I had a tummy tuck about 8 months ago and really wanted to get some definition to my new flat stomach. Emsculpt was amazing!! I have abs!! And the staff at ageless remedies was fantastic and really helped me understand the treatment and my results
Doc is extremely professional yet caring at the same time. It is important when undergoing such personal procedures to feel his understanding and respect for what I am hoping to achieve and why. His competence shown over the many years I have been receiving treatments has secured my trust. I confidently recommend his services and those of his supporting team. The office teamwork is unmatched. I always feel like I'm in good hands from the moment I walk in to the spa.
After Wright loss and with aging I started to notice my temples and cheeks getting hollow/sunken leading to a gaunt appearance. I had been getting Botox from Dr. Greenburg for a few years and knew he is masterful at his art. I consulted with him about it and he recommended Bellafill to my cheeks and temples. I’ve had two treatments about a year apart and I LOVE the results! People keep telling me how great I look and that I’m “aging in reverse”! All credit to Dr. Greenburg for making me look as good on the outside as I feel inside. His staff are also very kind, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!
I'm in my mid-30s, African American. I had a 3rd shift job for 7 years (which I blame for my dark circle). Third shift, plus a young family led to many exhausted days. My dark under eye circles have made me look tired or miserable (or both). I finally decided to do something about it, because my eyes started to look sunken and wrinkled too. My concealer started to sink into my under eye creases, and look like a cakey mess.
After Turing 38, I started noticing signs of again around my mouth so I went to see Dr. Greenberg at Ageless remedies. I didn't know that he would soon be my new BBF :) my lips a fuller, the lines are less noticeable and his work was wonderful. I will never go without filler in my lips now. My mouth looks like it did in my 20s again! I will upload pictures later when I am on my computer. Restylane is natural looking and most importantly natural feeling!!
I've been here for Botox a few times. Both times my eyelids were very droopy after. I never had this problem in past. Had filler put in too, but didn't see much difference. Dr. Greenberg is a nice guy. Staff became more friendly after I've spent a couple thousand there. Trying to look younger is expensive
I don't know if it's the Bellafill or the doctor, me or all of the above, but there is no difference to be seen! The doctor suggested Belotero under eyes cost 1190.00 very slight difference. No difference in lower and upper face where the Bellafill was used. Dr. suggested Restalane on lips (that did show) I looked like a fish for three days! I did have a couple pin spots where the needles were inserted under my eyes. The pain was pretty bad, I felt like a pin cushion after all was said and done. The doctor wants to see me for a follow up visit where I will get 400. worth of Botox and more Bellafill, I am not looking forward to the pain again! I really am not a woos, I've had a neck lift and no where near this kind of pain was involved. I am sorry I didn't have a total face lift, cost would have been almost the same and I am sure I would have seen a change. Too late, I wish someone had warned me. Yes I have heard it takes time, but shouldn't there be some sort of improvement?
Interested in Fraxel for moderate acne scars. I am scheduled for 5 more Fraxel Restore sessions after this first. I purchased a package of six for the 1550 laser treatment. Jocelyn, my aesthetician, handled the procedure alone without the doctor present. She put the numbing gel on my face, waited 15 minutes and reapplied. After an hour she came back to begin, she cleaned my face and exfoliated it. I told her that I was pretty tough so she went about mid-level for this procedure. She told me what to expect- heat and a prickling feeling and it was that! The prickling/shocking did not bother me as much as the heat luckily the laser had cool air blowing from the top of it. It wasn't awful but I would not say that it is a comforting feeling. At the end of the session, Jocelyn provided me with a fan and allowed me to relax as long as needed. They gave me a skin care kit with cooling gel, moisturizers a no-rinse cleaner and 50 SPF sunscreen for delicate skin. My face was on fire! Not in a terribly painful way more so a really bad sunburn way, it also looked that way. I drove home with my AC fan on high directed at my face. To my surprise, after I got home the pain faded, from what Jocelyn had told me about the skin care kit I thought I'd be miserable all weekend having to apply cooling gel constantly. I did not. I haven't even opened the cooling gel. Saturday, my face looked swollen and still red, I was surprised that I could go outside after this procedure. From what I had researched it seemed I would be held up all weekend. Jocelyn explained that this was for the skin discoloration treatment rather than my acne