I had a great experience with Dr. Davoudi. He does know what he's doing and I appreciate that. I asked for chin lipo. I got 3 quotes from 3 different doctors and decided on Dr. Davoudi because he seemed to know what he was talking about and didn't try to upsell me a bunch of other procedures. He did try to get me to get a chin implant but made it optional. I opted against it because I didn't know how my body would react. I paid, in total, about $3600 for the procedure. I was given a $1k discount (I think it was a special they were running). Davoudi did an awesome job on the procedure. The aftercare was a little underwhelming. I went home with a bunch of bandages and went to my next appointment a day or 2 later and they removed the bandages but didn't have a compression garment for me. They rummaged through what some vendors had given them to give me one and that was a bit sketch to me. I ended up buying my own plus using the one they gave me for surgery for 2 full weeks. The only time I took it off was to shower. It really sucked but, honestly, I think it gave me much better results. I went back for a 2 week follow up and one of the ladies there took my stitches out. I told her there was more stitches under my chin and behind my ear but she said "NOPE! I got them all". A few months after that I pulled the stitch that was under my chin out because it was irritating me. See pic. There's still one behind my ear. I can feel it. It's healed over, though, so there's not much I can do to dig it out. When I finally saw Davoudi after the surgery (I think it was the 6 month mark) he seemed shocked by my results, which was kind of funny to me. He said my full results would be 9 months later. It's now been 11 months and I'm happy with it. I do recommend getting lymphatic massages (I got several) and wearing a tight compression garment 24/7 for 2 weeks. 10/10 happy I did this and would recommend it to others with the tips I listed above.
I was so nervous to have a procedure like this done but Dr. Davoudi and his staff was so supportive, informative, and helpful through out the surgery and long after. They handled me with the utmost care and made me feel less nervous before the surgery. Great people to see for cosmetic needs!
Dr Davoudi and his team were absolutely incredible! Dr Davoudi listened to my concerns and my desired outcome and gave me exactly what i asked for. The doctor and his team talked me through the surgery and recovery process very throughly and answered all my questions. Hands down best decision of my life! I highly recommend Dr Davoudi!
For along as I can remember, I always wanted breasts. Dr. Davoudi did an amazing job. Dr. Davoudi did a great job making me feel comfortable and answering all my questions. I'm so happy finally did it. Updated on 14 Feb 2023: Day1 PACU — initially woke up feeling fine with a lot of pressure on my chest, which was expected. Leaving —it had been a total of 21 hours since my last meal so I was HUNGRY! I had a banana waiting in the car. After eating the banana I immediately went to Panera to grab chicken noodle soup and a green passion smoothie. I drank the majority of the smoothie on the ride home and ate the soup once I was home. My stomach felt fine. One thing to note is, normally I almost always have a bowel movement after drinking the smoothie. This time, I did not. This was my reminder that I really needed the stool softeners the Dr prescribed (however this couldn’t be taken until the day after the surgery). —I continued to hydrate with water and made sure to get up every hour and walk around for at least 5 mins. —Later in the evening I had salmon and a fresh salad with no dressing & extra cucumbers. I made sure to continue hydrating. By this time I finished dinner I had drank at least a half gallon of water. I took my first Percocet for pain after dinner but probably should have taken it a little earlier before the pain meds from the hospital wore off. I took my second perc before I decided to lay down for bed, which was about 4hrs later. I was instructed that I could consume up to 8 within a 24hr period. Lounging/ Sleeping You’ll leave the hospital with a Velcro band that goes around the top of your chest and it will be TIGHT! This will create pressure on both your chest but the worst part is the pressure it puts on your upper back. You’ll need to fight through it but just a warning it is annoying when trying to get comfortable and trying to sleep. I noticed that the more I laid at an incline when sleeping, the less my chest hurt through the night. They tell you to get a lot of rest but I did NOT sleep well the first night. I kept waking up thirsty, which then made me have to get up to use the restroom & prevented me from getting any uninterrupted sleep. Day 2 I traveled from out of town for my procedure so the day after the procedure I flew back home. Airport Getting through the airport was fine and helped with me getting the walking in that is needed to prevent blood clots. Be prepared to go back through the body scanner & then taken to a private room for additional screening due to the padding/bandages being super dense, so a normal pat down won’t work. Continue to eat and get your fluids in. Remember no sugar. Depending on the time you had your surgery the day before, you should be able to take your ace bandage off, which will relieve a little bit of the pressure. You’ll still need to wear the band/strap across the top of your chest though to ensure your implants fall into the pocket correctly. Day 2 of recovery was painful. I got really swollen. My chest felt engorged. Remember to ice as much as possible. 