I am so pleased with the knowledge, care, and grace I received at my appointment with Dr. Reis! From the time I entered my appointment to the time I left I definitely felt like he truly was listening to my thoughts and concerns and my results show just that. I can’t wait to come back and see him again! If you have the opportunity to come see him and his amazing staff I highly recommend it.
Dr. Reis injected fillers and dysport in to my face on Friday. He balanced out my face and made it much more symmetrical. I love the way he gives a refreshed and subtle look. I would highly recommend to anyone on the fence to go see Dr. Reis!!
Amazing experience with Dr. Reis & his entire team. Professional expert advice and I was comfortable through the entire process. I never felt silly for asking questions and am very pleased with my results. I will be back & have since recommended Dr. Reis to friends.
With sweet sensitivity and genuine care, Dr. Reis passionately serves his patients and offers expertise. Beyond my restoration experience, he has shown commitment to pain management and advocating for me to maximize quality of care. Continually amazed, I can personally say his work is impressive and is paralleled only by his pursuit of excellence complemented with a heart of compassion. Words cannot express my gratefulness.
Dr. Reis is an amazing and caring doctor!! Great experience and super results!! His staff is top notch. Facilities are in prestige condition. This is my second procedure by Dr Reis and will continue to have him do anything I need and highly recommend him.
Oh my goodness, I do not know where to begin. I honestly cannot thank Dr. Reis enough for the wonderful experience I had throughout my journey. From the very first time I met him at consultation he truly took his time to know me personally and talked to me about the procedure and went through all the details. I was surprised of how long he took just talking to me, knowing how busy he is. His office is wonderful, everyone at the office are so caring and followed up with me several times before the procedure as well as after. I have had a similar procedure somewhere else before and I did not have the same experience what so ever and was left with a horrible scar. I told Dr. Reis that my main concern was the scarring and oh my goodness. It has been around 2 weeks since my procedure and I am not kidding when I tell you that I have to look for it, I do not have a scar what so ever it is unbelievable. The procedure went so smoothly even though I was extremely nervous, Dr. Reis was so amazing and talked to me and even made me giggle throughout and I did not feel the slightest discomfort what so ever. I could not believe how amazing everything was. I am always always going to Dr. Reis for everything, his hands are magic! Thank you so much for everything Dr. Reis you have truly had a big impact in my life.
Dr. Reis is an amazing surgeon. He is very knowledgeable, a true professional and he took the time to get to know me, listen attentively, and provide solutions accordingly. His office staff are caring and by the third appointment, the receptionist checked me in the moment I walked into the office. I am very satisfied with the consulting, care and results I received from Dr. Reis.
Dr. Reis, in a word is a perfectionist! and that's a good thing. He stayed in touch with me throughout the whole procedure from surgery, to follow-ups and actually made the appearance of my surgical scar look even better. His facility and staff was exceptional as well. Definitely a keeper!
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Scott Reis. As a mature women over 50, I have met and experienced multiple surgeons and Scott is cream of the crop! He really cares about his patients and will not stop until he gets you the results you are seeking. He is witty, charming and extremely BRILLIANT. I love how he can take complicated medical treatments and explain them to the point where I really understand the procedures and what they can accomplish. How many doctors check in on you daily after a procedure? I won't be using anyone else. Dr. Scott Reis is the REAL DEAL!
Amazing experience. Dr. Reis made me feel informed about the procedures he was performing and made me feel immediately at ease with his scope of knowledge and skill. He was able to communicate to me exactly what was going to happen as he worked his magic. His nurse Katie was super supportive and skilled in her craft as well. They are the dynamic duo!
Hi babsy71, thanks for the great question. There are many different types/names/etc for tummy tucks. Don't get bogged down in all of those details initially. The answer ultimately depends on a thorough discussion and exam with your plastic surgeon. The decision as to which is best for a specific patient completely depends on how much excess skin and laxity you have in the upper abdomen above your belly button, how much excess/loose skin you have on your lower abdomen, if you have stretch marks that need to be removed, and most importantly what your priorities and goals are for surgery. Most patients after having multiple children have diastasis (muscle separation in the midline) and require plication/reapproximation of the muscles in the midline (like an internal corset). This can be done through both a full or a mini incision by performing what's called an umbilical float. Young/thin/fit women like yourself are often candidates for a mini incision which allows the surgeon to avoid a hip to hip scar and the circular scar around the belly button, while still performing full muscle plication and liposuction. The thing that will tip the scales and make a full tummy tuck a better choice for you would require an in person evaluation and detailed examination to determine the quality/laxity/excess amount of lower/upper abdominal skin and the presence of significant stretch marks. It's tough to say from looking at just the provided pictures, but you may be a mini tummy tuck candidate. I suggest you meet with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area to discuss further. Make sure you discuss YOUR goals, what YOU want and what YOUR top priorities are with the surgeon. A great plastic surgeon will listen to you and help you decide which procedure will make you happiest with your outcome overall, not necessarily themselves happiest. Hope this helps. Best of luck!!
Hi gospel7826, thanks for the great question. In general, patients with sickle cell trait can safely undergo elective cosmetic surgical procedures, especially when they're overall healthy and have no history of sickle problems previously. In my practice I would definitely require clearance from your hematologist before proceeding with surgery, but assuming that all of your pre-operative lab work and clearance are in order, you would likely be a safe candidate. However, since every patient and situation are different, in in person consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for a detailed medical history, exam and discussion of your options is essential. Best of luck!
Hi Texas1950, thanks for the question. It's tough to say for certain without an in person exam or at least pictures, but in general forehead lipomas can easily be removed through a remote incision hidden within your hair so it's not visible. I suggest you consult with a local Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for an in person exam and to see what will be the best surgical option for you. Best of luck!
Hi and thanks for the great question. Epinephrine is the same as adrenaline which your body produces during the "fight or flight"/startle response, and one of it's many effects it to directly cause contraction and a clamping down of the blood vessels thus decreasing the amount of bleeding during a procedure. It is often used in conjunction with local anesthetic for all types of breast, body and facial surgery to minimize the amount of blood loss during surgery. Since the breast are glandular structures with very robust blood supply, using injected epinephrine before breast reduction surgery is very common.
Hi and thanks for your question. Based on your photos you do appear to have tuberous breasts given the high restricted lower breast fold, large herniated nipple/areola and elongated tubular shape of your breasts. You're a great candidate for augmentation along with lowering the breast fold, expanding the overall skin envelope dimensions and nipple/areola reduction to give a more natural appearing breast shape. It's important that you meet with a board certified plastic surgeon for a thorough history and in person exam and to discuss your goals and various options.
