I went in for my consult in December 2016, Dr. Vanik is by far one of the best Dr.s I have come across, I went to 5 different Dr's for breast augmentation, before meeting him. This Dr. has a wonderful bedside manner, very honest opinion. I went in with one idea and look and him being the Dr. gave me his opinion and perspective, After all he is the surgeon and he's been doing plastic surgery for a long time , he sees the gone wrongs and fails. Dr.Vanik a great Plastic Surgeon, Everyone that has seen them so far, tells me they look natural. That's what you get for going behind the muscle as he suggested. You want surgery done right? You will not be disappointed with Dr.Vanik. My incision looks very small, no bruising, Went from an A cup to a perfect C cup. They look beautiful! Thank you Dr.Vanik, you did a wonderful job, and made me the happiest I have been in years. I would highly recommend Dr.Vanik and his staff.

Males should not have breasts! I have had them since I was in 4th grade, and no matter how much I worked out, or dieted I could never get rid of them. I had enough! I am a healthy young 26 year old male. I exercise with weights, and cardio 4-5 times a week. I was self conscious about what I wore, and could only wear dark clothes with prints around the breast area.
Dr. Vanik is amazing surgeon and empathetic to his patients. He put me totally at ease with the surgery and did everything possible to make a positive outcome. He has changed my life and no back pain and able to stand straight again. I am moving and doing things I haven't done in years. Any one around Houston should use Dr. Vanik!
I have always had very small breasts for my body and have had difficulty getting dresses and tops to fit appropriately even after alterations. I wanted breast implants since I was a teenager and finally was able to get them. During my initial consultation with Dr. Vanik he was extremely nice and thorough in explaining to me my options and the way the procedure would work. He answered all my questions and spent over an hour talking with me. This along with the pictures of his work (which look far better and symmetrical than many of the other doctors I've seen) helped me to choose him for my surgery, and I'm so glad I did!! I was very scared that my implants would be too big for my body or be too heavy but Dr. Vanik reassured me he would choose the most natural look for me. During the day of my surgery he even took the time to come speak with me and reassure me one more time. I couldn't be happier with the work that he has done. He truly chose the perfect size for me. He even took time to essentially re-do one of the breasts during surgery by changing out the implant he'd already put in, to make me look more symmetrical (so he basically threw away an implant just to give me the best look he could). He called me the day after surgery to check up on me and see how I was. That really shows you what a great person he is. Not many doctors would do that, and I was really impressed. It has been about 2 months since my surgery and I love my breasts! I would recommend Dr. Vanik to all my family and friends. His whole office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful to answer any and every question that may come up.
Liposuction is a big decision and it took me awhile to make up my mind. I knew I wanted to go to Elite because they are the best, but I live in North Carolina so it was quite a big decision to make! So glad I decided to book with the Houston location. I had lots of questions and seriously probably sent 100 emails to the patient care consultant. Her name is Channing and she's so helpful and nice. She's had the surgery herself and gave lots of helpful advice. She talked to me like I was her friend (or MOM haha) so I felt very at ease. I decided to book with Dr Vanik. I had read some great reviews on him and he didn't let me down! I flew in to Houston the night before my procedure and stayed at a hotel in the area. My apt was early morning and I was done a little after lunch. I did my full abdomen and arms. I ended up traveling alone which was fine. I woke up very sore the next day. They told me I would so I was expecting it. It feels like I went to a really hard Zumba class or something. WORTH IT! I am wearing clothes that haven't fit me in years! I am so excited and motivated to continue improving my look and results. I still have some swelling but it improves weekly. This was the best present I could have every given myself! After all these years, I deserve it! Definitely check out Dr Vanik and Elite Body Sculpture for lipo!!
Let me just start by saying this decision, did not come lightly! I really didn't like the thought of "having lipo" because I wanted to be able to do it on my own! But after 2 full years of HARD WORK at Barre class (4-5 times a week) and a strict diet, I decided I need a little help and I DESERVED a little help. I had some stubborn lower belly fat that just wouldn't budge and for my 60th bday I wanted to take the steps to get it off!! So glad I did! I live in Louisiana and was glad that Elite has an office in Houston. I was a nervous wreck! I have 3 "kids" (all over 25, but still!) and kept thinking all the bad things about what I had read about lipo. My concerns were put at ease as soon as I met Dr Vanik. I had already talked to the patient care consultant, Channing, on the phone a bunch of times. She's a sweetheart and answered all my questions. She told me I would love Dr Vanik and I really do! He's very comforting throughout the entire procedure. Some parts of the surgery are a little more tender than others, but its easy to get through and he asked my how I was doing the whole way through. AND he gave me a waistline and got rid of my pot belly! No amount of sweat at Barre could have done what he did for me. I am about 6 weeks out and finally stopped wearing the compression garment this week. Glad to say good riddance to that thing! I know I won't see final result for 3-6 months but I can already tell a change and super happy. I do have a little bit of looseness to my skin, but hey I'm almost 60 and have had 3 kids! Very pleased with what he was able to do. As far as recovery goes, I spent the night in Houston that night of surgery and then drove back to Louisiana the next morning and then returned to work after that. I was definitely sore for about a week, but its manageable. Give them a call if you're thinking about making some improvements to yourself this year! Super nice staff and great doctors! Good luck!
