Ok, I CAN really tell a difference now. I definitely think it has been worth it and I know the payoff will continue over the years as I produce more collagen. Is this the last step? No. I’ll get more laser treatments that the more mild in the next 6 months.

You're very brave to go through all that you have. My daughter has deep acne scars and has done laser and now microneedling with PRP. You're a beautiful young woman. I really hate how acne can rob you of your beauty. Before any treatments, my daughter would say people would look at her skin instead of looking in her eyes. Good for you that you can do this for yourself!

hi did the microneedling with prp help your daughter? I was thinking og doing it. Thanks

So helpful. I'm so scared. Have large depressed scar on one side of my face. Fearing it may make worse but doing nothing makes me unhappy too.
Thanks for sharing

It looks great! I have the same problem of picking! I thought I was alone, not even knowing I’m doing it half asleep! I think it’s anxiety. Thanks for sharing this process! I don’t know if I could be as brave, but it looks like it works

I’m starting to feel human! My face till kind of dry when I make facial movements, however I find it difficult to keep my skin “matte” so translucent powder throughout the day at work is a must. Some colleges and friends have commented that they do see a difference. My sister said “yes, I can still see your marks, but they are more shallow than before.” So that’s positive. My face does show improvement on my cheeks for sure. The photos don’t do it justice.

I definitely see an improvement, your skin looks a lot smoother!! BTW love your eyebrows!

Thank you! And I’m naturally blonde, so my brows have micro pigmentation powder. Totally worth it.

I have yet to find anyone on here comment that their skin is more oily after laser. I had laser resurfacing in Feb 2018 and my face pours out oil now, everywhere and not just T zones. This is now causing me as much stress as my acne scars and I don’t go anywhere without my make up bag. Of course, my doctor didn’t say anything when I said this happened after laser. Did your PS give you a reason? Does he think it will resolve? Thank you and continued good luck on your journey!

I hate my bad habits (2 weeks PO)

Ugh. Why, WHY can I not keep my pesky fingers off my face? I swear to god, I don’t even know I’m doing it. I just mindlessly pick at my face in the evening when I watch tv. I’m so disgusting. But anyway, I am 2 weeks PO today! Lemme just say again...ugh. *be positive, Emily*
Anyone else chant to themselves? Btw, if you see a review (like one of mine) that has a bunch of ?????? in, don’t assume (like I did) that the person doesn’t know WTF they’re doing. No, that’s the individuals attempt as using emojis and they don’t show up. Damnit RealSelf, GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT! :(
I digress. I can see a bunch of little pin point pricks (hehe prick) on my forehead. Tried to capture that in a photo, but it’s just not showing that well. I was told that this would happen, so not a big surprise. I had the most aggressive treatment done to my forehead and it looks the worst so far, but gain...2 weeks. Must. Be. Patient! I’m such an instant gratification person, so this is difficult.
I DO see a difference in my marionette lines which is just a huge plus. Woot! And the craters in my cheeks have definitely had some improvements. And I’ve now been approved (thank god) to use a more aggressive acne prevention face wash, because damn...my face broke out.

How is your post treatment result now?
October 12, 2018
I must say that I’ve had several friends and colleagues remark that they see a difference. (About to post my 3 week update photos). I see tracks from the laser and they sometimes get filled with oil, so I must be very diligent in my wash washing efforts to keep my acne in check. Since moving to my more aggressive face wash, I’ve noticed it helping in that area. I have noticed that I struggle to keep my skin “matte” than before, so translucent powder is a must throughout the day.
