After losing alot of weight with diet and exercise I underwent my tummy tuck with a verified board certified plastic surgeon. Dr Fischer does not have many reviews or before and after photos online. During my research I only found about 4-5 reviews. I am posting to let others know that I totally recommend him. He has lots of the photos in his office. He will show you photos of women that are similar to your size.
I have always had a thin upper lip that would disappear when I smiled. I started getting lip injections about 2 years ago and started with Juvederm. I loved the results but it only lasted a month and a half. For the price I paid, I considered not doing it again if it would only last such a short time. I tried again using Restylane Silk. Holy cow did I swell that night and the next day to the point where I was concerned that something was wrong. Well day three came (after using lots if ice) and my lips were amazing. And results seriously lasted 3 months the first time and 5 months for my more recent injection. I highly recommend lip injections since it changes the whole look of your face without doing something drastic. Also don't get discouraged on your first attempt, you may need to find the filler that last longer in your body.
I was beyond sick of living with it. I never felt comfortable in anything I was wearing. I am now 2 days post op. Had drains removed 1 day after the procedure (minimal pain with removal). Zero pain now. A little bit of swelling. Looks amazing!!!!!!!! Chest is completely flat. No puffy nipples or visible breast tissue. I cannot believe how good the surgery came out.
I have always wanted larger breasts, my shape needed them. So after breastfeeding three children, a little over a year for each, it was time. I am turning 40 in a few months and knew I had to do something now. I knew I would use the same doctor who did my TT in 2007, since he did an excellent job. I actually had my third child in 2010 and it still looks great, even he says its amazing. I am actually the first before and after picture for abdominalplasty on Dr. Paul Fischer ( Milford ct) website. After viewing this site non stop since I decided it was time in early March I was set on Moderate plus. However, due to the look I want, Dr fischer said HP silicone would be best with incision through the aerola since he was going to reduce the size of those anyways. I was so nervous even though I knew how good he is, actually two of the hospital nurses said if they would ever do anything it would be with him. I was a little unsure in the past month since I never saw any reviews on him on this site, but I am so glad I went with my Dr. Fischer. When I awoke a few of nurses ( again) said how great they looked, already a natural appearance. Once in recovery I showed them to my husband and best friend of 30 yrs plus ( who actually was probably the first to see my old breasts lol. I'm not sure what size I ended up with, I only recall he was going in with a 325-425 HP silicone range. The nurse said he came in to talk to me in recovery, but I remember nothing. Dr. Fischer is amazing, pain is not too bad as long as a take the meds. I went in at Milford Hospital at 6:30 and remember looking at clock in operating room at 7:45 and then opening my eyes at 12pm exactly according to clock in recovery. I arrived home (25 min from hospital) at 1:30. I thought to myself this ain't too bad ( having newborns who would occasionally sleep through a feeding and having felt Breast engorgement I found it tolerable) after the dilauden anyway. I took my first muscle relaxer and Percocet around 2:30, so I apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors. They seem to ache when I stand up though and took a second pain oil at 4pm ( bottle said to take 1-2) every three to four hours. I am currently very happy with them and that Zi did the surgery, although I have seen that some Realself reviewers have had buyers remorse later in healing process. Dr just called while I was writing this and informed me he used 450 cc HP silicone implants B Updated on 12 May 2015: I started to experience more pain last night, most likely because I missed taking my meds ( I didn't want to take them). I ended up having to take 2 pills to get some relief, I don't feel anything from the muscle relaxers. I know a lot of people get really sleepy but I couldn't fall asleep till midnight and woke up at 3:30 needing more meds, fell back asleep till about 7:30. Right now I just grabbed a few ice packs and I am placing them under breasts since my rib cage area is sore as is my pectoral area. My breasts feel tight and engorged. The dr did not say to wear a bra but I feel as though the support would help, I can't believe I said that I usually can't wAit to take my bra off. Updated on 13 May 2015: Still feeling tight and swollen but the pain has subsided a bit. I started Ibuprofen yesterday and it has helped. I have my first post op later today. So bizarre looking at the nipple area, they look freaky. So thankful for this website, I feel better seeing the progress women have made in weeks following surgery and feeling optimistic that mine will look better soon Updated on 20 May 2015: Ok I couldn't help with the rhyme, and it's not the meds. I found out at my one week PO I only had two stitches on the lower side, since he needed to take in a bit more for my periareola lift. I went and tried bathing suits yesterday, which as traumatizing as it was I was happy when I needed a D cup top. First time I didn't have to swap out bikini pieces, my top matches the bottom. I probably could of got away with a smaller bottom but I liked how it looked, just no diving. Updated on 28 May 2015: 18 days post op and I am worried my right dropped to fast and that it will bottom out. I'm not sure if it is because I'm comparing it to the left that is still hard. The right feels softer also Updated on 2 Jun 2015: I only notice the asymmetry in photos. When I look in the mirror I think they look good, I just have to remind myself that they are mine lol. Still getting use to them and how they look in clothes. Updated on 16 Jun 2015: Well it's been five weeks and I'm getting use to the new look. I still have slight morning boob but getting much better. I never thought. Would need my Lilly padz again but they have been perfect. In fact my surgeon was quite excited about them since they are self adhesive silicone nipple covers. They are great to keep the nipple sensitivity in control and will help with scarring, win win. Says he can't wait to tell other patients about them. Updated on 26 Jun 2015: I am so worried my right breast dropped too much. Maybe