scarring treatment. I put on moisturizer and then the sunscreen, then a mineral foundation to run a few errands. Sunday, my face had tons of small whiteheads all over, even in places I don't usually break out in. From what I read, this was the skins way of releasing toxins/bacteria and repairing itself. I used the rinse less cleanser, then after wiping it down with apple cider vinegar to clean and then a couple of moisturizers. Monday, I was still broken out but not as badly. My skin had this terrible dry layer of skin with the laser pattern. Makeup covered the blotchy patches but didn't look that great over the dryness. Tuesday-Wednesday were the same. Thursday, I started noticing that a lot of the dead skin had come off towards the center of my face and that the largest of my scars had improved a little. My pores were also a lot smaller! Friday, still some dry skin on the edges of my face. Breakouts to a minimal, OMGoodness my pores are smaller! I'm excited to continue my treatment. Jocelyn told me that I would really start to notice after the fourth treatment. I'll post updates that I've noticed a lot of reviews here are lacking. Richard Paul Greenberg, MD. PhD Ageless Remedies SouthPark Updated on 7 Apr 2017: Round two of six was on 2/24/17. The dry skin went away a lot quicker this time and I purchased their in-house makeup (LUXE) in hopes to make it look better during recovery. It's doing a good job so far, I use it every day. I feel that I don't notice much change after this second procedure. The scar is still there but maybe not as deep? Jocelyn let me know that the reason I broke out in whiteheads previously was because of the sunscreen she put on my face directly after the procedure the first time. She let me know that this doesn't happen to everyone. She didn't put it on this time afterward but I did the next day and still had a few whiteheads. She went a little milder this time at 60, 8 passes. I felt like it didn't hurt as bad maybe because I knew what to expect this time. Updated on 7 Jun 2017: Round three was a breeze, she went a little mild but it didn't hurt as bad and it recovered quite quickly. I'm not sure if this is because I knew what it would feel like going in or what. I noticed that right before the fourth that my scars were becoming less deep but they looked larger? Maybe because they were more shallow? One spot was dark but my esthetician let me know that this was because it was active blood vessels healing the scar and it that it was normal. The fourth treatment was a bit more painful. I had to reschedule my appointment due to a vacation about two weeks later? I was a week away from my time of the month? Maybe for these reasons, it was more painful than I remembered? All in all I'm really loving my results so far. (I went to work without makeup one day!)
Sculpsure is a non- surgical, non- invasive laser treatment to reduce fat volume. We started using Sculpsure in my Charlotte, NC practice Dec 2015. Today these lasers are likely to be in all communities across the country. Lasers used for cosmetic fat treatments target fat cells below the skin and cause these cells to die and slowly be removed by your body over a period of 3-4 months. Fat cells that are eliminated by this treatment do not grow back. That means there is a permanent fat reduction unless you gain a lot of weight. Treatments are of short duration, requiring roughly 25 minutes, and are non painful. You can expect about a 20-24% reduction of the fat volume in the treated area.
It is contraindicated to have a Botox treatment when pregnant or nursing. This is because of the potential risk to the baby if Botox passes from the mother's blood stream through the placenta to the baby in the case of a fetus or from the mother to baby through the milk in the case of breast feeding. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, three products that are similar because they all stop muscles from moving, can be potentially deleterious to the baby. It is not unusual for a women to have treatment in the early days of a pregnancy when she is unaware of the pregnancy. However, I'm unaware of reputable scientific studies or reports that demonstrate a link between normal cosmetic doses of Botox given inadvertently to a pregnant or lactating woman causing harm to the baby.
There is a difference in the treatment for a droopy eyelid and a droopy eyebrow caused by Botox, Dysport or Xeomin. A droopy eyelid is thought to be caused by a direct effect of the Botox on an upper eyelid muscle. Using an over the counter medication like Visine, 2 drops three times a day, may stimulate the weakened eyelid muscle to lift the lid. There are more effective prescription medications for this purpose. More Botox in this instance will not be useful. On the other hand, a droopy eyebrow can sometimes be helped by additional Botox. The forehead muscles are the only ones that lift the eyebrows while the muscles of frown and your crows feet muscles pull the eyebrows down. Thus, if you relax the muscles that pull the brows down you may have a bit of an eyebrow lift. In this case additional Botox may be useful.
