I have a crazy schedule with the kids work and as a women house work and dinner as well. I didn't have much me time to fit in the gym so it felt almost impossible. I did the diet pills and ate properly and lost 20lbs. Well I gained it back after stopping the pills because I went back to bad eating habits :( . So I started doing research and found sona bello. My consultation went great, all questions answered and she lifted my spirits and I was hooked like a fish and couldn't wait for my date . (which was yesterday:) I am extremely sore but it's tolerable, going from sitting to standing and vice versa is the worst of it. I have my garment on at all time unless I'm showering. While I shower I can wash my garment as needed. I wasn't leaking to bad but my right flank it did tend to leak more than anywhere else. During surgery, I was sooo nervous waiting to feel pain but it truly wasn't that bad. The doctor stopped immediately if I told him there was any discomfort and treated that area with ease( great bed side manner :) and the nurse was phenomenal as well. It did sting when then went towards the areas that weren't all the way numb but that was the worst of it. If I had to I would do it again. I will add more pics as time goes on. I can finish my ratings as time continues as well. Updated on 3 Jun 2016: So far my body has transformed and I'm pleased with the results. I am able to go back to the gym now but considering another two weeks. I still feel slightly numb and tender in some places. Here are the most recent photos as well as the weeks in between:)
I wanted to come by and provide some insight into the KOP Sono Bello Office. From the beginning my interactions with the Office have been pleasant. I contacted them over the phone and set up my appointment. I was contacted to set up my consult, which was within a few days. I must say the day I came in I was a little nervous but so ready to see what Sono Bello KOP would be able to provide. As I waited the receptionist asked if anyone needed something to drink or eat. Very nice gesture, even though I was nervous but a few others did oblige. It was now my turn to speak to Bobbie, a lovely lady ready to answer any and every thing I threw at her. It was easy to speak to her and understand what was going on because she took her time and made me feel comfortable (guess the laughing at everything didn't help). As we finished the consultation I was able to see a few pics, prices, and the doctors credentials. So by now I am ready, and I set up my pre-op appointment. I went and meet with Dr. Talaie. He asked a few question, looked at my body and then advised as to what he would do. It was a little weird because he didn't smile and was about his business. But as we conversed he then told me that it was due to the weather. What a nice and personable man to have do my surgery. After he left the nurse provided instructions and medication for me to have for after care. I also received some emails on how to prepare for the BIG day. Four days later, I came in for my procedure for my upper and lower abs, and flanks. Yes, like any procedure I had a few jitters and ran to the bathroom like 6 times. lol :) But Erin (LPN) had me calm and made sure I was comfortable. As the time grew closer for the procedure to start, I was told by Dr. Talaie and Erin of everything that was to happen again. I can say that the most uncomfortable part is the beginning (a few pitches and the motion of instruments). Nonetheless, Dr. Talaie had me in a calm place, made sure I was comfortable and able to talk during the procedure. As Erin was there also to make sure I was comfortable and able to remain in a calm state during the procedure. It only took about 3 hours from the time I got to the office to the time I left. During the first day or two I was in the bed, moving around when I could. I had to be in an incline position most of the time because of the wrap and compression outfit looking like a superhero with a swollen mid section. lol But I was glad that Dr. Talaie contacted me the day after the procedure, it was nice. :) But after the days progressed I was able to move around a lot more. I also was provided a few email from the Dr. on after care. I was able to decrease my pain meds and sit up straighter. I found that light massage and rubbing my abs and flanks keep some of the pain down also. I also have noticed that I only had a few hard knots and those are around the incision site. After seven days I came in for my post-op, it was amazing to see the transformation. I was amazed because for so many years I was not able to get rid of my pooch in the front. I have done diet after diet and workout after workout, but