Athenix is a wonderful company! So glad I was referred to them by my sister, who also got her procedure done with Athenix Irvine. I recently got my tummy tuck and liposuction done by Dr.Shain Cuber and his phenomenal team. To call Dr. Cuber and artist is an understatement. He is so delicate with his work and I am very happy with my results. From start to finish, Maribel,Brianna,Sandy,Sarah and Renee and a few other ladies that helped me, they had the best customer service, support and bedside manners. I could not have made it through this procedure without them guiding me and encouraging me. Thank you Athenix I have referred many ppl to you and I will be back for more perfection to my body!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Cuber. I came to Him after having a poor experience and in my opinion sloppy job from another surgeon. The word sloppy seems harsh but that’s the only way I know how to describe my previous liposuction experience. In consultation Dr. Cuber immediately pointed out areas that needed revision that I hadn’t been able to pinpoint myself after one year of feeling like something looked off. I had my Lipo 360 of my abdomen, flanks, inner thighs and bra bulge in August 2020. I visited Dr. Cuber first in May of 2021 and was instantly confident I wanted to move forward with revisions by Cuber. I was told I would need to wait until January 2022 due to a long waitlist, but after expressing how upset I was with the previous results and that I just wanted to move forward with my life, Cuber and his team were able to get me into a slot just 3 weeks after consultation! My revision surgery took place this morning and I have only peaked at the results, but as the swelling has not fully formed yet I can see the areas he was able to meticulously repair and I finally feel that I will have the body I’ve worked for and hoped for for so long. My pain is minimal, the team has been responsive and I am so grateful to have been out in his hands. I will update photos when things begin to heal :)

I just wanted to let Dr. Cuber know I appreciate him so much. I went through many consultations and met many surgeons and hadn’t felt as comfortable as I did with Dr. Cuber as well as his staff. He’s very professional, he takes his time and I felt our consultations were very helpful and informative. They answered every time I called and any questions I had. Karen, who helped me the day of surgery was my most favorite nurse. She definitely made me comfortable and stayed by my side making sure I was good. I am only 3 days Post Op so pain is still there but I’m very excited to see what the next few weeks Come to look like . Thank you again Dr. Cuber.

I had 15 year old saline implants when one ruptured on a Friday night after hours. I was able to leave a detailed message with Dr. Cuber's staff, who had contacted me first thing Monday to schedule a consultation that day. I was so nervous...within a very short time (2 weeks), I was scheduled to replace my implants with new, gummy bear silicone implants. Dr. Cuber was beyond professional, patient and knowledgeable. He lessened my fears leading up to the surgery. Needless to say, it was a BREEZE surprisingly. Dr. Cuber took such time to make me look and feel better than I did when I had my original surgery in my late 20's. I'm now in my early 40's and feel confident and comfortable with my new implants. I had no pain, no bruising post surgery. It was simply a pleasure to have been his patient and I would not hesitate to see him again for any further surgery. I trust him implicitly.

I wanted to feel comfortable in my clothing and I wasn't accomplishing this will my routine. I had liposuction of my upper/ lower abdomen, waist, flanks and bra line. I am one month post op and it has been a tough month, but I see it getting to where I want to be. I still swelling and discomfort, especially at the end of the day, but each day is better than the day before. The procedure was worth it.

Dr. Cuber is hands-down the best plastic surgeon I’ve ever dealt with and believe me I’ve dealt with a few. I am a repeat customer of his and I have absolutely no intention of going to anyone else for my plastic surgery needs. He is meticulous and very detail oriented. To say he is a perfectionist would be a gross understatement. Every little detail is reviewed, explained and executed in the most precise and professional manner. His gentle bedside manner puts you at ease with any concerns you may have and takes time to explain everything to you in layman‘s terms. From the time of the initial consultation continuing with the pre-op to the surgery staff, the anesthesiologist and the follow up visits, my experience with Dr. Cuber was nothing short of exceptional. The results from my breast augmentation are extraordinary and exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Dr. Cuber to anyone who is considering any type of plastic surgery..... you will not be disappointed!!!

After having a child and competing in fitness competitions, whatever breasts I had, disappeared. After my first time stepping on stage and lacking the confidence I needed I decided to go the route of augmentation. It was the best decision I had ever made. My doctor thoroughly explained the process and advised me on what he felt was best for my small frame and for the fact that I am very lean. He recommended going a little smaller in order to maintain a natural look, which is what I was going for. I am so happy I listened. The procedure itself did not take long at all. The first 2 days were a bit painful but after that I was able to do mostly everything on my own. One of my biggest fears was not being able to train fully. After about 4 weeks I was able to get back into some light cardio . And after about 6 weeks I was able to start lifting normally. I was able to step back on stage in October, winning 2nd place. Getting the augmentation is one decision ill never regret. :-)

