Mid 30s, needed to get rid of the belly fat and stretched sagging skin from a pregnancy YEARS ago. I am very pleased with the outcome so far. Seen results instantly! Was told they took off a canister and a half of fat ????. The only part I’m not liking is the swelling and feeling of heaviness in my lower abdomen. Updated on 20 Feb 2018: Post-op Day 17 Updated on 20 Feb 2018: I am 17 days post-op and i am still very swollen but I am loving the results! I’m just ready for the swelling to go down and see the end results. For anyone who has had this procedure, are there any foods I should avoid to prevent swelling? I also have these hard spots in my lower abdomen and flanks. I’ve read to massage them out, but to apply pressure to those spots are so uncomfortable. Any suggestions? Updated on 21 Feb 2018: So i am finally feeling better, much less pain but still very sore. I must say the first week was absolutely horrible for me!!!! Taking off the compression garment made me feel very faint, i was moving very slow and a hard time getting up from a sitting to standing position. I did go back to work a week later and (to me) that was not a good idea, but unlike others it’s just me and i have bills to pay a child to feed ???????????. As you can see i am still very swollen, i have hard spots in my lower abdomen and flanks from where they did the lipo. I try to massage them but they hurt to push on it. I still weigh the same amount and to be honest, I didn’t do this for weight loss, i did it for the removal of the excess skin and so far so good! I wish i was told what foods to avoid to prevent the swelling and what else i could do to knead these hard spots out. Updated on 27 Feb 2018: So these pictures are 6days apart and i am seeing small changes everyday. You can see the swelling subsiding in my lower back and lower abdomen. I can’t wait til i don’t have to wear the compression garments anymore. I have my one month post-op visit next week and will be switching to the 2nd garment from there. I was told at my initial follow-up appointment that they didn’t want me to get the 2nd garment then because they were pretty sure that i would still be in a large and by the time i come back for my 1 month visit that i would be in a medium so they rather I’d wait and get re-measured. Fingers crossed ???????? that I’m in a medium and that everything else is ok and healing nicely. See you guys for the 1month follow-up.
Fantastic staff! My Patient Care Consultant, Stephanie Naar, was the best. I am very pleased with my results and will return for more services. These people are definitely amazing. From the start of the procedure up until the very end they have shown that they have the professional approach in providing what their clients need. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to all the people and staffs who helped and assisted us when we were there. You all guys are definitely great and deserve a mention.
I gave birth to my daughter by c-section 19 years ago. I am very active but have always struggled so hard to lose any of the fat in my tummy area. After seeing the Sono Bello commercial a few times, I finally decided to set up a consultation, and I'm so that I did! It has only been a week since my procedure and I am already noticing the new shape my body is transforming into! Thank you to Dr. Shatz and all of the staff at Sono Bello for this life changing experience!!
He was very kind and understanding. He listened to me. I told him exactly what I wanted and he did it perfectly. I had breast implants that were too large for my body frame since I lost weight. He not only one in there and replaced the implants but also uplifted them. Very happy with his work
I have always been fascinated with the idea of cosmetic surgery. As most women story goes i was a brick house on the skinny side before kids. But my babies were worth the 90lbs weight gain than essure was different beast of its own. I have always been active therefore i had gain alot of muscle as a 5ft9 women it was normal for me to be in the 200s but i had an extra hip as my husband called it ( lol he says he can call it that now that it is gone). I was never able to get rid of the belly fat i tried it ALL and i mean all option and lipo was my last resort. I inquired sonobello and went may 19th for my consultation and i was scheduled for my surgery may 21st yes two days. I dont think i even had a chance to be nervous lol. Any who i put down 200 and went in the next day to neet the surgeon. Dr Shath he was cool he called my belly fat 3 footballs that hurt a little but the truth hurts given that was the reason i was there. So he infomed me that he couldn't do anything for my stretch marks but that wasn't my concern. He said that you will be a good candidate and took pics weight and measurement. Day of the nerves kick in but i went in they gave me my glass of wine meds and walked me to the bathroom and than to surgery. It wasn't bad but by far wasnt a tickel it hurt but you will live. The dr talked to me the whole time telling me you were all fat and its coming out easily asif it wants to come out. They removed 2500cc of fat from my upper and lower abs and waist with 1200cc of tumescent. Recovery was okay day 2 was by far the worst i was in so much pain but i managed to get out of bed and walk a little. By day 4 i was able to go to the track and walk a mile and half. I am now 3 weeks post op and must say im feel good i see the difference. I was away curious about sex i had sex day 6 post op but it wasn't that comfortable tried again day 12 better by day 16 i was great i big difference is i feel my husband ribs rub against my ribs lol. I still have swelling and it is uncomfortable to wear pants for a long period but all is well. Updated on 29 Jun 2016: I love my body the biggest difference is those footballs on my side i look so cute in clothes i have not lost weight but im 4 inches down at this point i have to put in the work to get it the way i want it but great investment. I tried running without my garment and that was a bad ideal ouchy. But slightly sore moreso on the sides. Updated on 19 Jul 2016: Im still somewhat satisfied. My sister in law who getting married in two weeks told me she doesn't see a difference. Hater because there is a huge difference. I LIKE what i see yet it has its up and down. Sore somedays 4lb down from the date of surgery. So im iffy Updated on 26 Aug 2016:
Was really looking forward to this. First off I looked into coolsculpting but seen the long and painful recovery. I had procedure done on Saturday and went back to work in Monday. I drive a dump truck for a living (for those of you who don't know I deliver rock asphalt and dirt). I was okay with everything. Procedure was mildly uncomfortable but the doctors and nurses helped me through it. At this time it is 6/25/15. I have a 2" rise just above my belly button. I go for my 3 month appointment in one week to discuss this and the numbness and soreness in my sides. They say at this point I should be at 60%. As long as that's true I will be happy. But at this time I'm not happy with the results. If I wanted to exercise and diet I would have. They made me feel as this will make me more in shape and contored. I injured my back in 2008 and really can't work out. I am an active person but doing sit up and all is and never will be me. I will try to keep this updated when I can. Updated on 19 Jan 2016: I will take pics just before my revision but my doctor feels I didn't get the best result. He is doing upper and lower abs again but I have to pay for the waist. I don't believe the waist is how it should be but just want it done. Updated on 3 Feb 2016: Had my revision done on upper and lower abs plus waist. Feeling the normal pain and swelling. Below I will post the before and afters as of now. Had a great experience with my doctor and nurses. Doctor believes I will be so much happier with these results this time. Updated on 4 Mar 2016: It's been a month and have started working it. I had a shelf in the middle of my abs before and now it seems worse. Does any one have any suggestions to help with this? How can I get rid of this?
He could've taken more. My stomach has not changed. After liposuction, while expressing my concerns I was told I needed a tummy tuck. Well I feel I should've been advised that if he knew I wouldn't achieve the results I desired in the beginning. I was told by the office staff he could take more since I wasn't satisfied. Upon meeting with him he said no that would cost u more and walked out of the room as I was still talking. Keep in mind I paid 12,000 for liposuction of my bra rolls waist and belly. I still have bra rolls, waist and belly and they are the same as before. The waist is better, but there was hardly any fat there to begin with.
Its going better, after the first 3-4 days. I went back to work day 3. Got some swelling. 3rd day stomach was way done now im going through swelling stage back is sore from bra area being treated as well sleep is not good purchased benadryl cream for itching stomach feels very tight