nothing would work. But the happiness I had when Adrienne came in with the before and after photos, a big difference. Again, I had to be reminded that this was just my first week after the procedure and that I still had a long way to go. I was just amazed that the results are showing and clothes are fitting differently. I know, all results are different but I have found that if you prepare before (a little cardio and meds) and then after (a little cardio, massage and meds), until you are able to get in the gym hard. As I was told this is an investment and you must let it do what it has to, before you see the finally result. If you want a place that makes you feel comfortable and keeps you in a relaxed atmosphere - go ahead and take a look at Sono Bello KOP. I will tell you about the Venus Freeze soon, I go in a few weeks. :):) So excited. Have a wonderful day... Updated on 18 Feb 2015: Here is a few pics Updated on 28 Feb 2015: Just wanted to come by and show you my results. I must day the past week has been more easy. I am still feeling tight, like I have a waist cincher on. But it is not as painful as week one and two. I can say that my results are becoming more noticeable. ;) I do feel more tightness or bloating in the evening, but if I use my roller and massagey areas it does feel much better. Also I have been able to get back in the gym and do some cardio... It does help. Updated on 3 May 2015: These pics are of my fourth month PO. I have not been in the gym due to a hip injury. But once cleared I will be able to get back full force. I have been walking and watching my diet. I can say that I do not have all the feeling back but I am starting to get the pinching (nerve action). It is tolerable just feels a lil weird. So I do wear my waist trainer or spanx if needed to feel a lil more tightness. I am looking into getting my back and bra line done, but we will see what happens at my follow-up appt next week. Updated on 3 May 2015: Comparing before to now. Updated on 4 Jul 2015: Just wanted to come by and show you a few of my post op photos. I am loving the way my body is coming together. I will say that I am still feeling the tingles and I do have a tight sensation. (It feels more like an invisible corset is around me.) ;) I also would like to thank you all, who followed in this journey with me. Have a wonderful day and stay positive.
After researching liposuction for almost two years I finally decided to do it. I am 43 yrs. old and I have had thick thighs since puberty; no matter how thin or fit I was they would remain thick and out of proportion with the rest of my body... Thank you, estrogen. I read everything I could find on the internet, looked at thousands of pictures and I went to consultations with three Doctors, one of which is head of plastic surgery at Penn, but I chose Sonobello and Dr. Talaie. After everything I read and saw on the internet, and on realself, I realized that it is as important to choose a board certified surgeon as it is to also choose someone that specializes, or at the very least, does ALOT of whatever procedure it is that you want done. I think that those two factors, along with having realistic expectations, are the only way to approach cosmetic surgery. Doing the research also helped me understand what is and is not possible, as well as, what I did and did not want. Unfortunately, the fear I had after reading so many horror stories kept me from taking before pictures. I was afraid that something might go wrong and I didn't want to have to explain. Even though I'm happy with my result I'm surprised that I even went through with it because I was so freaked out... It's surgery! I'm currently at three weeks post-op and still a little swollen/tender, but I'm down from my 148 lbs. post-op weight to 141lbs. I'm not gonna lie... That first two weeks was rough! ...between the pain and the fear I thought I was going to lose it. Updated on 20 Nov 2014: When I was doing my research I came across a lot of negative comments, etc. regarding places like Sonobello. There seems to be a misconception that these places have inferior doctors, or something to that affect. The more research and consultations I did the more it became crystal clear to me that a lot of cosmetic surgeons specialize in certain things: rhinoplasty, facelift, breast augmentation, etc. Though I am not a Doctor, I am a Hair Stylist, what I know about skills is that they get better by practice and education, not licensing. Licensing ensures that the operator can meet certain standards, which is VERY important, but it doesn't tell you about their skill level beyond those standards. Hair Stylists can't be great at everything related