Dr. Margoles is exceptionally skilled at her craft

Dr. Margoles is not only exceptionally skilled at her craft, she provided a sense of calm and comfort before, during and after my procedure. Landon her office manager is exceptional and so is the patient advocate who helped me navigate the trickiness of health insurance. I was very scared to have this procedure done, but she put me at ease and I am feeling so much better.

Great Support and Great Result Even During Covid

I set up my first consultation with Dr. Margoles in November of 2019 by calling her office in Greenwich and speaking to her office assistant Landon. Landon is wonderful, very professional, and super communicative - I got to become extremely familiar with him over the numerous calls I was always happy to receive from him. The office isn't the easiest to find the first time but inside it's extremely clean and calming. One of the first things I noticed were the numerous degrees in Dr. Margoles' office including her time at Harvard and extensive time at other institutions where she learned how to be a great surgeon before I even know how to read! She's extremely professional, knew exactly how to address every question and concern I had, and was supportive right from the beginning. She has a LARGE book of before and after pictures of past breast reductions that she has done and I was extremely impressed. I was very comfortable with her during our first examination, when we were actually taking my before pictures, and trusted that she and her team were going to not be able to help me get it covered through my insurance but that I would have great results. I paid $200 that first meeting and received frequent updates over the next few months. A couple of months later we got a denial from my insurance and Dr. Margoles immediately let me know that she would be willing to do a "peer-to-peer" meeting . She convinced my insurance to only require a new letter from chiropractor in addition to the one I got from my dermatologist. And it worked! Unfortunately, that approval happened about a month before Covid really hit the US and I got a call from Landon letting me know that we would have to wait until elective surgeries were going forward in the local hospitals again. Once surgeries started going forward again in June we scheduled for surgery in July and the pre-surgery consultation about a week before. (I also had to schedule a covid test 2 days before the surgery). She, again, answered all of my questions and I got a list of 2 prescriptions to get filled as well as several printouts for aftercare and location of the hospital with a recommendation for a bra to buy post surgery. I will say that that bra ended up being a little too uncomfortable for the 3 days of just recovering in bed but it will be great for a new supportive sports bra. She does also provide a post-surgery bra for her patients and gave me a new one at a follow up appointment once most of my swelling went down as well. The day of surgery went very smoothly! After some basic medical screening and an insertion of the IV, Dr. Margoles came in, marked me up, and I made to sure re-iterate that, for my preferences, I'd rather have us go too small than too big. I also suggest bringing in a before and after picture of someone with your body type and ideal results just to make sure you're on the same page. I got escorted in and was greeted outside of the theatre by one of her assistants (who was so sweet, in fact, the entire staff that I interacted with were so warm and a pleasure to be around) before being brought in, laid on the bed, and quickly put under. When I woke up I was definitely out of it and eager to go home but I was comfortable and informed that my boyfriend had already been informed that he could come get me. (FYI, I have only had one other minor surgery and do pretty well with anesthesia). I was given a few snacks with juice, taken to the bathroom, given something for a little nausea I had 10 minutes before leaving, and wheeled out to the entrance to leave. I was already thrilled with my results! Dr. Margoles unexpectedly called me that night to make sure I was doing well, which was nice. She warned me of the swelling that would happen over the next few days and gave me a few other tips for a more comfortable recovery. I had very few issues as I was recovering and she even let me do facetime appointments with her when I had concerns. I'm not particularly far into healing yet but I'm still thrilled. My results are full but a clear and significant difference. My scars are surprisingly light and I didn't have to deal with drains or anything super restrictive like waiting a week to shower or only wearing my post-surgery bra 24/7. Excited to be cleared to exercise soon! If you have the chance to work with Dr. Margoles and her team, I can promise you are in excellent hands. As I heal more I'm only more impressed and I'm so glad I went with her.

I am blown away with how quickly I’ve recovered, and how great I feel after only a few days!