Monday morning is the big day! I've though about having an augmentation for years. The big day is fast approaching. The Doctor and I have decided on Textured round siiicone; haven't decided on cc's yet but looking at the range if 500cc to 600cc. If the 600cc is attractive and will be long lasting plus gives me my desired the look I wish to have, then hopefully that's what I end up with. I am hoping for nice cleavage, volume, and fullness. I'm currently a modest B and really hoping to end up with a DD. Updated on 1 Jul 2015: Wanted to add that I'm 5'3" 150 lbs very athletic. Weight lifter. Doc gave me 400cc HP under the muscle. Updated on 2 Jul 2015: On my way to take this surgical wrap off! Updated on 2 Jul 2015: Updated on 2 Jul 2015: Updated on 2 Jul 2015: During my initial consult with my PS we hadn't confirmed a cc, but knew we would go 45 cc and up, and according to the PS, I could hold up to 600cc. Well, after a lot of thought I was hoping for range of 600cc through 500cc, and no less. I'm really disappointed that he gave me 400cc HP. I see my doc on Monday and will let him know I'm disappointed. Updated on 3 Jul 2015: Updated on 3 Jul 2015: Updated on 6 Jul 2015: HAPPY 4TH! Updated on 6 Jul 2015: Updated on 8 Jul 2015: Stitches have come out, and I'm starting to feel a lot better. Still have some soreness, morning boob is a little uncomfortable, but doesn't last long once I get up. Back at work, and back to driving. I wasn't happy at first with the augmentation, but I'm beginning to like it more and becoming happier with the size. Updated on 8 Jul 2015: No bra! Dropping and settling nicely. Updated on 8 Jul 2015: With a bra....better w/o bra Updated on 8 Jul 2015: Poor buttons don't stand a chance ;) but I do love how the look in my clothes! Updated on 19 Mar 2016: I was very unhappy with my first BA. I talked to my doctor and we agreed to do a revision. My surgery was yesterday 3/18. I think I am going to be extremely happy! My first BA,I got 400cc. I now have 700cc can't wait to get this surgical wrap off and see the new girls!
Hi, It sounds like a few things may need to happen... Typically the answer would be no. After the majority of your weight loss, “tummy tuck” abdominoplasty and panniculectomy can tighten loose sagging tissues. This surgery is designed toremove and re-drape redundant lower and middle abdominal wall skin and fat. An incision above the pubic region and extending towards the hips places the scar where it can be hidden by most clothing. The skin and fat are separated from the underlying fascia (layer covering the muscles of the abdominal wall). In the standard operation this dissection continues up to the ribs exposing the vertical muscles (rectus muscles). The skin around the belly button (navel or umbilicus) is divided so the redundant tissue of the upper abdomen can be pulled down. This hole will frequently be pulled far enough down to be removed with the excess tissue. When less tissue needs to be removed, this hole may become a short vertical component of the lower scar. The abdominal wall muscles are then drawn together in the midline narrowing the waistline. This stitching firms the abdominal wall and removes some bulging. If you are also having a hernia repair it will be dealt with at this time. The repair of a hernia depends on the size of the hernia. The standard method of hernia repair involves making an incision in the abdominal wall. Hernia repair done concurently with a panniculectomy may include a midline incision as well as a “bikini line” suprapubic incision. Conversely, there may be no additional incision, other than the suprapubic incision, when the hernia repair is done concurently with the panniculectomy. This area, the hernia, is then repaired with sutures. Often a prosthetic material such as mesh, another plastic or biological material is sutured in place to strengthen the area and close the defect. The skin flap is then stretched down, the extra skin, underlying fat and tissue is removed. A new hole is cut for the navel, if you choose to transplant your navel, and contoured to create its shape. There are other options that can be discussed with your surgeon for the look of a navel without the possible complications of the transplanted navel not taking in its new location. There may also be some degree of Mons Pubis (the mound of fatty tissue just covering the pubic bone just above the pubic area) lift after panniculectomy. Good Luck
The deep suture are dissolving by the bodies reaction to them. This is part of the wound healing cascade. Nothing unusual but see your surgeon in person to better explain and check to make sure everything is OK. When it's time you will start massaging them and and when your surgeon gives the ok, start using the silicone strips. Best of luck!
Based on the pictures you have provided they appear to look fine, However given these are pictures its very difficult to actually see the appearance and shape. My opinion, wear a full cup supported bra no underwire 24/7 (unless taking a shower) for about 4 weeks. No lifting over 8 lbs for a week then gradually move up. Shouldn't reach hands over head. lay flat on back post 2 weeks after surgery ( due to gravity). Best advice is you are in a 90 day global period with the surgeon who performed the breast augmentation, Go back and see them and have them lay eyes and hands to make sure. No heavy lifting for a few weeks. Best of Luck to you!
