Dr. Wong performed a DIEP Flap reconstruction on me in January, 2019. She is an amazing doctor who not only did a professional job but her and her whole staff put me at ease I’m very way from by very first consultation through very followup visit since then. She’s one of the nicest a person I’ve and she changed my perceptions of doctors for the better.
Dr. Wong worked with Dr. Hartman an Orthopedic surgeon. Together they spent 6.5 hours closing a wound in my leg. Both did an excellent job! However Dr. Wong's more extensive. She had to make an incision (which cut through my ankle tattoo) to above my knee. The scar is very fine and can not be detected in the tattoo. Her follow up and being easily accessible is great! Next time I plan to she her for cosmetic surgery. If she could fix a wound on my leg she did, her cosmetic work is most likely dynamite. Kathy Weidner
I 33 years old with two kids 12 and 3 years old. I always been skinny, but after my pregnancies a had severe muscle separation that makes me look pregnant all the time. I am tired of that. I will have my surgery on October 30th at 11:45 am here in Omaha Nebraska. My surgeon is Dr. Wong. I so close to get my tummy flat. I already bought my post surgery supplies thanks to the others lady's that had shared they're stories here. I have been planing this surgery for 2 years. Dr. Wong did not ask me to have any lab work, I asked her nurse Katy why and her answer was because of medical records and because it is only one procedure. I am nervous what is about to come, I am praying for the best outcome. My dear husband supporter me since I told him my wish of having a Tammy tuck. Pray for me :)Updated on 22 Oct 2020: This is very sad ;( I got a positive test. I feel sad, but I trust God that this is not the time. I rescheduled for May 28, 2021. If something comes earlier than that I will take it. Dr. Wong is already full for the rest of the year and she is having a baby soon, so add maternity leave to that. I have to focus on getting better and defeat this nasty virus. Take care ladies!
After almost 25 years of wishing for larger breasts, I finally took the plunge. I have not seen many women with my stats on this site, so I was hoping that this would be a valuable resource for others. Because of the detailed reviews from many other brave women, I have not been as freaked out about this process as I would have been going in without that knowledge. I will post pics about the healing process as I go through it.Updated on 12 Dec 2016: First 72 hours down in recovery. I am using lots of ice to keep swelling down and have started taking some supplements and vitamins to help with healing. I have magnesium pills and took one on second day which took care of constipation that many others have complained about. I am also drinking copious amounts of water to help with the swelling. Within the first day I gained 10 lbs of water weight! After taking magnesium and potassium supplements I have dropped all but an extra 2 lbs within the first 48 hours which I attribute to the implants themselves. The implants are riding high and thanks to the many reviews on this site, I realize this is totally normal and part of the process. I can't wait until I am healed and the implants settle into position and soften up!
While wearing gloves during an injection is not required if bleeding is not anticipated, the best practice at our office is to wear PPE during injectables. I wouldn't say unusual - but it is best practice to wear personal protective equipment.