I cannot recommend Dr Margoles and her team enough! I selected Dr Margoles as my surgeon after much research. I was drawn to the beautiful and natural results of previous patients - as well as her accolades. What really sold me was her excellent communication and demeanor. I instantly felt comfortable with her, and knew she would provide fantastic results. I also had no doubt each step of the way that we were on the same page with what it was I was looking for. I was of course nervous leading up to surgery and on the morning of surgery - but each member of her team made me feel so well taken care of. I had a smile on both before and after anesthesia! Dr Margoles and her team continued to check in and made sure I was recovering well. She even provided her personal cell phone number in case I had questions - which just speaks to her personability and care for her patients. I am blown away with how quickly I’ve recovered, and how great I feel after only a few days! Thank you Dr Margoles, Landon, and the nurses for taking care of me!

Gifted, warm and welcoming

Fantastic in every way. She is gifted, warm and welcoming. This is my second cosmetic procedure with Dr. Margoles and I wouldn't think of going to any other surgeon. (I have been to several renown surgeons in the past before finding her.) My results are natural. Her assistant, Landon, is extremely patient and efficient. Overall superlative.

I had an amazing experience —Dr. Margoles was so caring.

Had a tummy tuck 13 weeks ago and it was the best thing I’ve done . After having 4 children my stomach had a big flap and I recently lost almost 50lbs which didn’t help . Dr. Margoles was so caring from the very 1st time meeting her . After surgery she gave us her personal cell and said call at anytime . She’s an amazing surgeon .

Skilled and Compassionate Surgeon

I’m very happy I decided to go with Dr. Margoles for my reduction mammaplasty earlier this year. Any decision to undergo surgery is a monumental one, but Dr. Margoles calm nature, exceptional knowledge, and first-rate office manager helped put me at ease and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. During my initial consultation she answered every question about the surgery itself and the recovery process. I’m approximately 10 weeks post surgery and feeling great with a significant reduction in shoulder pain and a continued improvement in my posture.

Upper/Lower eye lids with chin Smartlipo

I'm a 53, and started researching these procedures a year ago. First, I consulted with a highly regarded surgeon in CT about chin Lipo and upper/lower bleph. He told me I was a good candidate, but then told me an upper brow lift would be optimal. I was a bit taken aback because I felt I look good for my age, and had explained that I wanted to stage any procedures to avoid ever looking "done" or stretched. I just want to look like a refreshed version of myself. Furthermore, I had started the consult by explaining that my sagging chin was my bigger concern, and the browlift diversion completely threw me off. After the consult, I decided to focus on my chin and looked into other non-surgical options- - cool sculpt and kybella. I was surprised by the cost of these options and, after reading reviews of both procedures, I decided to go the surgical route. A year after the first consult, I returned to the same Dr. For another consult-- I was prepared to move forward with the bleph and Lipo. Again, he threw me for a loop when he told me I would need a lower facelift. When I reminded him had that he had said I was a good candidate for Lipo, he said now I wasn't because it was a year later. With that, I decided to get at least two other opinions (I would do that for a house remodel project after all!). Boy, am I glad I did! Always trust your gut, and my gut said run from that behavior! Next, I went to a highly regarded NYC surgeon who recommended Smartlipo and bleph. I really liked him and he gave me an excellent consult. When I told him about the other Dr's lower facelift reco, he was surprised. Made me feel justified. I also went for a third opinion to another CT doctor who recommended the same and echoed the reaction about the facelift. I decided to go with the 3rd. She listened, made me feel comfortable, and gave me the impression she wouldn't be "heavy handed" with the tweaks. I had the procedure done in her office surgery on 9/29/17 with a highly competent staff. I was put in a "twilight" state for the surgery and don't remember much. There was only one instance when I felt discomfort with the undereye area.Updated on 2 Oct 2017: I've been resting and trying to ice. The worst is not being able to do much while doing it. The tape under my eyes that was applied to control bruising, and the chin strap because of the Lipo, are annoying. My ears hurt from the strap- the elastic is pushing them into my skull and when I put on my glasses, that magnifies the issue. I inserted a couple of cotton balls to help relieve the pressure.