15-20 mins on and 15-20 mins off. Day 2 is when I began my antibiotics, stool softeners, & continued with pain meds every 3-4hrs. Day 3 I woke up much more sore and swollen. I looked forward to being able to take my first shower. The best part was taking everything off. It felt good to relieve the pressure from the bra and strap. You’ll also get to scratch all the places that begin to itch once you remove the bra. Day 3 is also when I had my first bowel movement without having to take the Miralax. The stool softeners def helped out a lot. I also discontinued the Percocet and switched to Tylenol extra strength. I was very intentional about what I ate as I wanted the best recovery possible and one of the ways to ensure that is eating foods that promote healthy healing. I ate a lot of apples, sweet potatoes, baked chicken, broccoli, and grapes. I also made sure to drink at least a gallon of water and a protein shake. All in all I felt okay but a lot of discomfort when trying to sleep. Being honest, sleeping was horrible. Be sure to get a body pillow to help keep you at an incline. Updated on 14 Feb 2023: Breast have begun to fall a little and round out and they look beautiful. I was able to remove the surgical tape and wash the incision. The scar looks good. I am patiently waiting for the marker to fade. I was told not to scrub the skin it will fade over time. As of now, my areolas and outer part of my breast on the side, are tender/sore to the touch. At day 14 I began taking vitamin E pills and I started my massages. I am still a little tight in my chest area, which is normal. Also still hydrating everyday with at least 1/2 a gallon of water per day.
Dr. DaVoudi and his office staff were amazing from start to finish. I started my journey with him at my first consultation in September 2022. I had my breast reduction 3 months later. Everything went well and I love his work! My breast were a size 38 F/G cup. Now I'm a 36 D barely. I love the shape of them as well as the size. This surgery changed my life and made things much more easier for me. I highly recommend this surgeon.
I am a 32 year old mother of two. Prior to my two pregnancies in 2010 and 2013, I loved my body and had no complaints. I was all belly with both pregnancies, needless to say that ruined my stomach. I do not regret my children nor my pregnancies. I had just resigned myself to having my tummy ruined and just wore Tankinis. My stomach was loose skin and super saggy, I hated it and it gave me a complex. There was nothing I could do to tighten it. One of my friends had had a full mommy makeover with Dr.Davoudi and she had amazing results! I went in 2017 for my first consultation, I was sold after meeting Dr.Davoudi, he listened to me and answered all my questions and concerns, but life happened and I had to postpone. Finally in 2022, I went back for another consultation and he remembered me. We scheduled my tummy tuck for the end of the month! It was the best thing since the birth of my babies! I had fantastic results! Dr.Davoudi and his staff are amazing, and they make you feel better than ever about yourself! My recovery wasn’t bad, I did very well, and I returned to work in 2 weeks. I would totally do it again! The cons were the drains (they didn’t hurt, one just pulled at my skin bc of the stitch holding it), walking hunched over for two weeks (I recommend getting a walker), and the fans compression garments (I called them torture devices) thank goodness it was summer and I could wear swing dresses over them, they made my results fantastic though! The pros are you look fantastic afterwards and you feel amazing too! I would do it again and I think Dr. Davoudi is the best! He makes you look natural and fabulous! His technique and his results are just incredible!
I had a mommy make over in Nov ‘21. (Tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift/reduction. From start to finish the staff made sure that any questions or concerns I had were answered in a reasonable time before my surgery. Mindy was super helpful in regards to my consult, fees, fears, concerns, etc. She navigated me through this really huge decision and ultimately I am so glad that I did it! Dr Davoudi is a perfectionist and has made me feel so great in my skin again. He is so positive and professional - you are in the best hands! And Toni was my nurse during recovery. She was always so prompt about returning any texts within the same day when I had ANY questions during recovery. 5 stars HIGHLY recommend! Updated on 16 Mar 2022: My back had so much fat on it that I had no shape to my butt. I literally had two to three love handles on each side. Dr Davoudi really went all in with the lipo on my back. I have curves again back there and feel so great! Updated on 16 Mar 2022: Wow - just wow! I still can’t believe the total transformation. Highly recommend Dr. Davoudi and his team. I would do this over 100 times again and was so very hesitant and scared about surgery. It is March 16 and life is back to normal - although I cannot engage in any core exercise for a full year after surgery.
