So these pictures are 6days apart and i am seeing small changes everyday. You can see the swelling subsiding in my lower back and lower abdomen. I can’t wait til i don’t have to wear the compression garments anymore. I have my one month post-op visit next week and will be switching to the 2nd garment from there. I was told at my initial follow-up appointment that they didn’t want me to get the 2nd garment then because they were pretty sure that i would still be in a large and by the time i come back for my 1 month visit that i would be in a medium so they rather I’d wait and get re-measured. Fingers crossed ???????? that I’m in a medium and that everything else is ok and healing nicely. See you guys for the 1month follow-up.

Hi I had lipo of the abdomen and flanks Oct 26 2017. I tried to avoid salty foods to help keep the swelling down and I used a rolling pin to massage the hard lumps and it did do the trick. The swelling seemed to take forever to go away I still swell some towards the end of the day depending on what I eat. Happy healing!

Thank you so much. Unfortunately I love salty foods but i will definitely try to stay mindful of that and increase my water intake as well.

Post-op Day 17

Laneese

So i am finally feeling better, much less pain but still very sore. I must say the first week was absolutely horrible for me!!!! Taking off the compression garment made me feel very faint, i was moving very slow and a hard time getting up from a sitting to standing position. I did go back to work a week later and (to me) that was not a good idea, but unlike others it’s just me and i have bills to pay a child to feed ???????????.

As you can see i am still very swollen, i have hard spots in my lower abdomen and flanks from where they did the lipo. I try to massage them but they hurt to push on it. I still weigh the same amount and to be honest, I didn’t do this for weight loss, i did it for the removal of the excess skin and so far so good! I wish i was told what foods to avoid to prevent the swelling and what else i could do to knead these hard spots out.

Where did you have most of the swelling? I’m five days post op from trisculpt ex and very tender, swollen in the lower abdomen. The dr said it’s common and normal after procedure.

Post-op Day 17

Laneese
I am 17 days post-op and i am still very swollen but I am loving the results! I’m just ready for the swelling to go down and see the end results. For anyone who has had this procedure, are there any foods I should avoid to prevent swelling? I also have these hard spots in my lower abdomen and flanks. I’ve read to massage them out, but to apply pressure to those spots are so uncomfortable. Any suggestions?

I am 33 days post op and I am just now strating my pressotherapy treatment. I am also experiencing that hard and sore spots on abdominals and flanks. I have found a hand held massager works in the meantime to relieve some of the pressure. I am still swollen in some spots but over all no longer in lower abdomen. That will subdue for you.