it is because it is in comparison to the left that is higher, that one is also tighter, firmer, and still getting little muscle spasms. Maybe that one will meet up with the right, but then will both look to low. I am so paranoid about them looking saggy ???? Updated on 4 Jul 2015: Updated on 11 Nov 2015: I am getting use to them. It's so strange that I use to hate wearing a bra, now I feel more comfortable when I do. Some days I think they look great and others I think they look saggy. Any thoughts??? Updated on 5 Dec 2015: Exactly 7 months post op Updated on 24 Aug 2016: Updated on 24 Aug 2016: Updated on 24 Aug 2016: I asked for natural looking and it's what I got, some days I wished I asked for HP but I am overall very happy and would recommend Dr. Paul Fisher in Milford CT. I naturally have a wide chest and keep in mind I chose not to do a full lift ( maybe in five years), but only a periareola lift. Tan lines are not very flattering, and I plan to tattoo the incision scarring since the office offers this. I hope my procedure journal has helped Updated on 24 Aug 2016: Updated on 24 Aug 2016: Updated on 3 Oct 2016:
I am pretty athletic but I have some stubborn fat on my inner thighs and flanks u cannot seem to get rid of. I decided to look into this a month or so ago and when I met Dr. Fuscher, I knew he was the one who was going to do my surgery. He is very thorough, detailed and set realistic expectations. Updated on 31 Jul 2016: So a bit more about me, I am 46, I have 2 beautiful teenagers 14 & 12, and have been divorced 2 years. I have always been pretty athletic, run several times/week, swim, bike, Pilates and weights classes (P90x and Les Mils Body Pump are my favorites.). Despite my efforts, I have put on over 20 pounds in the last 2 years and it has been really bothering me. I have been doing a significant amount of research and learned it is likely a hormonal imbalance and spikes in my cortisol levels from stress. So, in my research, I have also learned that liposuction can truly help when close to ones ideal weight. In my research, I learned that I could combine this with a breast augmentation which I never really took seriously until now. I have always been small, have compensated with padded bras, fuller tops and a coverup over my bathing suit. I have always been self conscious in workout wear, and I am at the gym 6 days/week! Hence, my decision to do both! I had wanted to use Dr. Fishcher because of the 4 I consulted with, he was the most realistic, clinical, honest and his staff was exceedingly professional. However, I had some monies that did not come through in the way I had hoped, and I did not want to finance this if I did not have to. My friend, who is a trauma nurse, is accompanying me to Miami, FL to have the surgery and care for me for 4 days before returning home. I would never have considered this option if it were not for my friend. I still have not decided on size, although I do know I want silicone. I want large enough to look good and make a difference, but not so big as it is alarmingly obvious I had surgery or that they look fake. I have a professional job and am returning to work 8 days post surgery which I suspect will be challenging. Additionally, I still have not told my kids. They will be with their dad, and returning to me the following Friday, so I will have a week to heal before seeing them. I haven't decided on how I want to deal with that yet. I have some questions, outstanding issues and could use some advice/support: What to wear post surgery and traveling home? I purchase a few sleeveless zip up shirts I thought I could wear over the post surgical bra Did anyone who had lipo purchase a 2nd garment? I fear this one will be discussing before long and traveling home could be less than pleasant, especially in this heat How long before I can resume exercise? Thinking I could return to the gym and get on a bike within 10 days and start slow, thinking I could do wall squats, plies, lunges etc. anything not involving too much of my arms. How did people blow dry their hair and get ready for work post breast augmentation? Updated on 1 Aug 2016: ....but who is counting? Still haven't decided on size, full B or C? Trying not to panic. Work is busy which is a good thing, but when I walk out of there tomorrow, no turning back for over a week! I welcome any last minute advice...and boy am I craving a glass of wine! Updated on 2 Aug 2016: Packing to travel tomorrow. A stressful few days at work, it was hard (not really), to walk away. I had to chuckle when everyone wished me a good vacation! Wondering what I will wear post op... Updated on 3 Aug 2016: On my way to Miami. I have been so busy I have had no time to stress which I think might be a good thing. I will post some pre post very soon. Updated on 4 Aug 2016: Woke up feeling fairly well rested, only to realize that is what I will be doing for the next several days! Going to stretch and do some light Pilates so I feel lithe and strong before headed to the surgery. Hard to believe this is really happening.... I will post some photos later. Updated on 21 Aug 2016: I am more than 2 weeks post op which is great, but not without its challenges. Yesterday, I attended an annual community event and was able to wear a strapless dress (casual) with no bra and feel completely confident! I will admit it felt great! Not once did I need to adjust my dress (vs the 100s of times I might have pre BA!). It was exceptionally HOT though and I have 1 more week of the compression garment (I have a strapless one) so I will be thrilled to burn those soon (ok, tuck in my back draw for a while). I made the mistake of sleeping on my side the other night (partially, not even a full 90 degrees) and I have been paying for it with a swollen left breast for days! It hasn't been fun, wondering if others have this problem? I can definitely see a change already, both are softening and my right one is "righting" itself by gently dropping so progress is slow, but steady. As an avid exercise enthusiast, I am STRUGGLING about my lack of exercise and I can see where I might go a little BSC in the next few weeks. Especially not being able to do planks, burpees (I don't actually like them but appreciate their value), and generally any kind of weight bearing workout. I am headed to the gym shortly to get on the bike and have begun doing squats and plié squats but I can see where I might tire of those soon. My PS said I can return to Cardio at 6 weeks and cannot do any workout involving the chest (hint: weights) for 6 months!!!! Is this the norm? I had thought 3-4 and was surprised to hear 6. I will post pics soon!