So I’m 39 and I’ve been wanting to have this surgery since I was 21 after I had my first son. He is now 18. I have two children my youngest is 14. I think it’s time to get it done. I went on two consultations. First consultation wasn’t even with the doctor it was with her nurse. I just didn’t like the vibe of the office or of her staff. I chose DR. Davoudi because of how great him and his staff treated me. I’m booked for May 9th my pre op is April 29th. I can not wait. I will post some before pics. Updated on 26 Feb 2022: So the day after my consultation I called the office and gave my card number to book. But my account was never charged and I never received a confirmation. So I called yesterday and was placed on hold for 15 mins. I am going to try again on Monday. I’m like is this a sign not to use this office. I hope it isn’t I was really excited about having my surgery with this doctor. Updated on 28 Feb 2022: I got to Speak with the office. It was just a miss understanding. I’m still booked. I’m just really nervous and I already took the time off work so I have to make sure it’s correct. I’m going to start buying my post op supplies. I’ve been on YouTube watching so many videos. Now I’m confused. I know for sure I will need a walker and a shower chair. Updated on 22 Mar 2022: So I know had problems with anemia because of fibroids. I had procedure to take care of my fibroids the end of last year. So today I went to get my blood drawn to find out my levels. Hopefully when I get the results it’s what I want them to be. I drink coffee everyday so hopefully that’s not a factor. So it’s 7 weeks before my surgery I’m just making sure I can pass a medical clearance just because that was my only health issue. I’ll update tomorrow about the hemoglobin level. Updated on 2 Apr 2022: I purchased some things I might need after surgery. I got Arinica gel and tablets, Arnica and pineapple tea, Neosporin, Anti-bacterial soap. I think that’s all for now. Oh I did get extra pillows so I can prop up. I don’t have anemia anymore so I’m healthy. I just keep praying for a healthy recovery. Every time I think about having surgery I have an anxiety attack. Im trying to think positive. Pre-op is April 29 at 10. I’ll purchase more things after I get instructions. Updated on 29 Apr 2022: I’m so excited. I went to my pre-op and it was a very pleasant experience. Everything I need to do before and after was explained to me. Now it’s just a waiting period up until the day. I purchased some more supplies. I got gauze, band aids, pads, lipo foams, and some food for before and after the procedure. Updated on 24 Jul 2022: My surgery went very well. Dr. Davoudi is an amazing doctor. I had surgery May 9th 2022. I arrived at the hospital. The staff at the hospital were good. I didn’t really care for anesthesiologist, I remember him throwing the mask on my face right before I went under. My procedure went well. I stayed overnight at the hospital for some pain management. The first 5 weeks I was bent over. It me a long time to stand all the straight. I always felt like my muscles was pulling me down. I didn’t have the swell hell that everyone talks about. I do have swelling but it’s not too crazy. My results look great. My scar is nice and flat. My belly button is very nice. I do have some hyperpigmentation but that just how my skin heals. I’ve been using cocoa butter and bio oil to help with that. I would recommend Dr. Davoudi he is very skilled and my tummy tuck is everything and more. I know it takes a whole year to heal from a tummy tuck but I love my results already. I will post pictures when I get a chance. I’m scheduled for my 3 month visit on Aug 9th 2022 I will update afterwards. Updated on 29 May 2023: I’m satisfied. Most of my swelling is gone and now I can do some ab workouts. My belly button is bumpy though. Just trust the process because it really takes time for your body to heal. Only advice I can give is to make sure you are in great shape before having surgery because it will kick your butt.
