I first presented to Dr Sim with breathing issues and he quickly identified the issues. I had a rhinoplasty, septoplasty, turbinoplasty and nasendoscopy with Dr Sim in June 2023. I couldn’t recommend Dr Sim enough, he is so professional and calm in his approach and truly is an expert in the field! I am extremely happy with my results and would recommend him to anyone! 10/10!

Dr Choroomi genuinely changed my life. For years growing up I was severely bullied for my nose and I always lacked confidence in my appearance because of it. I was recommended 2 surgeons through my ENT (as I also had a deviated septum I wanted to fix as well as a rhinoplasty) and one of these was Dr Choroomi. I booked consults with both, and after my appointment with Dr Choroomi, I cancelled the other one because I felt heard and comfortable. The surgery went smoothly and recovery has been incredible - with follow up appointments every few weeks, it feels really nice to know that Dr Choroomi cares for each and every patient at all points of the process especially upon comparing my journey and aftercare to others who went with different Sydney based surgeons. I couldn't be happier with my result or service!

Since I can remember I have always had a deviated septum which made me hate how my nose looked in proportion to my face and had difficulties with breathing properly which felt like it worsened during my last pregnancy which pushed me to get my operation done.

Dr Choroomi made me feel at ease about my operation and the result that I could achieve. His bedside manner was amazing and would go out of his way to ensure i was happy with my result. Both Dr Choroomi and his team were amazing from my first consultation through to my last follow up.

I am beyond thrilled with my result. My new nose has given me a new found confidence in myself and I cannot tell you what it is like to be able to breathe properly.

Fifteen years ago, I underwent cosmetic rhinoplasty, but only two month after, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that severely damaged my septum. I required urgent surgery to repair the injury, which unfortunately affected the cosmetic outcome of my original rhinoplasty. Over the years, I had to face the reality that a third surgery was needed to address the cosmetic concerns, but the trauma of my previous experiences made me put it off for a long time.

After years of research, I finally narrowed my options to three surgeons I felt I could trust. When I met Dr. Choroomi, his expertise and reassuring approach to my concerns gave me the confidence to proceed with the revision surgery. His results spoke for themselves, and I could tell I was in good hands.

Although I’m sure it was a challenging few hours in the operating room for him, the entire process and my recovery were virtually pain-free and remarkably smoother than I ever imagined. I am beyond happy with the results. I am so grateful to Dr. Choroomi and his team for their incredible work, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is as meticulous as I was about finding the right surgeon.

From the first time I met Dr Sim, I felt comfortable as it was my first time doing any operation. I was very nervous especially on the day of my surgery, he calmed me down and it was done with no complications. My nose is perfect now for my face. It is not too small and not fake looking. It really suits my face.

If you’re looking to do a revision rhinoplasty but mentally and physically scarred from previous experiences, look no further. I underwent my first rhinoplasty with another surgeon in 2021. I was so unhappy with the results and had lost all faith and trust in anyone ever touching my nose again. I was so traumatised by the experience, that I thought every rhinoplasty was like this. I did some thorough online research, reading every review and looking at every picture on google, real self and instagram till I settled on booking a consult with Dr Sim. There were so many problems with my nose to the point I was unsure if they were in my head or actually existed. Dr Sim was patient, understanding and was the first person who actually took the time to assess my nose and point out all the issues I thought only I could see. I knew after this that Dr Sim was the one and booked him in. Let me say, one of the best decisions I have ever made. I underwent Revision Rhinoplasty five weeks ago with Dr Sim and to say he changed my life is an understatement. From the get go of arriving at the hospital, Dr Sim came and saw me before the surgery, clarifying all the things we were going to change. One thing that stood out to me, Dr Sim isn’t going to tell you what you want to hear and give you another result. He is realistic in his work and is clear from the beginning what is an achievable outcome.

My revision surgery went for 5.5 hours, including a rib graft and from the point of waking up you could see the difference in my nose through the cast. I already felt so much happier.

Fast forward one month, lots of icing, cast and tubes removed and taping, I can finally say it’s the happiest I’ve been in 3 years. The harmony of my nose is so proportioned to my face, I don’t feel insecure about the obvious flaws sticking out and my nose looks so natural it just blends into my face. I can even confidently say, the swelling of my nose 5 weeks post- op has been less than my nose at the 3 year mark of the previous surgery.

Moral of the story; if you’re looking to do a revision rhinoplasty, scared because you have lost all faith in other surgeons, don’t know if you should book that consult- Do it (as long as it’s with Dr Sim)

I would highly recommend Dr Choroomi to anyone!. Dr Choroomi preformed my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results!. He preformed Extracorporeal Septoplasty, Functional Rhinoplasty and Turbinoplasty. I was born with a severely deviated septum and a twisted/crooked nose, I could barley breath in. Breathing from half a nostril had been my normal, mouth breathing, loud breathing, it also greatly impacted my self confidence. Hiding my face with my hands and my hair to avoid stares and laughter from strangers all my life, never truly feeling comfortable with myself. Makeup/contour could not hide it. Only filters.

All my research had led me to believe that I can’t be fixed, and I would present as a massive challenge for any surgeon. After years of searching for the right surgeon without success, I gave up, then Dr Choroomi’s Instagram page had popped up as a “suggestion”. I felt like I was meant to see this. It was perfect timing. A look on his socials and website made me finally feel at ease, as everything I was looking for in a surgeon I found in Dr Choroomi. He made me feel so comfortable from the very first consultation, and at every follow up. Extremely humble, calm, kind and caring. I was very nervous going into surgery. I had been waiting for that moment all my life!. In saying that, during this whole process I was never scared!. My complete trust was in him and I felt safe in his hands.

I’m a few week post op now, swelling around the tip and nostrils as expected so early on. The difference is remarkable, I can finally breathe, it’s straight!. To look at my self in the mirror and finally see the way I always envisioned myself, reflecting back at me, it has finally come to fruition and it’s incredible, it still feels like a dream. And I have Dr Choroomi to thank for that.

You have honestly changed my life!. You really have!. My only wish would be that I had found you sooner, This has been an extraordinary experience. And I’m so grateful to you. You have exceeded my expectations. I’m still crying happy tears, This has been such an emotional ride for me. I truly believe I would not have the outcome I do today if I had not seen Dr Choroomi.
