Love my BAM

I have always wanted to get breast augmentation surgery. In high school I had a good sized chest and then three kids later, combined with a very active lifestyle, my chest was pretty non-existent. I researched for a long time before finding Utah Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. R. Scott Haupt has every requirement that I was looking for. After reading about his credentials I knew I had found my guy. His office staff was nothing short of amazing. Every email, phone-call and in-person interaction was great. They all made me feel so confident in everything that was going on. Stacey helped me at my pre-op appointment and she was so informative. I picked a 385cc, high profile plus, textured silicone round implant. The simulator machine they use at the pre-op is so cool. It shows a 3D image of what your body will look like with the size that you choose. The day of my surgery the people there were awesome and I was so impressed with everyone involved. The anesthesiologist was great and the woman helping made me feel so comfortable, I think her name was Jill and his was Jared. Dr. Haupt is such a funny guy and he’s so positive and fun to be around. The best part about my BAM was the results. I’m three weeks post-op and I love how my body looks. I have always been active and my body has been lacking one thing... not anymore. Thanks so much to everyone at Utah Cosmetic Surgery. I will continue to see Dr. Haupt every few weeks for awhile. It’s been fun to get to know so many people who truly care about me.

You look absolutely gorgeous, they turned out so well! Can I ask, did you go over or under the muscle?

Your results look great! Can you clarify what profile you got? It says moderate profile in the heading but then it also says high profile plus in your description. I was looking at the Sientra size chart and I see both moderate plus and high both have a 385cc implant size so I was just wondering which you have?

They are moderate profile. Thanks for pointing out the mistake. I didn’t realize I did that. I can’t edit it either dang it! I went back and forth on what I wanted and must’ve just got confused when I was putting in the info.

Thanks for the clarification! I am petite like you and I’m so indecisive about what size to choose! My Dr suggested the Sientra 350cc mod profile smooth implant under the muscle and said I should end up a full C or small D. I naturally have a wider breast bone so I won’t get the same cleavage you achieved, which is a bummer for me. But I’m worried the 350 moderate won’t be enough so I was thinking of looking into the 385cc moderate plus. It has the same base width but 0.6cm more projection. I’m not sure if that is even enough of an increase to notice though! I have to be careful with my base width or I’ll get too much side boob. This is such a hard decision! Do you think your results were completely on point with the 3D imaging? Or were actual results smaller/bigger than the 3D images portrayed?

Honestly I feel like the 3D imaging was pretty spot on. Looking back though I didn’t realize what size I would end up being. I thought I would end up a large C or small D and I’m a 32DD. I’m super glad I ended up where I did and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s just hard to be exact ahead of time because everybody is a little different. My biggest concern going into it was that I didn’t want to look fat. A lot of times when small girls get big implants they end up just looking thick. He told me that since that was my concern that I should go with the 385cc moderate profile. I had very little breast tissue to start with so that size worked out good for me. I know if I would have gotten a moderate plus or high profile plus that it would’ve caused rippling and stretching. My body just isn’t big enough for anything bigger than what I got. When I was indecisive about size the doctors assistant just told me that it just mattered how I wanted to enter a room. Did I want people to think “Holy smokes look at those implants” or “Holy smokes look at that girl.” So I went smaller than I planned and I’m so glad because any bigger would have been horrible. Especially since even at the size I got I ended up with a bigger size than I expected.

Better Every Day

ktuft514
The hardest part about surgery has been taking a break from the gym. I am getting better every day and even though it will be weeks before I am back to my regular routine I would do it again a million times. I feel so much more confident in a sports bra now! I don’t look like a 15 year old boy anymore!! Not to mention how much more toned my legs and butt are because of my limited workout options! Win win.