Been blessed/cursed with boobies since the 6th grade. Largest size 36N at age 36 when u was also my heaviest weight 267. 2020-21 I lost 65 lbs and decided it's time to do this. Insurance approved my procedure back in 2014 but I decided not to do it at that time, chickened out. Went back to to the Dr on August 24, 2021 and insurance approved me on Oct 10. Surgery completed 11/19. Updated on 3 Jan 2022: Dr Davoudi was just the right Dr for me. He is kind, Knowledgeable, super experienced and made me feel extremely comfort level in his hands. I saw I’m twice before the surgery date and discussed my last minute questions on the day of surgery. He assured me that my positive attitude would take me far during my recovery and that he would give me breasts that were more appropriate for my frame. Updated on 4 Jan 2022: Working on scars now. I’ve been using Scarguard which is a liquid silicone sheet that you brush on. Not sure if it’s helping but I am applying daily. The bottles are small you will probably need one per month. I have been able to go for a run and felt like I have never ran before. The 6 1/2 pounds they removed from my chest makes running now feel like a breeze. This week I’m also starting to work out and trying to get in better shape. Happy new year. And again if you’re thinking about having a breast reduction, just do it! I’m almost upset with myself that I waited this long to feel this relief.
Words will never describe or convey my level of gratitude and just sheer excitement regarding my experience and my results with Dr. Davoudi’s office. He OVERSTOOD the assignment and gave me 25 yr old me! He gave me a small waistline, revealed hips that were already there, and with the posterior flank lipo, revealed ASSests I knew I had, but never knew was so much! Lol. I’m just so happy. His staff and office are wonderfully designed and give off a very peaceful ambience. I was actually going to another doctor’s office when I was told that I’d have a better and much more professional experience here. This was soooooooooo true. If you’re in Atlanta, Georgia seeking an amazing surgeon and staff who will truly OVERSTAND the assignment…look up Dr. Davoudi. My surgery was on October 22,2021 and today is December 29, 2021…just a little over two months and I feel amazing. Returned to work after three weeks. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway.
I understand and appreciate your concerns about the keloid scarring but unfortunately in my opinion you definitely need a breast lift. As it's obvious from your side view the nipple is significantly below your breasts fold underneath your breasts and therefore if it a lift is not done either your implants will still sit low as your breast are now and/or we will see what's commonly known as a double bubble deformity where the implant is sitting on top of the chest and the breasts below. Additionally an appropriate breast lift will assist and promotes the breast implants to sit up high to create a aesthetically pleasant upper pole. Good Luck!
You're absolutely right that appearance is most likely from excess skin that still presence above your belly button. Short of doing a full abdominolplasty or a reverse tummy tuck, probably the simplest thing to do excise or remove that extra skin that's sitting around the umbilicus, which may not be a great option since you tend to form hypertrophic scars. As I remind my patient doing consultations, sometimes one has to make choices from not very good options. Hope you found this helpful!
Regretful that you had to experience such on favorable outcome. But there are solutions which may require 2 to 3 different procedures to be done over several months to years. The simplest thing to do is to remove the central part of the skin graft by simply cutting it out and closing the rest of the wound letting the surrounding the skin to relax for at least another six months to a year make another visit to the operating room removing additional for the skin graft and bringing your own natural skin slowly together over the course of several different visits to the operating room (commonly know as "serial excision". Another option is to place tissue expanders (balloons) underneath the skin on the sides of your abdomen to expand the skin overtime by putting fluid in these balloons and then cutting the skin graft in the middle and bringing the edges of the newly grown skin together, but that's a much more complicated option. I guess the good news is you do have choices to enhance the appearance but the trade-off is additional surgeries. Good luck and thanks for the question1
Please contact and notify your surgeon immediately as this may represent a inflammatory response to a suture or worst yet localized infection. This area either needs to be opened and or packed and or placed on oral antibiotics. The most frequent culprit for suture infections would be any permanent sutures that were left for the muscle tightening. Patients will occasionally see the suture Ashley or road through the skin after or before the drainage and that sutures simply just needs to be removed. Please address as soon as possible as sometimes these can become chronic problems.
It would be very beneficial to be able to see your entire abdomen as to ascertain how much skin you have and what your muscle tone is like. I would venture to say that after two more pregnancies and 10 years from your last abdominalplasty, you most likely will need a second round of abdominalplasty. As far as the muscle tightening is concerned they can either be determined by your Plastic Surgeon or decide upon intraoperatively and of course the goal of the tightening would be that if you wish to have a flatter abdomen and of course a morecurvaceous core. You're definitely going about it the right way by first losing all the weight that you desire and then consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon that should be able to devise a plan aligned with what your goals are. I would definitely bring in some core exercises during the weight loss. To see if you can strengthen the core and possibly avoid the need for muscle tightening. Good luck with your weight loss suffers and congratulations on the two new additions.