So I started off doing tons of research I had seen this doctor 2 other times before years prior for consultantions but the time was never right and I never followed through with it. Recently I went to 3 other doctors in NY because I felt I needed to compare since I felt now was going to be the time. I decided on a NY surgeon and then at the last minute decided to come back here for one last consultation and boy an I glad I did. Dr Cuber is such a sweet man and he gives you relestic expectations which is important. Day1:So I got my surgery on August 28th and everything went smoothly *note you should definitely get 2 garments ... anyway I got home the first day and was in alot of pain... mind you I got my whole top of my body done practically so many areas is bound to feel pain. I was very swollen and did not see much of a diffrence. I took off only my wraps that where leaking which I should have done all of them since I think I browsed more tha normal because of it. I leaked alot out of my lower right stomach it was nasty and smelly fyi... Day2: I was in pain here and there stayed on my meds of course and got alot of work done since I work from home. I went up and down the stairs which may have been a strain for me since my night was awful omg I had to take my meds every 4 hrs as directed but slept fine though the night the day prior. It's about 6am now so we shall see what today has on store.... btw I see such a diffrence and I'm still swollen so I'm excited about that! Day3:still lots of swelling and discomfort Day4: I went for a drive and when I got home I felt like crap and swelled up again Day 5: Today I went out to Sams club with my parents and I was exhausted and in alot of pain by the time I was done. I took my pain killers which I'm pretty much out of and mind you I got 30 of them so that tells you how mucheck pain I was in since getting my work done. And please side note make sure you eat prior to taking the antibiotics it will have you feeling like you are going to pass out if you dont... Day : full of discomfort my incisions are so pain full all over my body I mean when you touch it I'm in pain...my bruises are healing nicely but as far as my body I'm not seeing much diffrence but I been doing alot of research and they say you don't see the full swelling down results till about 4 weeks so I'm hopeful since when I don't swell I look a little better.... we shall see what happens I'll keep you posted .. weds I meet with the doctor for thr first time since the sugary. .. Updated on 4 Sep 2017: I was in a little pain today but nothing too bad... I have 1 painkiller left and I'm going to try to not use it but the nights and mornings are the worst with pain. I just really hope to see more results I guess I'm a bit impatient since there is a diffrence lol... but my flanks are still really big and that was one of my biggest concerns so I pray thay goes down more... I'll keep you posted Updated on 6 Sep 2017: So today I go for my 1 week check up ... I did not post any photos because I STILL LOOK THE SAME FML I hate that my flanks are so large still and hope that they are swollen because they look like they where not touched.... my doctor was so nice and I hope that I can get some clarity today as to where I am and what I should expect.. I will post more after my appointment! Updated on 6 Sep 2017: Today was my 9 day check up!!So the appointment was great he told me I'm still swollen so I should see alot more improvement in 2 or 3 weeks so I'm really hopeful ... he also told me to make sure I keep my garment on at all times like I'm doing so overall everything looks good Updated on 12 Sep 2017: So I'm 2 weeks and 1 day in and I still don't see a dramatic diffrence... I see slight changes but nothing dramatic ... I look best with the garment on than off... I'll update some photos soon! I'm still numb in some places and the pain is worst at night when I try to move in diffrent positions but it is bearable...

Like many, I too have had a life-long complex about my small breasts. I finally found the courage to go ahead and get the surgery done. At this juncture in my life, I found I have everything to gain from it so why not! You only live once. This feeling of boldness is like none-other. Self-love it is! Updated on 4 Sep 2017: I have no regrets at all about going ahead with this very important & personal decision. However, if somebody out there reads this review. I hope this will help them in some ways. First, do not wait till you are 57 to get breast implants. Do it sooner. I look much younger than my physical age, but oh, how I wish I had the guts to do this 20 years ago after I was done having kids.  Secondly, go a little bigger. I read this again and again on many reviews but was still chicken about the world knowing I got breast implants. But, no review told me that I could always downplay my assets by perhaps wearing a sports bra or a bra without any lining at all. Breasts do not look so huge as they do in pictures that we all see here. My concern was that my college going son who lives with me should never find out. Of course he wouldn't have even if I had gone slightly bigger. So, to all girlfriends out there, this is my one regret that I should have not mumbled my consent but spoken clearly when my PS said that he was going to use 300cc on me which would give a nice C cup. I didn't know any better. I do feel that after spending a good chunk of money, going thru some painful days & nights of recovery I should have had zero regret about anything at all. My bra size has changed from a B to C cup but in order to give some shape to clothes, I still need to wear lightly padded bras :( Having said all this, I do want to give credit to my doctor for doing a neat job. I did call him an artist in my review and I stand by that. The surgery went well and the scars are small and barely visible. I have been applying Mederma Advanced scar gel every night religiously. My recovery is going normally, touch wood. The nipples and lower part of both breasts are still sensitive though. Frankly, I don't know how it will feel if someone fondled them, lol! I haven't met my boyfriend in almost six months since he's out of country, which turned out to be in my favor. It gave me time to heal my body. I feel some more time is needed for breasts to feel fully pain free.  It's been little over three months since my breast augmentation. I have been to couple of follow-up appointments and doctor is pleased with everything going well. Nobody knows or notice any change in me (except my two daughters who are my best friends & someone had to know of course) I am hoping for an uneventful rest of my life where breast implants are concerned and I wish the same for all women out there who have taken this decision to enhance their bodies.