to hair, unless they have been practicing for a long time AND have consciously tried to expand their knowledge base. Many don't. The same is true for every other profession. Don't just educate yourself on the degrees your Doctor holds, or the pictures you see on a website, also educate yourself about liposuction, in general. Please, learn about techniques and tools and types so that you can make a truly informed decision. Updated on 20 Nov 2014: I apologize for the poor quality, but as I said, I wasn't planning on posting a review. Updated on 25 Nov 2014: Most of the major swelling has decreased and the bruising is all but gone. I was only able to find one hard lump and that has since softened. I am starting to see some minor imperfections, but I am still tender and probably swollen, so I'm not going to get too worked up about it just yet, besides, I know from doing the research that touch-ups are pretty common. It's so weird to look in the mirror and see a more proportionate shape after all those years of cursing my thighs. My jeans fit better too! ...they're no longer super tight in the thighs! For anybody that is wondering, I went back to work by day three, but had a very shortened schedule for that first week because I do stand on my feet all day. This past Sunday I went on a pretty difficult (for me) 11 mile hike in the Appalachia mountains and I was fine. I was pretty sore the next day, but that was to be expected. Also, my weight has stabilized at 144 lbs., which seems about right to me. I think 141 was a result of not feeling well. Updated on 29 Nov 2014: Updated on 2 Dec 2014: Updated on 2 Dec 2014: I still can't get used to looking in the mirror and putting on pants and not having my thighs be the bane of my existence. I am wearing my stage 2 garment to bed and various stage 3 garments to work. I am no stranger to compression since I stand on my feet for 8-9 hours a day, it's been a part of my grind for years. Hey, no varicose veins so far! I'm sure it will take a little longer for the swelling to completely resolve as a result of extended standing, but things are coming along. I can see there are some places that will need to be touched up, but I am going to reserve commenting and picturing until the 4 month mark, by then it should be resolved enough to see what's what, but I can already see some irregularities that I am not happy about after plunking down that much money.
He was AWESOME! My tummy is flat and my love handles are gone! It hasn't even been a full week and I am back up and doing my normal activities. He was super nice during the procedure and even funny at times. I was pretty nervous and he made sure that I was comfortable as possible the entire time. Extremely nice guy, very serious about his work (and rightfully so) - can't wait for him to do my thighs!
I wanted to get rid of that stubborn fat around the middle that won't go away with diet and exercise. I had smartlipo on May 9th of the upper and lower abdomen, waist and hips. Swelling peaked around day 4 and i looked and felt 7 mos. pregnant. Swelling started to go down around day 10 and i can see some outline of waist and new tummy now. The incision in my navel became infected yesterday and i had to start another round of antibiotics. I have been wearing my stage 2 compression garments (i bought an extra so i can switch out) 24/7. Also keeping to low salt and no alcohol, lots of water. The procedure was done at Sono Bello i. king of Prussia by Dr. Talaie. He was very knowledgable and has a lot of exoerience along with being board certified in plastic surgery. Staff has been great. I am having my thighs done June 6. I only took three days off before going back to work and left on a long international trip a week after surgery. In hindsight i think a week off would have helped a lot with healing and the trip was very difficult. It hurt to carry my luggage and i couldn't sleep at all. But i guess that is just life:). I am now pretty much pain free with only slight residual soreness in my abdomen. The procedure itself was a bit scairy but not painful. It combined tumescent lipi with laser then suction to remove fat. I drained a lot for 24 hrs. Then nothing. Definitely get some poise pads, arnica gel and desitin for your crotch area!!! Updated on 3 Jun 2014: Wow what a difference a week has made! I put on a pair of new pants i bought prior to lip and they literally fell off! I cannot believe hiw much smaller my waist, hips and abdomen have become in just a few days. The doctor said I still have a ways to go for all the swelling to recede but the change is already visible. I am very happy with the results. So now on to the thighs this Friday.
