This procedure has the middle/lower part of my face sunken in

Buccal Fat Pad removal nightmare.

$2,900
Here are my before/after pictures for the buccal pad procedure. I contemplated a fat transfer to correct this. But that wasn’t going to the correct the sagging. I have now undergone a mini facelift that I’m very satisfied with. If I could do it all over again, I would have gotten face lipo. Please don’t remove your inner fat pads.

Who was your surgeon for the mini facelift?
Will you be sharing your experience with photos for your mini facelift? Would love to see how that corrected the buccal fat removal as I’m looking into something similar instead of a fat transfer
Honestly I don’t see where you needed to have the buccal fat removal from your before photo. Some of us have much rounder faces. You are beautiful now and you were beautiful before.
hi, would you be willing to share your before and afters of the lift :) I'm glad it helped. I'm thinking I need one.
Who did you facelift?

Amazing Doctor/Bad Decision

I had buccal fat removal in 2020. I wanted to achieve less volume in my lower face. So, one month post op I noticed a difference after the swelling decreased. 6 months in, I noticed more of an indented look. So basically this procedure has the middle/lower part of my face sunken in. I have aged almost 10 years. My lower face/jowls is literally sagging. I now have lines where I did not before. My face is ruined. LISTEN TO ME….DO NOT remove the underlying fat pads in your face!!! This is detrimental to the aging process!!! I look like a crackhead with my face sunken in!!! Look into other options if you want a slimmer jawline or contour!!! I am literally wearing a mask to cover my face. Now I have to spend thousands of dollars for a facelift so that I can look normal again. Dr. Robb is great. Wish I would’ve considered and researched this procedure before moving forward. I regret it.

I am so, so sorry. I also had this procedure (with a different surgeon) and regret it every day. It was the worst decision I have EVER made. It aged me terribly... took the youth right out of my face and my smile. I'm speaking to multiple people who have also underwent buccal fat removal and are experiencing the devastating effects of this surgery (which we are not properly wanted about). Have you considered fat transfer before doing a facelift?
I’m so sorry it happened to you to. Everyday I wish I had a time machine. Yes I have considered the fat transfer. I’ve scheduled a consultation with a new surgeon! I have to do something quickly! Right now I’m just hiding behind my mask
