Hello88,&nbsp; that is a&nbsp; very good question.&nbsp; Short answer is yes.&nbsp; Precision tx can destroy sweat glands anywhere in the body.&nbsp; The issue may be the comfort level of the physician&nbsp;performing the procedure.&nbsp; Another option that could be used to reduce sweating in this area is botox.&nbsp;

I would like to have apocrine sweat glands to be done away with because of strong odor.

Can I get Precision TX done in the groin area?

Hello Kellygreen7,&nbsp; I think the issue could be that Precision Tx was not the right choice to start with.&nbsp; The area of your concern from what I can see is the muscular bands although its difficult to tell.&nbsp; The Platysmal bands should be treated with botox.&nbsp; Many patients need botox of these bands prior to Precision Tx, even if they are good candidates for the treatment to begin with.&nbsp; Also, in order to get the skin tightening bonus of Precision Tx the physician performing the procedure needs to be well trained in delivering the correct amount of energy to the area treated.&nbsp; I hope this helps.

I had precision tx to tighten neck and jowls. I feel like I look worse,now I have very visible cords which makes me look older. I just went in for my 2nd follow up appt,dr didn't even show me the comparison photos, he said there was no difference, and says we'll try it again.A refund option wasn't offered I question a 2nd time working,and don't want to go through the hassle, pain and dow time again! I realize results aren't guaranteed, but if even the dr admits no change, what is the protocol?

Hello KayTMO,&nbsp; you have a great question!&nbsp;&nbsp; I think you are the ideal candidate for Precision Tx (laser lipo).&nbsp;&nbsp; The procedure uses local anesthetic. Which is a huge cost saver.&nbsp; There is only a few days of downtime where you need to wear a compression garment under your chin.&nbsp; The laser energy improves skin laxity while&nbsp;destroying the underlying fat cells&nbsp;and the liposuction portion of the procedure helps to shape and redefine the neck and jaw line by removing excess fat.&nbsp;For cost vs patient satisfaction I find nothing comes close.&nbsp;

I am 37 and I would like to get rid of excess fat under my chin and create a more defined jaw line. I have had four consultations with board certified plastic surgeons and it has come down to one of the procedures above - a necklift/lower face lift or PrecisionTX. The surgeon who recommended the necklift said I would get good results out of lipo, but didn't think I'd be satisfied or feel it was aggressive enough. I definitely want the most dramatic results, regardless of downtime, etc. Thoughts?

I will say that your pictures are not ideal, however, from what I can see I think that Precision Tx would do a very good job and give you the results your looking for.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;price and downtime are very reasonable.&nbsp; The laser energy applied to the tissue will cause tightening of loose skin and any areas of residual fat can also be sculpted using liposuction.&nbsp; There will be obvious results immediately.&nbsp; Keep in mind that It will take about 6 months to see the full&nbsp;benefit of this treatment.&nbsp; When weighing the cost of the procedure vs the desired&nbsp;outcome I suspect this will be your best option.&nbsp;

I want to rid of my turkey neck I'm 59 don't have a real good picture showing the neck. I went to to PS in Reading one tells me that the precisiontx will work for me and the other tells me that the mini neck lift is better. I don't want to see more sagging skin. Any recommendation for a PS close to Reading PA