04/19/2013 - I will say I was a nervous wreck about anything surgical. I must of had 4 consultations with local 5* star plastic surgeons who claim to be the best at what they do. I ultimately decided on Sono Bello who was new to Tampa of just a few days because of Dr. Talaie and Nicole B. my consultant. I did my reviews on Dr. Talaie so I knew what I would get with him. Nicole was just the icing on the cake. She was thorough and just overall sincere and interested in you getting a better you...preceding my surgery I started taking the Arnicare Montana...helps with bruising. On the day of they gave me Vicodin and Xanax to relax and I was happy to have it and a first time using that medicine so it really relaxed me. From the time I layer on the table Dr. Talaie was there and talking to me. He has a very soft spoken tone and is very attentive to your body movements. The numbing wasn't so bad just pinched. The tumescent fluid going in felt weird and was a little uncomfortable at times but not so much that I would say I was in pain. Just a weird feeling. The laser was quick and I did not feel it..just knew he was using it. The small cannula suction removing the fat was pretty easy..just times of oh...and ah and then a tickle here and there. No pain at all. I was done within 3hours...in and out. They were very nice people and helped wipe me off and get my garment on without acting like they were scared of my fluids leaking on them. Just a welcoming group of staff. They got me all together and cleaned up and eventually out the door. My friend drove me home. I went home and went to sleep. WRONG!!! I forgot to take my pain medicine and woke up in pretty bad pain..almost shock because everything felt so easy up until that moment. But I took a dose of Vicodin and 400mg ibuprofen and in about 15 minutes I was ok again. I stay regimented on my meds for the next 24 hours and was fine. I am now day 6 and coming along fine. I am wearing a garment that is pretty tight but I just bought some dresses and wore my blazer over them. Can't tell by first look or second. I am still sore and numb. My soreness is about a 3. I stopped taking vicoden meds within 36 hours and Motrin I just stopped yesterday. I am expecting my next garment in the mail in about a week. So far I can see a major change in my abdomen and waist area. I would say a 65% difference in my abdomen and 85% in my waist. I am still swollen so I believe once that all goes down I will be 100% satisfied. Once the swelling goes down I will take a closer look at my results for evenness but from what I can see I am looking pretty darn SCULPTED. I am a mother of two and 37...I read a lot of horrible reviews about Sono Bello in other states but I really think they were in their trial and error stages. I love the place and everyone there...just a group of happy people. I will post pics from the day of ..1week...2week...3week and so on in a bit. Updated on 24 Apr 2013: I will post pic this Saturday which will be 2weeks post. Updated on 30 May 2013: Updated on 30 May 2013: Updated on 30 May 2013: Updated on 30 May 2013: Updated on 17 Nov 2013: Hello everyone. I have had my upper and lower revised at Sono Bello Tampa and I feel great! I am 3 days post op and headed to work tomorrow. I must say I can see a major difference in my upper and lower. My doctor was fantastic. She took her time and targeted small areas that were of concern for me. Overall my experience with Sono Bello has been awesome. Although I needed a revision to me it takes nothing away from what they are capable of. They stood behind their word and kept me a happy customer. I even give kudos to my first doctor and he sculpted me as promised and paved the way for my 2nd doctor to hit those little pockets of stubborn fat that je could not see. Flanks and back look amazing from the first time. I will post pic in about a week or so. Updated on 25 Apr 2014: I look great in all my photos. Pictures are not the best but I tried to get angle shots of my figure Updated on 25 Apr 2014: Love the new me Updated on 25 Apr 2014: More Updated on 25 Apr 2014: Smooth skin Updated on 25 Apr 2014: I'm the tall one. Updated on 24 Aug 2014: I still look pretty fabulous!!!
