Chin Lipo Success
I had a great experience with Dr. Davoudi. He does know what he's doing and I appreciate that. I asked for chin lipo. I got 3 quotes from 3 different doctors and decided on Dr. Davoudi because he seemed to know what he was talking about and didn't try to upsell me a bunch of other procedures. He did try to get me to get a chin implant but made it optional. I opted against it because I didn't know how my body would react. I paid, in total, about $3600 for the procedure. I was given a $1k discount (I think it was a special they were running). Davoudi did an awesome job on the procedure.
The aftercare was a little underwhelming. I went home with a bunch of bandages and went to my next appointment a day or 2 later and they removed the bandages but didn't have a compression garment for me. They rummaged through what some vendors had given them to give me one and that was a bit sketch to me. I ended up buying my own plus using the one they gave me for surgery for 2 full weeks. The only time I took it off was to shower. It really sucked but, honestly, I think it gave me much better results. I went back for a 2 week follow up and one of the ladies there took my stitches out. I told her there was more stitches under my chin and behind my ear but she said "NOPE! I got them all". A few months after that I pulled the stitch that was under my chin out because it was irritating me. See pic. There's still one behind my ear. I can feel it. It's healed over, though, so there's not much I can do to dig it out.
When I finally saw Davoudi after the surgery (I think it was the 6 month mark) he seemed shocked by my results, which was kind of funny to me.
He said my full results would be 9 months later. It's now been 11 months and I'm happy with it. I do recommend getting lymphatic massages (I got several) and wearing a tight compression garment 24/7 for 2 weeks. 10/10 happy I did this and would recommend it to others with the tips I listed above.
