazing surgical experience (if you can even say that), check Quick and easy downtime/healing, check Exactly what I wanted... check check check! Also note I had two procedures with two separate doctors at the Naficy Center and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Superior everything.
I'm 48 and age was starting to catch up with me. I was looking for something that would give me some lift while still looking natural. Dr. Burnett consulted with my husband and I and discussed all of my options. The staff make you feel very comfortable during the entire process. After we left our consultation, we continued to have questions, and they were very responsive. The ladies at the front are always in a good mood and make you feel very welcome! About a month after the procedure, I was have some extreme discomfort and after talking with Dr. Burnett, it turns out crutches aren't a good idea (even after 5 weeks).
The very first time I met with Dr. Burnett I was instantly reassured that she would help me. I developed a rare side effect from CoolSculpting and needed help correcting this issue. She understood my condition and made me feel comfortable and confident that she could help me. My results are absolutely amazing and I’m so thankful for everything she has done for me!
Dr Burnett was so wonderful and thoughtful. She answered all questions and concerns about my procedure and kept in touch via text the days after my surgery. The experience at Naficy was amazing and I will continue to choose them for any future treatments. Thank you to the kind staff and a special thanks to Dr Burnett for her expertise and knowledge.
Dr. Brunett was the first and only PS I met with for my breast augmentation. She was open and up front with me regarding my expectations vs real results. She listened, and advised without discouraging me. I was torn between two sizes and she helped me decide toward a more conservative side and I am glad that I did! With a petite frame, I wanted my results to look mature and natural without being distasteful and she did just that. I will ALWAYS refer to Dr. Teri Brunett for breast augmentation.
My experience with Dr. Burnett was terrible. I saw her for a breast reduction about 18 months ago and am very unhappy with my results as well as my experience with her. To start - I am unhappy with the scars I have been left with. While healing I had concerns my incisions had been open too long and when I asked about it I was dismissed. My scars ended up healing pretty poorly and are very visible. When I went in for my check-up there was mention that it was likely because my scars remained open for too long which is what I had tried to express while healing. Two - I was unhappy with the size (felt they were bigger than what we had discussed) and even considered a revision but when I went to inquire about this, I was quoted nearly $20,000. Now, I have strange bumps that have appeared where my incisions are and when I asked about those I was dismissed again and told I must have a skin condition. She was extremely deflective and seemed offended I would imply they could be from my surgery when her nurses were the ones who told me they were most likely from sutures that have not dissolved. I also had asked my general practitioner about it and they had said it was likely from the surgery. Aside from all of that, most of my interactions with her were very strange and there was definitely a lack of accountability or care for her patient. I was simply inquiring for the sake of my own health and trying to get the best results that I paid several thousands of dollars for.
I waited 4 months after my second surgery on my breasts with Dr. Burnett to write this review. My first surgery was last November and it did not go well. My implants shifted within the first two weeks. I didn't look like a woman. I was in a lot of pain. I was concerned and very depressed. My biggest issue with Dr. Burnett is the lack of communication. She knew why my breasts shifted and didn't tell me. There was more concern about legality than letting her patient know why the surgery didn't work. Or how to help me. I was told I needed a revision but no answer to why or comfort that I would be taken care of. It wasn't until I complained that I was given any information. In June I had my revision surgery. At first things seemed fine but my breasts have not settle correctly. The implant in my right breast shifts and looks flat on the bottom. Luckily, this time I am not in pain, but they aren’t how they should be. When I reached out to Dr. Burnett once again I got what I should have expected. A lack of empathy and total annoyance. When I asked for suggestions on what might help her response was "constant massage would help but you can't do that all the time." So after almost a year and two surgeries I am leaving this review. I know now how important it is to feel like your surgeon cares and will listen. Standing in front of Dr. Burnett naked was humiliating every time. Rather than offering help or making me feel like things would be okay she blamed my body on what went wrong with the surgeries. One appointment she giggled at my naked body and said, "I don't know why they look like that." It was a terrible experience with Dr. Burnett. I will need a surgery to correct what was done at Naficy.
1. Waiting time was 20 minutes because they were running behind with their schedules. 2. I emailed my questions and concerns before my appointment. The PCC answered my email but no response from Dr. Burnett. I had Breast Augmentation with Dr Jourdan Gottlieb at this facility in July 2013. Now my left breast drops down quite a bit causing my breasts are out of balance in position. First she has no idea what is wrong with the imbalance even though she criticize Dr. Gottlieb's incisions, she did not think his work is good enough. Then she concluded that I have Capsular Contracture because the PCC thinks that is the case and told me that Allergan will pay for it. However, they told me that I had to pay the whole cost of the surgery of $7,488 including the implant instead of having Allergan ship the new one to their facility for the revision surgery. I was provided a quote of $7,488 to revise one breast and that costs more than a new procedure considering this is a revision that I do not have control of. I know I would responsible for some cost but the practice should have some accountability of offering discounting the cost due to the circumstance. They billed the facility cost on the revision surgery is even more expensive than the new procedure. That is so ripped of and unfair to the patient. I also thought the facility would be responsible to submit the claim with Allergan and help me getting the implants exchange and reduce the cost. However, this facility takes no accountability and responsibility to help the patient. Instead I received an email to tell me to contact Allergan myself without providing me any info on my implants. During my appointment, I expressed my disappointment in the price quote and requested to have the practice manager to give me a call to discuss the malpractice and requested someone to start filling the claim with Allergan and providing a fair and reasonable price for the revision but I get no help besides receiving an expensive quote! After multiple emails follow up, I finally got a call and an email from the practice manager and she basically said she has no good news for me. Either pay $7,488 for the revision of one breast or takes it somewhere else!!! Why would I want to pay $7,488 for a Dr who does not know what she is taking about? She is lack of experienced and have no compassionate!!! All this Dr and facility care about is maximizing their profit and takes zero responsibility and accountability to patients. They will bill you as much as they can get and they have no consideration and no care for patients but their own profit and bottom line. Stay away from Dr Teri Burnett and this practice.