I am a 29 year old female who has always been big boned.I considered my self healthy because I watch what I eat and exercise. After meeting my husband I gained weight. I lost 30lb on my own and than a stand still happen. So now I'm kickboxing an results are slow. So I have decided to have smart Lipo. I am getting upper and lower abs, sides, waist, lower back and inner thigh. My procedure is this Saturday and super excited! Updated on 3 Apr 2013: April 3rd and 2 days aways from my procedure. So I figured since I'm putting all this money out I want to really start right. So today I went and got a colonics and I feel lighter and more entergized. The Good thing was that my stomach went down a whole lot. Updated on 4 Apr 2013: Ok 1 more day to go to see if all this money was well worth it. I started taking my Arnicare 3x a day today to help with the healing process. I added pictures today of me before. Now I mention I got an colonics the other day so look at the side view pictures where I have clothes on that was 2 hours before colonics and the other side view picture is me after the colonics. My stomach went down a lot and it made me feel so much better. Updated on 7 Apr 2013: Ok Its the day after my procedure and I have a few things to say lol. The procedure was fast to me because I was druged up lol. The part that was hard for me was when they were adding the fluid to numb me. After that it was smooth sailing. I was fully alert and easy going when my husband was driving me home but still sleepy from the pills. Ok so the nurse asked me what size garment and I told her an extra large and she said its suppose to be tight so she game me a large to take home with me also. Ok I was bleeding alot. I was changing pads every 10 15 minutes. I got worried but I figured it out that my garment was not tight enough. So I out on the Large over the extra large and I was fine then. I was told to drink alot of fluid like juice and gatorade not just water. It is 12pm and I been up since 8 and I made the family breakfast already and got a load of laundry in lol. The DR called and told me to take it easy so when the laundry is done Im going back to bed. But my advice is to make sure your garment fit you tight it will help with the fluids and blood. But other than that I feel good and at this point happy with going through with it. Updated on 9 Apr 2013: Well today I am back to work and I'm a driver so I took a tylenol and I'm am feeling good. Still numb and at times a little uncomfortable but still happy with my decision. I see where I have had that fat remove but can't wait till the swelling is done to see my real results. Updated on 15 Apr 2013: Today was my one week post opt. The nurse said I'm coming alone good but I have not idea what she see. Lol all my swelling in at the bottom of my stomach and I feel pregnant. I can not recall seeing and post that says be prepared to have some sweat pants or maternity pants hanby after the procedure . Other than that I'm doing fine just swollen and very sore. Updated on 22 Apr 2013: Alright saturday was my 2 week post opt. I am still swollen but the pain is almost non existent. I have my second precedure on friday the 26 and I am going to get my arms done and back bra roll. I figured since we are headed twords the summer I would work on my upper body and next year work on the thighs. So can't wait cause now I know what to expect. Updated on 1 May 2013: Update time! Everything is going great Saturday May 4 will be my 4 week mark but I am still swollen in the middle. I have hardness and still looking for a massage person. I can finally fit back into my jeans and tie my own shoes lol. Tomorrow I am going for my second procedure on my arms and back bra roll. This was suppose to been done but I had a allergic reaction to the antibiotic (keflex). So that has passed and I am excited about tomorrow. Updated on 6 May 2013: Thusday May 2nd I got my arms done and my back bra roll. This was not as bad as my upper and lower abs. Recovery was a breeze very litte bleeding and I was back to reality the next day. My stomach is healing well but still trying to a massage. Updated on 8 Jul 2013: My recovery has been good. I have a few complaints as in I should of let the dr take the max. But I still have a huge difference in my clothes. People ask me if I lost weight. I have not kept of with massages because I couldn't find anyone and the one peson wanted sooo much. But I found a lady with a great price so let see what happens. Updated on 12 Jul 2013: I am late on massage because I couldn't find a person in philly until recently. I have a huge hard spot in my mid section that has been massage and helping out a lot. Wearing a Garment is a must it helps shape you and I ignored that so I purchased a new and tighter garment. I went from a 2xl to a xl. So I am happy thus far the back side of me is still up in the air.
Air Sculpt in Pennsylvania is the worst. Do not waste your money here. I had lipo done and I still look the same. 360lipo, inner thighs and double chin. I regret it.... All the promises and manipulation just to take your money.
I would like to know if anyone received a refund for their procedure in which you were unhappy with the results from sonobello. I am only asking for 1,000 back from the 3,500. Manager said doctor said no. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE IN MY CHIN. And I had lost 10 pounds after :( I should see something, right!? Updated on 13 Oct 2014:
